Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was in the perfect location of a view. We loved waking up and seeing the ocean every day. We were near everything but to a distance that it wasn't too much or crowded for us. A Luxury hotel for sure! If you rent a car they told us that they will park it in their garage for no charge - which was shocking. Everything for my crew was in walking distance that we wanted to do and if not we used a local taxi service - Charley's Taxi. The pool is even beautiful within itself. Overall impressed and will highly share with friends and family.
Cons: be aware there is no microwaves in the room, which was a bummer if we had leftovers from eating out somewhere. we had to remind the front desk twice about housekeeping not bringing towels - we understood from the busy arrivals of people so it wasn't a big deal and they immediately brought them up.
Good 7.0
Pros: Great Hotel, very nice infinity pool. Room views stunning (Club Level).
Cons: However, even though prices are back to pre COVID levels the housekeeping is not: no daily housekeeping (only upon request, otherwise every 3 days). One of my requests was answered by housekeeping with several „are you sure?“ replies and ended up unfulfilled.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: AMAZING
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I love the location to the harbor, beach, the mall and other shopping destinations. The pool was beautiful and the view from my room was spectacular.
Cons: There was a little damp smell/order coming from the floor near the bed. But it wasn't that bad but i did notice it.
Good 7.0
Cons: Water not good When I shower got dry hair. And food not too good.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location, beautiful view, very nice staff. This was our first post-Covid trip and the masking of the staff and guests made us feel safe.
Cons: No fault of the hotel, the Covid restrictions are strict. We did not expect that we would have to go through the QR code again. The staff was quite patient as we struggled to connect to the hotel Wi-Fi and get the code to show them.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel was amazing - the room was very clean and modern. The view was beautiful (we got 26th floor which helped). The free parking and one free breakfast was very valuable (depends on your package). I loved that we had free beach towels that we could take awAy and return daily.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Staff accomadate late check out
Cons: Balcony
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Incredible technology in the room! The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. The decor is nice and the amenity kit is great.
Cons: The room wasn’t dirty, but it wasn’t spotless either. We had to request items that were supposed to be part of our welcome package. Our room was not serviced until late afternoon.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Very clean & comfortable
Cons: Expensive
Excellent 8.5
Excellent 10.0
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everyone on the staff is super helpful and friendly. The rooms are immaculate and the view is amazing With the Renovation Discount it was about Half price maybe even less than half and absolutely an great value
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Whenever we asked for service, (maintenance, engineer, housekeeping), they came within 5 minutes.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: The hotel was under renovation but the staff was so amazing. It totally made our stay. Will surely stay in the future.
Good 6.8
Pros: The hotel is nice. The views are pretty. The staff were courteous and helpful. It's clean. The location downtown is close to most everything.
Cons: It's not on the beach, which isn't a deal breaker, but I wasn't feeling the "Hawaiian vibe". It just wasn't there. Everything closes super early, even the hotel bar and it's all sub par, nothing too fabulous. I guess the word I could use that would fit this hotel is generic. It's not holiday inn generic, but it's definitely not worth the price, the parking fees, or the resort fee. I didn't feel like I really fit in too well either. If you're a tourist to Hawaii and you'll barely spend time at the hotel, this is the one if you're willing to pay the price. I also didn't feel like I fit in here. If you're coming from Japan though, you'll fit right in.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Close to everything in Waikiki but not in the midst of the resorts
Cons: Dirty stain/spot on floor in bathroom next to tub was there every day even after cleaning. All else was nice.
Okay 5.1
Pros: The spa is awesome.
Cons: We spent 2 nights here, it doesn't worth the money. The hotel in Wakiki is generally expensive, but if you want a 4 star experience, choose hotels like Sheraton or Westin. Need to pay extra for wifi, parking, even water after first night. The room is quite small for a 4 star standard.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Out of waikiki, room views
Excellent 8.2
Pros: It is a fantastic facility. I enjoyed my stay
Cons: Nothing I didn't like

Okay 4.0
Pros: The lagoon was great! Water was always clean & refreshing temperature.
Cons: Room service not available, although housekeeping & bellhop come into your room. Although there are 5 pools on the property, they are always crowded & you can never find a chair, unless you are up at 8:00 am. If you want to enjoy the lagoon for the day, you need a chair & umbrella, however you need to RENT these at an EXTRA CHARGE! Chairs were like $15 each & the umbrella was $20…ridiculous!! In addition, they had a limited supply & ran out by 8:30-9:00am…frustrating!!! Restaurants on the property were all understaffed, not taking dinner reservations, & the wait for a table was 1 1/2-2 hours EVERY night! Needless to say, a sandwich & chips from the ABC Store served as dinner for more than one night. Limited number of elevators for the size of the hotel & very limited kitchen utensils for the larger suite. We definitely won’t be returning or recommending this property. Other than the lagoon, it has nothing going for it.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The location. Steps to the beach.
