Made a reservation two months ago for a rental car for my trip. Get to the rental car pick up and they proceed to tell me we don't have any cars and it will be a 3-4 hour wait on a car. The single young lady who was working the morning (@ 7am) of May 8 did her best to handle the surge of travelers waiting to get their rental car. There were approximately 25-35 people waiting while I was in line. Also... I want the individual working the Hertz station in the garage to be given an award. MR. Thomas B (I cannot recall just last name)...when I explained my situation trying to get to a college graduation that was starting in 50 minutes....took the initiative to provide me excellent customer service as an individual. Alamo refused to honor the terms of the contract that we initially established with them and for which they accepted payment (i.e. Fraud) because the reservation primary driver was not the person that paid the prepaid amount (despite that person being present, with ID and credit card used, at the time of pickup). They proceeded to establish a new reservation at a higher rate, refusing to honor the original rate (i.e. Bait & Switch) of the reservation. It took a significant amount of time with multiple customer service agents at both check-in and check-out to get them to abide by the original terms of the agreement. Very questionable business practices, I have to wonder how many other people who were not willing to go through the hassle of dealing with their byzantine customer service system have been overcharged because of this.10.0 Wonderful

I had accidentally put in the wrong days to pick up my rental so there was just a little bit of an up charge. However since it took awhile to figure out why the was an up charge they have me a free upgrade in vehicle. They were super helpful and nice. Completely willing to help me out!7.2 Good

This rental company is off, off, off the DFW terminal property. Getting to their location was a complete mystery. The number to call for shuttle service did not work. I was never able to contact a live person, so I had to walk-up to the Budget counter at the real rental car center at DFW - and got the most amazing van on the spot for an incredible price.
