The rate got changed on me at pickup. I was eventually able to get it credited but it took a number of contacts over time which was a hassle. Car wasn't as clean as I would have expectedHertz

We rented a compact online but when we arrived they only offered sub-compact. We were picking up right at closing which kayak nor Hertz notified us about. Had we not arrived early we would have been unable to pick up rental and would have had to pay for 2 full days prior to being able to pick up2.0 Poor

Cons:
I cancelled my rental. In order for me to use my bank card that is associated with my checking acct and is in my name they had to run a credit check and base on my credit score it will let them know if I could use it! A bunch of BS! I went to Nextcar rentals on Baughmans Ln and had Absolutely no issues using my bank card and my deposit was only $150 not $250, so I saved over $200 and the rental was nice!2.0 Poor

The car had AWD which was nice.Cons:
The size SUV that I reserved (months prior) was not available as they overbooked. They gave me something smaller but still charged the same price. The car was dirty- seats stained, dirt/dust all over, trash in the seats. This was during COVID-19 when cleaning standards are supposed to be even higher than usual. Windshield wipers were a safety hazard and I almost had to replace them like the last Enterprise car I rented. I will not rent from this Frederick Enterprise, or any Enterprise, again.3.6 Poor

And this was during COVID-19 when cleaning standards are supposed to be higher! The windshield wipers were also very poor and would be considered a safety hazard in the rain. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The car model was just what we wanted. Everything was explained in detail.Cons:
The car was a little dirty, with crumbs and lots of scratches in the interior. We had to vacuum it and wipe it out before we used it, which was a little disappointing.2.0 Poor