Cons: Too big, had 5 different towers and hard to navigate around.
Excellent 8.0
Cons: We had to ask them to clean the room several times before someone came up
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location, several great pools, and the beach!
Cons: All the prices in Hawaii are higher and they are higher inside the resort.

Good 7.0
Pros: I thought the staff were very nice and helpful
Cons: That there were hardly ever towels by the pool.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was close by and the neighbors where clean
Cons: The weather in Hawaii
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The staff here were absolutely fabulous. The room was spotless. Huge shoutout to the housekeepers here because they have a tough job with this place being so close to the beach and there’s not a speck of sand anywhere in this place. The location is just minutes from Waikiki and close enough to Hilton Village for shopping but just a little removed so it’s not quite as crowded. It’s a bit of a walk to the big shopping district but with the weather in Hawaii, it doesn’t feel like a burden unless you’re carrying stuff.
Cons: It was a bit dated but in a very Hawaii way. The bed was ultrafirm and I had a backache sleeping on it.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It's not as close to the beach as I imagined. The central part of Waikiki Beach is at least a twenty to thirty minute walk.
Cons: The hallways look plain and worn.
Okay 5.0
Pros: The fact that they held my luggage until it was time to catch our flight.
Cons: The room could’ve been better, better service
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location
Cons: Both elevators working
Excellent 10.0
Cons: Best value with everything you need. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Close to buses, restaurants and shopping. Would stay there again.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Greedy wouldn't let me out of the mistake reservation
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Staff was excellent. Keola at front desk was great. Doorman Sui was OUTSTANDING and a great help! Best value in Waikiki.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Free wifi, comfy bed and pillows, toiletries available.
Cons: No guaranteed early check in. Slow Computers in lobby. We tried leaving AC on while gone, but it turned off automatically leaving the room stuffy up our return.
Good 7.4
Pros: Close to everything, walking distance to lots of waikiki
Cons: Noisy at night
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Price
Cons: Dated
Good 6.8
Pros: Rooms are very clean comfortable and look to have been updated. Good location near the shopping
Cons: No view.

Good 6.0
Pros: Customer service, very lovely people, and low-key strictness of the COVID restrictions
Cons: The cleanliness of the room. We were told our room was ready, despite telling them to take their time since we came in a little early. I found stains on certain areas of the curtains and the ground. There was also a piece of peanut under the bed when we were settling in. Fridge didn't work at first, but started working out of nowhere after two and a half days of staying there--ended up wasting money on ice cream since it melted. We contacted the front desk, but they said maintenance wouldn't be able to come in until Monday. They did offer a new room, but was showed a room even more outdated, and a queen bed even though we got a king. The room itself was nice, but it wasn't what I expected. For 1,900 for 9 nights, the room felt small. I don't know, maybe I'm expecting too much. There are quite the sum of homeless people living around that area, but it's DOWNTOWN. It's just almost like every other downtown in other states.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The room had a great view with a stove washer and dryer and a nice fridge
Cons: I seen a roach and my man tried to kill it but it kid to where we couldn’t get to it.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Great view
Cons: Service once a week? Come on. I know Covid really changed things for a while, but you charged a ton for almost no rooms service. Hire some workers back and give them a job, so you can get back to normal Hotel services... And so more people can get back to work. Now you are just taking advantage.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Very little. Rooms are sizable and refrigerator works.
Cons: Dated hotel downtown. Feels like you're in a bad 80s movie.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was exactly as advertised. It was within eight minutes walking from my ultimate destination. Minutes from the pier and minutes from the beach. The staff was incredibly professional and honest! Room was sanitized and despite COVID-19 and their inability to enter the room until after check out, I had all that I needed and supplies were replenished.
Cons: I did not dislike the property. In general, our Nation’s homeless population.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Front desk staff was very helpful. Great view of the harbor.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Hot tub and pool
Excellent 9.1
Pros: We met up with Collins, whom we have known for a decade. He always takes good care of us!!
Cons: The parking arrangements.
Mediocre 2.8
Pros: If you are meeting for business around the area it's ok.
