Cons: Nothing much really. Some of the wardrobe door handles had wear and tear, but very minor compared to the spotless room otherwise. We overflowed the coffee machine, spilling everything into the snack drawers and carpet - so instructions on how to operate it would have been helpful.

Pros: The rooms are a good size for Hong Kong. The elevators to take a while so whenever along for travel with Uber or a cab plan on 15 minutes extra time. During the holidays this can be much more. The lounge experience with the exception of the staff there is exceptional they go above and beyond.
Cons: Halls and common areas were over fragranced. Housekeeping staff were meticulous however kept partially use glasses thinking we were going to reuse them. For example I would have a glass of wine However was unable to finish the left 25% of the glass house keeping with think that I would keep the glass and drink it the next day. This was a little frustrating the dessert was the same way. The halls are very fragranced

Pros: The view from the room is exceptional, just for the novelty of being able to say you've stayed at the tallest hotel in the world is pretty neat. The club level is smaller than it shows in pictures i've seen, but is never too crowded. Igor is one handsome man.

Pros: A big “Thank You” to Guest Relations Officer Ms. Mary and the staff of the Island Shangri-La for arranging the exceptional experience that we enjoyed over the last couple of days. A member of our party was celebrating her birthday and all of us were absolutely delighted by the wonderful gesture of a surprise champagne celebration, followed by framed pictures of the toast. Pure class. This was my second stay at the Island Shangri-La and both times I have been rewarded with nothing but the most gracious hospitality by everyone who assisted from check in to check out. We appreciated every little detail which the staff ensured was perfect, and we look forward to returning. The harbour view rooms offer what could be considered one of the most stunning panoramas one can enjoy from a luxury property anywhere in the world. And of course the “Great Motherland of China” painting is the stuff of legend. Just that is worth coming for. 11 out of 10.

Pros: JW Marriott was absolutely amazing. Staff was extremely courteous, facilities were clean, the place felt luxurious, and accessibility from and to the hotel was convenient. The hotel is located in one of the best malls of the city which is directly connected to an MTR station! Wifi was free and reliable which was very important to me.
Cons: The prices are steep but you expect that in Hong Kong. At almost $350 USD per night, breakfast could've been included in the package but was not.

Cons: When I went to my room after checking in, staff was repairing my door which took about 10 more minutes after I got there - should have been done before allowing me up to the room. Also one of the window blinds was broken and had to be repaired.

Can walk a total of about 1.5 miles to major high end shopping, Apple Store, Kowloon ferry and Hop-on-Hop off bus. Lots of food near. Beds are a little hard but not as bad as mainland China. Rooms are very small but efficient. Beautiful outside patio for resting, relaxing and eating the continental breakfast that is provided every morning. Staff was fantastic. Hotel is small with only about 10 rooms per floor.

Even a very basic breakfast. Free, functioning internet (which the major hotels chains haven't yet been able to figure out for some reason).
Cons: They do NOT provide some of the things that the traveler has become accustomed to receiving, so be forewarned that you will get shampoo but no conditioner. If you have non Hong Kong/UK electronics, better bring your adapter, because they don't supply them.

Pros: The location is a couple of stops from the hustle and bustle areas of Hong Kong. It's acceptable for every form of transportation. The tram and bus run in front of the hotel. The HKG airport bus is located diagonally across the street. The MTR station entrance is two blocks away but the walk to the actual MTR train after entering the station is about 9 minutes walk so allow yourself some extra travel time. The Tramway and bus that runs in front will take you to most parts of Hong Kong.
Cons: It is not in the heart of the financial district or center of actions of Hong Kong which translate to a quieter neighborhood. It's not for people looking for the lifestyle of Mong Kok, Lan Guai Fong or Central.

Pros: Sadly, apart from the excellent location (very good and Central) and really polite / helpful staff - there wasn't much to like. Rooms are basic (but perhaps about right on the value for money front) while lobby, Wi-Fi is very good
Cons: The hotel seems to have very poor ventilation & severe humidity issues which requires that air-conditioning is kept on most of the time (even when not in room to prevent condensation). Additionally, sound proofing is very poor and you can hear even the softest of conversations, TV/Audio from adjoining rooms. While room was clean, corridor carpets were stained and dirty. The hotel is also undergoing some kind of repair and upgrade, so I can only hope they get it right soon. Overall, a very uncomfortable two night's sleep.

Pros: Can't beat the location and value, Room was clean and the staff was friendly... overall a great experience! Would definitely return. The trick is to show up low expectations and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. If you're used to staying at the W, then this hotel is not for you.
Cons: Whoever complains about how small the rooms should not be considered a valid complaint, MINI is in the name of the hotel! Just know that it's perfect for the short stay solo traveler. The only things to note is that maneuvering the shower can be challenging (may have just been specific to my room) and that the bed is very firm. Can hear street noise as with any downtown hotel, but nothing unbearable as long as you're not a light sleeper.

