Pros:STAFF WAS FRIENDLY FOR PICK UP BUT THERE THERE WAS NO ONE AROUND AT ALL FOR DROP OFF. JUST A NOTE TO PUT THE KEYS IN A BOX.
Cons:A LARGER CAR AND THEY HAD THEM AVAILABLE AND ALMOST $14 A DAY FOR AN EXTRA DRIVER IS AWFUL. I EVEN HAVE AAA AND THEY WOULD NOT HONOR A FREE EXTRA DRIVER
Pros:The staff, in Allentown, at Lehigh International, were great. The lady working the counter there was friendly and polite. The staff at Baton Rouge Airport, now that's a different story. The lady working there was full of attitude. Dealing with her, she made you feel like you were inconveniencing her by being there.
Cons:When I arrived at Baton Rouge to pick up my rental, they didn't have the vehicle type that my reservation was for. I made my reservation 7 days in advance, only to be told they didn't have any luxury vehicles. I did however get an SUV for the price of what my reservation was.
Pros:Staff at pick up of cargo van in Baton Rouge was mixed in responsiveness and helping. We had to make suggestions to staff which they should have pro-actively done for the customer. They were courteous but seemed not interested in engaging perhaps because they were so understaffed. We actually had a very poor experience with a reservation for mini-van at BTR which they could not fulfill nor were able to contact me (I can't understand why they did not reach out via email) over phone and this set us back a full day and a half. The staff there at BTR was not helpful nor very kind again they seemed overworked and without much interest in engaging or trying to resolve our issue.
Cons:An email notification that our reservation for mini-van at BTR would have been very helpful and thoughtful, saving us much anxiety and grief. No one cared to offer any sort of adjustment for the short-comings and problems on their side. I don't think I will be doing business with Hertz anytime soon. It is so disappointing as I have always thought of Hertz (as I used them many times over the years) as the gold standard for rental...not anymore! Truly sad experience and impression from a once well known company.

Pros:The staff was wonderful but their were no cars available and ready, I think they should put it on website no car available. They had so many people waiting on car and no cars was available.

Cons:The service on both ends was very poor. I do not have a credit card, and the would not let me use a debit card because I didn't have a flight at the airport. I was 8 hours from home, needing to rent a car.
Pros:I'm thankful I had a car.
Cons:There were no Budget agents available at check in. There was a sign telling me to record my fuel & mileage, then bring the keys to the Avis counter inside.

Pros:Staff was very kind and helpful at 2nd BR location despite my concern about the incorrect/surprise fee, and advised me on my best options. I phoned the original booking office and was told my reservation could not be found and I would be charged due to to different return point. I persisted that I had booked that way from the start and was given the full cost at the time. Eventually my reservation was found, verified that it was indeed booked from the start with a different drop-off point, and the $40 fee was returned to my card. Staff at 2nd BR location was patient with the conversation and pleased with its outcome on my behalf.
Cons:Location most convenient to me (within 3 miles) refused to drop off upon return when I called to check if they had available drop-offs at that time, said they were not the correct location for my area and that was that. Arrived at closer location in time for return, was told I would be charged additional $40 fee due to returning to different location than booked, despite booking having included different drop-off location and original pickup having given instructions to drop off at ANY location within the city booked for return.