Cons: Unclean surroundings including hallways, elevators and surrounding area. Lobby is not well lighted, escalators were not all working, front desk clerks are lukewarm and unfriendly, parking is confusing, unsafe hallways as there was a big electric fan that was running and some contrstruction equipment right In front of the room we stayed in that was there the entire day without any sign, warning or precaution. Carpets have that musty and spoiled smell. I
Good 6.2
Pros: Right in downtown area. Puts the traveler right into everyday Honolulu.Comfortable and clean with a "killer" view of Honolulu harbor.
Cons: Clearly an older, but well maintained property
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect location for the St. Pattys block party in downtown Honolulu
Cons: Parking is $20 a night
Excellent 8.2
Pros: The room was spacious and very clean. It was quiet, which I s surprising, since it is downtown. Staff was polite, efficient and knowledgeable. Also got free parking!
Cons: The decor is a bit dated, and the building doesn't have balconies. It is on the expensive side. While it was a decent room, I wouldn't have paid the normal 214 a night rate.
Excellent 8.6
Pros: Comfortable, clean room with wifi, kitchenette, nice large tv and good cable. Very helpful staff, whirlpool tub, and I can't say enough about how well I slept on the bed it was more comfortable than my own. This hotel is close to som small restaurants mostly Asian and very good. The area around seems safe and I did not have any problems while out late for a walk but there are quite a few homeless around.
Cons: The Internet could be a bit faster, I had some streaming issues but no other problems or gripes.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: We were on 25th Floor very nice view of waikiki, room was very nice. Had everything we needed.
Cons: nothing!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location is perfect. Lots of restaurants and activities
Cons: They run out of towels fast.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: It’s location and the beds were very comfortable
Cons: Probably the price
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay. The views, shops, pools, lagoon, restaurants and bars. It was a dream vacation.
Cons: The mirrors in our room were dirty. There was hair all over the floors from the previous guests too. I swept it up best I could.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Great location! Just depressing seeing homeless on the beach ...
Excellent 8.5
Pros: At first was disappointed at not having an ocean view but ended up loving the "city" view - especially at night.
Cons: Too many children at every pool. They need an adult only pool or section of a pool. (And we were there during school - will be even worse when school is out).

Excellent 9.0
Pros: The view was beautiful. Good location.
Cons: No ice machines
Excellent 9.0
Pros: It was nice to stay at the iconic Ilikai until I settled until my new home. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Accommodations were great; loved having a kitchen. Bonus was the view from my lanai overlooking the Hilton lagoon and Kahanomoku beach.
Cons: It was as tourists returned to Waikiki - let the crazy times begin! Could have done without the yahoos yelling wahoo at night.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Rooms were comfortable and clean.. kitchen was very well furnished , the hotel is very close to the beach..overall good value for your money
Cons: There is no ice machine in the whole hotel.. we bought a bag of ice every morning to use.. it is cheap.. but I think the hotel could spare their guests of buying one , pretty sure they won't go broke if they won't sell a few extra bags of ice per day. The day we arrived there was a cherry (the fruit) on the floor on our way to our room.. the day we left (6 days later) the freaking cherry was still there at the very same spot.. despite of the hotel staff being there every morning to clean the common areas.. that makes me wonder if they miss a red cherry clearly displayed on the floor, how is the room cleaning process ? (picture) Our safebox stopped working and nobody showed up to fix it, despite 2 or 3 requests to do it.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: View, kitchen
Cons: None
Good 6.0
Pros: NEXT TO THE BEACH. GOOD VIEW FROM OUR ROOM OF THE OCEAN.
Cons: Room was outdated and had very few cooking supplies. No house keeping due to covid. Several nights people screaming/howling from balconies. Even though it is suppose to be a smoke free building, neighbor's frequently on balconies smoking cigarettes and Marijuana which led us to check our early and move to another hotel.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Our view. T
Cons: When we arrived at the hotel and received our keys to the room, we found the room was not clean, someone had tried to paint the bathroom door. Had not been swept from the last guest, cookie crumbles all over the carpet! not what we were expecting for the price we paid. close to Motel. We asked for our room to be changed and they gave us a lovely room on the 25th floor overlooking the marina. A spectacular view! The lobbies were very well maintained. The elevators looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for days! The employees were remarkably friendly. There was no room service. We had to sweep our room, ask for towels and bedding from the front desk. Rules for the COVID Virus were strictly enforced. The restaurant was opened one week before we arrived.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The location is great. The staff was very friendly. Close walk to beach, lagoon, and harbor.
