Pros: The price was ok.
Cons: The brakes weren't working properly.
The tires were not safe to drive, and should be replaced.
The steering wheel vibrates on high speeds.
The car's power outlet didn't work, so i couldn't charge my phone while driving.
Pros: clean car , staff attitude
Cons: low fuel , need more improve in handing over the car
Pros: Quite easy and friendly staff
Cons: The car wasnt really clean and the breaks werent working good enough
Perfect service!!
Pros: The front desk staff at Beirut airport is very helpful and serviceminded.
Great and Friendly Service
Pros: Friendly service
Cons: Nothing
Worst experience ever
Pros: Renting company refused to give me the car and I had to pay much more in order to get a similar car on a last minute basis.
No car was provided
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Hertz cancel the booking without prior notice and dis not provide any replacement had to go home by taxi and it was very disapointing
Hertz or kayak canceled my reservation before I got here
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Hertz or kayak canceled my reservation , so when I arrived to pick up the car hertz said kayak canceled my reservation.
When I called kayak they said Hertz canceled my reservation. So I was left without a car and finally I reserved a car thru a local company.
Pros: It was very frustrating to get to Beirut airport after 24 hrs of traveling to find my reservation cancelled
Cons: How would you feel after travelling for so long to come to Hertz counter to find out that reservation was cancelled and lied to your face by saying "we have informed you that your reservation was cancelled" Although I have an email from Hertz less than 24 hrs earlier confirming my reservation. Needless to say, I had to get a taxi and to rent another vehicle for the duration of my stay. Very very very sour taste in mouth. With all the international travel I do, never had such a very bad expoerience
Hertz Beirut did not respect the reservation I had booked online
Pros: Their customer service is horrible, I showed the clerk my reservation, he told me it was cancelled on May 2nd 2017, I asked for a proof , he couldn't provide one , I showed him an email from Hertz confirming my reservation dated on May 5th 2017 , he called the supervisor, and when the supervisor wanted to speak to me , he simply said the price I was given by Hertz was too low , and he would never give me the car for this price .
Cons: I was forced to rent a similar car from Budget for 4 times the price I was quoted from Hertz.
Mostly as expected. Great value compared to hiring
Pros: $105 for 3 days, airport pickup and drop off, mid-size vehicle with automatic transmission (a must in Lebanon), clean and reliable vehicle
Cons: The drop off was a bit confusing. The guys asked us to call before entering the parking lot, which we did 3 times but he wouldn't answer. Finally, we entered the parking garage where it said rentals should go and the guy called. He told us to proceed to the Hertz area. He then said it would cost us $4 for the parking fee. We told him we wouldn't pay because we had tried to call beforehand to come and let us in the parking garage for free. After some back n forth he finally backed down and didn't charge us.
Great!
Pros: The office is clean and comfortable. The stuff are really nice people. No hassle drop off. The car was top notch.
Cons: It was hard to find exact address of the office. Would be useful if owners put it on Google Maps.