Cons: The description of either full or double bed room wasn't explained properly on the website and I expected a Harbor View but received a Mountain View because they did not give me a double room on the harbor side for the price that I paid and wanted me to pay more for the the double bed on Harbour View which was not described in the website so me and my guest had to take the two twin beds and put them together to have one full bed and the beds were uncomfortable and very hard not being easy to sleep on. The description on the website said full or twin beds with no description on either mountain or Harbor View.

Pros: The location was right near the MTR.
Cons: The elevator took way too long every time. If i were to go down and an elevator floors above me was going down, would pass by my floor and not even stop before going all the way down. I don't get why it didn't stop by my floor before going all the way down. It took about like 15 mins just to get onto an elevator. The smell in the restroom has a stench the whole time during my stay. The room is very tiny, so make sure you don't bring big suitcases. The value for the hotel room, should have been cheaper for a stay like this. The bed was very stiff. The pillows weren't so comfortable. The gym is a really small tiny room. No point in using it.

Pros: Great location. Nice view from room. An option if you get a good deal and plan to be out all day. Would only recommend for short stays.
Cons: Room was so small it did not have any storage spaces, closet or room to open luggage. No desk and barely any room for toiletries by the sink. Initially, we were assigned to a room with two single beds, despite the fact that when we booked we picked an option that clearly stated double bed. They said that all rooms with "mountain view" have single beds and that we had to pay more to upgrade to "harbor view" if we wanted a double bed. After arguing for some time they moved us to a different room with a double bed. I think we got lucky in the end, with a nice guy in the reception, but frustrating nonetheless after a long travel.

Pros: The location was excellent. We used the MTR a lot and being so close to the stop was great for us. It was also close to the harbor and Soho which made exploring very easy. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The room was incredibly small, but in HK that is normal I suppose. The rooftop pool was closed. One of the reasons we booked was to take a picture from the roof so we were pretty bummed about it.

Pros: Easy access, on the H1 bus line for the Airport Express, getting to/from the airport could hardly be easier. The tram is a 90 second walk down Eastern street. There's a McDonald's a block away and a 7-11 across the street. The bed was fairly comfy and made up every day.
Cons: The room was TINY!!!! I would guess we had 2 feet on either side of the bed and maybe 2.5 feet at the foot. There is no closet or any other place to hang clothing. The tram and bus stops are near by, but the nearest MTR is a long long walk. The hotel does have a shuttle but due to road construction it dropped everyone at the Macau ferry terminal.

Pros: Room extremely small with just a small shower, no closest just couple of hanger on the wall, no table, no chair, no space for your suitcases, just enter and seat on the bed, you are like sleeping in the springs!

Pros: Staff some great English and seemed to want to be helpful despite nothing to work with.
Cons: I did international business travel staying at all levels of hotels for 30+ years. Unquestionably this is one of the worst hotel facilities I've ever endured. Despite having prepaid for three days, we left after one night. Here's a quick rundown of the deficiencies: few elevators for a lot of guests = long waits and full when they DO arrive. First room assigned on no smoking floor stunk badly of smoke. Bed was like an old ironing board with a thin pad. Room so small (and I'm used to small in London, NYC & Paris) you had to take turns moving about. Nearly half the room ammenities listed did not exist. Returning after dinner, the room drains had leaked a sewage smell into the room. Sink drained slowly. Shower small as a tight phone booth. I'm thin and while bending to wash my knees, I shut off the water valve, haha!

Cons: The mattresses were like they found the springs burnt out on the side if the road and threw a sheet over the top If I cannot trust best western to have a minimum standard for a mattress then I will not book them again, ever! My hip is bruised from the spring digging into it.... I got 3hours sleep total and the rest woken by pain, it's atrocious Breakfast was mostly poor quality Room was tiny, no desk, no where to put bags or clothes, and lifts were excruciatingly slow. So guess what, I never best western again, how would I know to ask if a mattress is fit for anything other than a farm animal? Not surprising that bookings are non refundable because we would have left immediately otherwise Your reputation just got smashed by saving peanuts on a half decent mattress

Pros: Price and location were ok just meters from Sai Yong Pun MTR.
Cons: Rooms old and drab, need makeover. Bed was the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on with springs pushing through. Exterior noise was bad. Could hear car horns even on 21st floor. Hallway noise. Despite having do not disturb manager knocked on my door waking me asking if I needed room cleaned.