Cons: The on-site restaurants were closed due to covid. The hotel could use a bit of updating.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Every Friday evening is Hawaii/Lua dance and singing group is performing courtyard for free and very entertaining. Every Tuesday, $2 for ice cream shop and very popular place. Also, every Thursday and Tuesday is some music performance at pool area too. We really loved it and the valet parking is fast and friendly.

Okay 5.0
Pros: This is my 2nd time stay at this hotel. Good location for shopping, dining & transportation. The room is clean. Free wifi.
Cons: The bedding, shower head and the water drain are terrible. Not enough outlet to charge our electronic devices. The store at lobby is always closed so we have to walk miles away to buy drinks no matter what time during the day.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Needs to walk thru the department store in order to get into the mall, and having a hard time when not within store hours
Cons: Not clean, beds are not comfortable
Excellent 10.0
Pros: My stay at Hotel Molokai was great! All of the staff were friendly, helpful and warm. The manager, Sonya, personally assisted me with a last minute change with my reservation with no problems. Hotel Molokai is a special magical place where the rooms and grounds are well maintained and beautiful. It’s a place I wanted to keep to myself but wanted to write a review for them. I am already booked for next year! A Big Mahalo Hotel Molokai for taking care of us! See you next year. Angelique
Poor 1.0
Pros: Ala Moana, room 551 Honolulu.
Cons: Once I arrived, we found out that because we had a layover we where not clear from COVID from the other Island. So of course the front desk lady had no idea who we should call so that we can resolve it. But she kept stating this always happens. ( red flag one). Them one we figured it out on our own. She then stated she was going to gives us an up graded on our room because owners was not ready. Up grade terrible, the entire 7 days we where never able to open our sliding door for at least sun shine because the Macys customer could see directly into my room.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful hotel, great food and incredible service all around. Limited parking but great hotel overall. Great daytime environment.
Cons: Beautiful hotel and environment during the day but it isn't the safest area to be at night. There isn't many places to go and eat at night within walking distance. The views of the beach and marina are incredible but I wouldn't go walking around at night.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Good location
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Easy check in, some of the best staff we’ve encountered. Didn’t realize how much we’d like having the mall so close but it was super convenient for last minute purchases. Even better was the wall to the beach.
Cons: Room size. Also wish they had more late night delivery options since they don’t have room service.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Connected to Ala Moana Center
Okay 4.5
Pros: Room was clean
Cons: The room was overpriced No room service Breakfast was shocking and expensive
Okay 4.7
Mediocre 2.8
Pros: Starbucks in the building
Cons: Everything needs to be cleaned and updated. The rooms are way too small.
Excellent 10.0
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Super early check in at 7am for an extra $16 includes breakfast - well worth it
Cons: Bigger bed but apart from that it was great - it’s not 5star hotel but it was a lovely stay
Excellent 10.0
Good 6.0
Pros: Hotel is right next to Ala Moana mall making it so easy to do shopping and eating.
Cons: I ended up having to upgrade to a 2 beds room with an extra $49 per night. Kayak description is very misleading when it labels DOUBLE Mountain View when double means 2 people but not double beds! Bathroom is not acceptable as the water faucet is so outdated with only 1 turn knob to control hot/cold and water volume
Mediocre 2.0
Cons: Had to check out early because their AC broke. The woman I spoke with (shyla or something like that) was incredibly rude. Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.
Excellent 8.7
Okay 4.8
Pros: The location was super close to everywhere I needed to go
Cons: They gave us a corner room 3rd floor which was so tiny couldn’t even turn a 360 in the hallway it was so narrow .. the sliding glass door won’t open more then 2 inches with no balcony .. why even have a sliding glass door if you have it locked like that? Said it was a queen and pull out couch but it was a pull out chair. No napkins or tissues only toilet paper. It also took a full hour to check in, dragging luggage on a line for an hour is insane for Hawai’i, this isn’t Vegas. There was 2 open computers if you get this busy at 4-5pm for check in you should be prepared and have a full staff.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: The hotel is conveniently located near the beach, next to the mall, and an easy drive to town or the freeway to the countryside.
Cons: Daily parking charges! I feel like hotels that charge for parking are like airlines that charge you for food—crazy!
Good 6.2
Pros: The room was nice, needs better lighting.
Cons: Room was to dark, needs brighter lighting. The rooms need updating, it's showing it's age.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Adjacent to the Ala Moana Mall and dining places. Short walking distance to the Hawaii Convention Center. Starbucks and reasonably price convenient store in the facility. Micro wave and refrigerator availability in the unit.
