Pros: The staff in the Belfast Cromac Street branch were just great-I hire cars a lot and they went out of their way to help me.

Pros: Pickup and drop off were a breeze. They even drove us back to the hotel after drop off. The car was clean and ran great. Did some extensive driving and never had a problem.
Cons: A litlte bit of a hard sell for the additional insurance which I did not need.
Rental
Pros: Pickup and drop off very easy and staff were very accommodating. Staff were friendly.
Cons: Wr requested a Mercedes and were given a BMW despite several email exchanges with Enterprise about the car. My husband and I are both over 6 foot so an M3 was a little small for us. The rep at the branch was friendly but seemed very nervous about the car and didn't have very a general understanding of the functions. She showed me how to turn it on but it took a friend to show me where the unlock button was in the car. The car was also set in a default cruise that made it shut off very time the car was at rest for the length of a stop sign or light. I only learned by accident that the car started up again when I took my foot off of the gas. I also then had to figure out myself how to turn that feature off as we were doing a great deal of city driving.
When we arrived, we had to pay for the reservation amount up front instead of when returning. This was in addition to the security deposit. They said they had no record of a payment coming from Kayak and seemed very unfamiliar with your service. I also had to pay for insurance with them because they stated they had no record of the insurance we had purchased with Allianz through Kayak for the rental. I called Allianz and they said that it should be visible on the reservation.
Even though they were Washing the car when we arrived, we found pieces of trash under the passenger seat.
There was also no explanation of how to adjust the seats.
The car was very nice but if Kayak is going to continue with Enterprise, a little more education for the staff would probably be helpful.
Although the staff were very impressed with the low rate we received by renting with Kayak.
Pros: Enterprise were brilliant in all aspects of customer service especially in rectifying the mistake that Kayak made.
Cons: Kayak lack of service was awful. My order was incorrectly transferred across to Enterprise which nearly meant my car was not ready and was only avoided when I rang a day before I travelled to rectify the mistake that Kayak made.
Pros: Car fitted it's class ie. A Mazda estate when the class said 'Ford Mondeo' or similar. It's frustrating when you want a car like a saloon or an estate and get given a terrible car like a Juke or Quashquai... they sacrifice space and comfort for being a fashionable shape.
Car was thoroughly cleaned (take note Europcar!)
Both the desk person taking payment and the guy in the car park giving the cars out were efficient and polite etc.
Cons: The location on our reservation was different from where our actual car was. We were lucky the airport had an extra card. Kayak needs to work closer with Enterprise to ensure they have the right car in the right place.
Pros: QUALITY OF CAR GOOD. MUCH BETTER THAN A NORMAL AIRPORT PICK UP AUTOMATIC
Cons: BIT OF A MIX UP WITH THE ONLINE BOOKING. THE WEB BOOKED THE CAR THROUGH A CAR FORECOURT ABOUT 20 MINS FROM THE AIRPORT BUT SAID THEY'D WAIVER THE PICK UP DROP OFF FEE AS IT WAS A TECHNICAL HITCH. THIS DELAYED ME ABOUT HALD AN HOUR AFTER MY FLIGHT
Extortionate cost to reduce incredibly high excess
Cons: Be careful as the quote I was provided online did not clearly show the excess that was £1,800! This was obviously in the small print however not clearly viable on the quote. Subsequently the car hire cost me an extra £160 for 6 days to reduce the excess.
In light of the total cost of the car hire I would not be choosing Enterprise again! The original quote is misleading.
Pick up
Pros: I rang Enterprise 2 days before my rental only to find out there was no car for me. Thinking it was sorted on my arrival to Belfast City there was still no car for me. They then asked me for £60 more than what I had booked the car for! After discussions I got the car down to a similar price which I had booked. This was not a good way for a car hire and I will not be using Kayak ever again!
Overcharged
Pros: I will be reaching out to enterprise directly for an explanation but I have two charges on my credit card in dec 24. One for $300 and another for $800. Even with the additional insurance this is far higher than the quote I received.
I'm hoping they'll resolve this matter, but I'm very disappointed.
The car and pick up experience in Belfast was good though.