Cons: Noise from the heavy machinery at the construction site just outside the window/patio door is constant in the day time. Computer use and printing is too costly for guest.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very close to Ala Moana shopping center and very clean rooms
Cons: Rooms were kind of small when you look at it. Its perfect for 1 person but probably not for 2 people
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great staff. Great location.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Clean modern hotel
Cons: It's a ways from Waikiki beach
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very convenient to Ala Moana Shopping Center
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Convenient location. Good service. Reasonable price. Jean, Kate and Cathy are the wonderful people who work there and make my stay a very nice experience!
Good 6.0
Cons: Tiny tiny tiny rooms. Not even a desk chair.
Good 7.7
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. Like that there was a Starbucks located inside the hotel.
Cons: Had a disco there, which is fine for singles, but not too friendly with family with young children. The patrons were a little loud and there was a large crowd outside trying to get in.
Good 7.4
Pros: Great location if you want to be walking distance from the Ala Moana Shopping Mall
Cons: Woke up early to machinery noise, this may have be temporary
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Nothing at all
Cons: The staff, the price also we waited in line to check in for over an hour.
Good 6.0
Pros: Near beach and mall
Cons: owned by private owner, but not revealed until check in. bathtub drain clogged while taking a shower - standing in 2/3 inches of water, could not shut water off completely after taking a shower; wall lamp was broken, hanging to the left, did not turn on; clock/radio could not be reset; after hours, so no maintenance available until the next day. deceptive practice booking a room at Ala Moana hotel and finding out at check in it was privately owned. It would not have mattered if the room had been checked to ensure it was ready for occupancy. the room was booked four months in advance, so very disappointing.

Good 6.0
Pros: Near the business an leisure areas
Cons: Some parts of the rooms are old and rusty not well maintained
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very stylish. Would definitely go back! Staff was supper accommodating!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Near everything
Cons: No ocean view.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent pool and bar, with great nightlife DJ’s and vibe. Beautiful rooms with nice balcony. Good location w access to local surf spot. Great place for adults.
Cons: Have to find free parking or pay in lot (minor complaint)
Good 7.0
Pros: Great location, end of bay beginning of Waikiki beach. Overall enjoyed our two night city stop over. Staff were helpful, and super friendly. Nice room and the pool deck was great.
Cons: Windows are single panels, so you can hear street traffic. Bed was a little harder than my personal preference and there was no bed covers. I think this is maybe because it is summer, but one night it actually got cold mid night. Our last night they had a music set between 5pm and 7pm at the pool deck. IThe music was very inappropriate with lots of foul language and explicit content. Looked like they were trying to cater for a frat party. There were loads of families and children swimming. I was hugely disappointed that Diamond resorts would do this in an environment that is catering for all ages. There is so much great music, playing explicit content In broad daylight in a venue open to families is wrong. For this reason I am hesitant to book with this resort again.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Pool area and the room were great.
Cons: Staff tried to promote Diamond Resort Club a lot
Good 7.0
Pros: The staff really are something special here. We had visited back in 2016 and ran into some old friends, so that was truly special. The staff went out of their way to ensure our experience was as good as it could be during COVID. While we had a few setbacks at first, in terms of quality of service, the entire staff stepped up to make sure the rest of our stay was fantastic. Courtney at the front desk is incredible. She made sure every issue we brought up was given prompt attention. Bronson at the pool is an absolute legend. Jaime, Chris and Derek at The Grove are absolutely wonderful and Harry and Bryan out at the pool bar are fantastic. A big thank you to Lani for helping with our door. I will say the staff made all the difference here. Management had a mid-week check-in with us which was really nice. We were able to give open and honest feedback, which allowed management a chance to improve our stay. The Ritz Carlton has never done this for us. The food at The Grove was pretty flavorful, but the pricing and minimal selection had us off and exploring for other options, but that's fine because we love adventures and trying new things. The (adults only) Sunset Pool is an amazing oasis just upstairs from the main pool. $50 food/drink spend at the pool bar for a cabana for the day is a great deal, so we spent our first entire day doing this. The music up there is chill, and the pool is really relaxing and private. I will say that had the staff and management not been as great, we would have left and were ready to reaccomodate ourselves at The Ritz. BONUS: Ask the staff for some of their favorite restaurant recommendations, this experience will not disappoint.
Cons: The constant trash in the room hallways is just not acceptable. I understand that the hotel doesn't wish to send their housekeepers into rooms everyday, but there has to be a better solution than to let trash sit outside people's hotel rooms for hours with no system in place to prevent this from happening. We were also relying on the hotel to have our laundry done two days before departure, but found out there that they aren't offering it. This was a big inconvenience, and had we known before coming we would have packed differently. It seemed like there was a disappointment around every corner. If this had been advertised as an "Eco resort" I'd give it a 10/10, but we have stayed at The Modern before and it didn't even meet our basic expectations outside of the service staff, which blew us away with great personalized service. The pool and common areas are kept very clean (ex-room corridors; per above) but the hotel rooms are starting to show some wear. They were supposed to renovate in 2020, but as you can imagine that did not happen, although there are said to be plans for a renovation later this year per several staff. Pool bar opening at 11:30am and closing at 7pm is just unfortunate. There were often times we wished we could have just ordered breakfast and a Blood Mary in the morning but were unable. And after dinner it would have been nice to have a nightcap by the pool. I think 8:30am to 9:30pm would be perfect, or even 9-to-9. We miss the little touches at the Modern, such as fresh flowers on the bed at arrival and the chocolates during turndown service. The vibe at The Study Bar is so hip, but as it sits unopened and empty, it's a rather depressing sight. As COVID cases decline, I hope The Modern reopens how they used to operate sooner rather than later, otherwise they risk being a forgettable hotel and not a classy resort as we know they can be and have been.
Okay 4.0
Pros: The pool and Cassandra was amazing.
Cons: 1) Please update your rooms, everything is falling apart. 2) The $40.00 per day resort fee is excessive when you don’t offer room service for an entire 7 day stay not feature and dining options at night. 3) Offering a “free gift” which is basically your way to convince people to buy a time share is unnecessary. 4) Please train Courtney to be more friendly and how to treat customers. Without customers she would have no job.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Comfortable bed, great location- close to shops, beach, marina and restaurants
Excellent 10.0
Excellent 10.0
Excellent 8.8
Cons: I will never book through Kayak again. I accidentally booked my hotel for one night too long. I didn’t realize this until checking in. Even though the hotel said they would not charge for the extra night because I clearly wasn’t staying there, Kayak refused to work with the partner to refund me. This was an incredibly frustrating customer service experience.
Excellent 10.0
Excellent 9.4
Pros: I liked that the hotel was located near the harbor. A short 1 mile walk form downtown Waikiki and not too crowded with many surrounding hotels. Definitely an adult resort, although I did see a few kids. Staff was super friendly, views of the marina and ocean were great. Access to the beach just a short walk although from beaches on O'ahu this was the worst strip of ocean I visited. I'd suggest staying here and enjoying the beach elsewhere. Liked the details of the ukulele, sea shells and sarongs as décor. Room was ready early. Room was quiet and simply decorated with all white giving a feel of space. Clothes line in the shower for wet swimsuits was a plus!
Cons: The hallways were VERY dark and room numbers a bit tricky to see. Valet parking only at $35/day.
Okay 4.0
Pros: The view was beautiful, valet staff were great.
Cons: Resort fee not presented at check in, expensive parking. Staff very unaccomodating for early check in. Asked us to call multiple times throughout the week, up to the actual 3pm check in time which we were asked to wait for our room anyways, while others in line after us were getting their room keys. A double room was booked via Kayak but wasn't available at check in so we were given an "upgraded" suite with a sofa bed. The mattress pad was stained with urine and the linens were not the cleanest. The furniture is all white so stains were noticeable on the pillows. Felt very dirty. Very disappointed in the service of this hotel under their new mainland management.
Okay 4.8
Pros: The location was great
Cons: This property was aquired by diamond resorts and is the next step in scamming a new demographic. https://www.thestreet.com/story/13624491/1/is-apollo-returning-to-its-junk-roots-with-its-acquisition-of-diamond-resorts.html
Excellent 10.0
Excellent 10.0
Pros: From the incredible concierge and front desk staff to the warm service and incredible food poolside to the ultra-luxury modern (but not in a cheesy, cheap way) rooms that were comfortable and expertly furnished they did not miss a spot. I would recommend it as the #1 hotel in Honolulu hands down
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Staff helpful though it did take half hour to find the reservation. Clean and extra nice room. Primo location
Cons: Very pricey even for Waikiki. Extra loud bar area
Excellent 9.7
Pros: The Modern is off the beaten trail and appreciated how relaxing the atmosphere was. The pool area is beautiful and calm, and if you need to relax further the sunset pool is just the ticket. All restaurants and bars are excellent in the Modern too.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff was excellent
Cons: Beds could have been more comfortable
Good 7.1
Pros: Beautiful hotel. Study bar is nice with good cocktails, rooms are nice and housekeeping is good. Difficult to find space at pools and they don't have chairs on the beach. During peak times like Christmas / NY it makes it tough to secure space. Service at the restaurant by the pool was very slow. Painfully slow... I would return but challenged to stay there again @ $500/ night unless everything is perfect.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Love it. Honolulu is known for old resorts and hotels. Modern's building isnt really new, however, all the internals have been renovated so that it feels "modern". Great stay for young hip couples.
Cons: Parking is a little expensive. $35 and they charge you everything you get your car in and out. Other than that, we had an awesome experience.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I love everything about The Modern Really cool friendly atmosphere, all the staff are super nice. The room is very clean, modern, crisp, has pretty of room. Our partial view room had a nice balcony and as suggest had views to the left of the water. Great TV and selection of channels, coffee maker. Very well sound proofed Bathroom is large, great shower. Room service is fantastic, actually its the same menu available in the pool area, perfectly prepared and very high quality. The pool areas and bars are amazing The is away from the Main part of Waikiki, overlooking the marina, making it less busy and more relaxing Do yourself a favour and book in
Cons: Not sure, maybe the bed is a little firm. Just being picky

Good 6.0
Pros: Friendly staff and proximity to the airport
Cons: They claim 24/7 airport shuttle but it doesn’t start until 7am. We had an early flight and ended up walking to the airport because taxis were limited. Thin walls between rooms and we were given two queens instead of one king (which was fine but not what we reserved.)
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Blaming the pandemic to gouge people is wrong. Corporate executives should wear shirts identifying themselves in public so that we can spit on them.
Cons: Blaming the pandemic to gouge people is wrong. Corporate executives should wear shirts identifying themselves in public so that we can spit on them.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location
Cons: People loud by the pool.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Convenient location, very close to the airport.
Cons: Room had a king bed and sleeper sofa. When we went to open sleeper sofa there were no linens, nowhere in the room. Had to call front desk 3 times before they finally brought them to our room.
Good 7.0
Pros: Near airport
Cons: Staff wasn’t friendly. Shuttle to airport not available
Okay 5.1
Pros: Shuttle service was friendly and efficient, rooms were in reasonably good condition and looked clean
Cons: Late in the evening we noticed MULTIPLE small cockroaches emerging from under the bed, leading to a sleepless night. Reception did not appear surprised at all when this was reported the next morning.
Okay 5.1
Cons: $30 Parking charge is excessive. Rooms are dated and overpriced. Major battle with a guest at the front desk with police called to evict him. He was out of line but still a really uncomfortable situation.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: Parking too expensive!!!!!!
Excellent 8.2
Cons: Close to airport, free shuttle
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Great place to stay when you need to catch a flight out of the Honolulu airport - very close with a 24x7 shuttle service.
Good 7.7
Pros: Convenient to airport, free shuttle, friendly staff, clean rooms
Cons: Few food choices in area, traffic noise
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fast easy check in. Clean room. I stay here a few times each year. Its convenient. Never used any of the amenities besides the bed.
Cons: Parking should be free with room but it's not
Good 6.2
Pros: I was only there overnight and at that it was a short night. In general the accommodations were adequate although there was a long walk to the room and some inconvenience since it was in a separate building.
Cons: Check in seemed very slow.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was very clean and close to air port and close to Pearl Harbor we were at the end of our vacation and only had one day before catching our plane so it was very convenient. Everything about the room and lobby was nice.
Cons: We arrived at 2:30 just off a flight and the restaurant was closed. And in the evenings it was only open certain days so you had to go a block down the street for dinner. Both places were closed for lunch.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Having stayed at three Honolulu Airport hotels for business purposes, this is clearly the best choice. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The restaurant is open daily. The gift shop is well stocked and large. Transportation to and from the airport is excellent.
Cons: I found little to dislike about my stay.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Clean room and beds
Cons: Airport Shuttle took over an hour to pick us up from airport. Hotel is old and walk to the rooms is very long.

Pros: If you’re looking for a decent place to stay in Honolulu and not pay an arm and leg, this would be it. Hotel was clean and staff was very nice. Location is centralized and close to the airport, so beneficial if you plan on traversing the island. Loved that they offered airport shuttle, breakfast, and covered garage parking. The downside is the bed was not very comfortable and disappointed that they charged me $75 for a late check out. Overall, I would recommend and I would stay here again!

Mediocre 2.0
Pros: I had the take out package as I left at 6am
Cons: The price a little hugh. However the location, shuttle, room and staff were great.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Access to the parking garage great
Cons: Visitors hanging out outside door customer service window open but no one was assigned
Good 6.0
Pros: Good for an overnight layover stay. Really hard to tell how it would be in normal times as we travelled when the covid restrictions were still in place.
Cons: We needed the extra rollway bed. Our child was not comfortable on that bed due to springs pressing through.
Good 7.0
Pros: Nice friendly staffs!
Cons: Washing machine was pretty expensive.. parking wasn’t free for the guest..
Excellent 10.0
Pros: <3 minutes from airport, free shuttle every hour, taxi $8, Free grab n go breakfast 7-9,Swimming pool . Coffee maker, iron, hair dryer....
Cons: N/A
Excellent 10.0
Pros: the room is nice I wanted to have a lanai though next time we booked hopefully we get the second floor with lanai
Cons: closed restaurantfor lunch and dinner… so instead of staying inside the hotel we need to go out to eat
Good 7.4
Pros: Most things were decent.
Cons: The hotel is only 1 mile from the airport. That's why we picked it. So we could sleep and get on our next airplane the next morning with as little hassle as possible. After I called the hotel it took well over 30 minutes for the shuttle to show up. That is a long time after a long flight while standing in the heat with small children on a median between 2 roads. Another couple was waiting for our same shuttle and they said they were there over an hour. Morning shuttle was great but the pick up from the airport was way too slow considering its only a mile. For the price we paid it would have been nice to get a free breakfast. It's an airport hotel. That should be standard in my mind.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was very freindly and helpful. The shuttle driver drove us to and from the airport and was helpful and friendly. We stayed for only a day on vacation. The next day we were traveling to another island. We didn't want to take our luggage site seeing so they held onto our luggage for no charge. I will definitely be staying there again.
Good 6.0
Pros: No problem with the front desk staff. That's about it
Cons: The heater and bathroom fan didn't work and they never came to fix it after saying they would. The bathroom tub was rusty.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Free airport shuttle
Cons: Rude staff. Not worth the money. Loud traffic. Really ugly area.
Mediocre 2.6
Cons: Ac was bad

Excellent 9.0
Pros: I stayed before and after the reopening of the floating restaurant that is attached and is hands down a different vibe and atmosphere with and without connecting restaurant. Not only having really good local food but at a great price as well. As a side bonus if you want you can get fish food from front desk if you have kiddos or kids at heart who may want to feed the koi fish that swim around perimeter of restaurant. All in all 9 out of 10 with restaurant now open. Whereas prior it was a 6 or 7. Overall wonderful experience.
Cons: No ice machine or other amenities due to COVID even though being charged for some if not all of them if they lowered the fee it would be understandable.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Both location and room
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The daily room rate was good. The location is very central. The renovations to the rooms are comfortable.
Cons: The amenity package ($18/day). Mainly purchased for the internet but if staying more than a day, kind of pricey.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: This hotel was great for me because I am not the type pf person who wants to spend all my vacation doing everything linked to the hotel. So resorts are not one of my favorite places to stay. I am also not very much of a beach goer. In fact, I don't even know how far it was from the beach. I loved that it has an old time feel to it. It's not flashy, but nice and homey. And has the laid back welcoming attitude that the islands are renowned for. Like going to your favorite middle class relatives' house just to hang around. Just note that, if you are in a hurry this is probably not the place to stay. I especially loved the Japanese garden setting of the courtyard that the Pagoda Restaurant shares with this hotel and the Koi pond! So many Koi!
Cons: Along with the Hawaiian home feel and the more reasonable price point of the room, comes some side effects. The maintenance of the facility is also like your favorite middle working class relatives' house. Expect older fixtures and older style furniture in the room with repairs that keep the place functional but not necessarily the best they can be. It also was kind of hard to communicate with the front desk in person because of the COCIV precautions that every one in dealing with.
Okay 4.0
Cons: The bathrooms were horrible. Crazy small showers. You can tell it’s old and not well kept
Okay 4.0
Pros: Koi pond was beautiful
Cons: Bathroom in room was dirty, location wasn’t what we expected, restaurant closed had to make reservation to use pool which is very small
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The property is an older hotel, remodeled nicely and very clean! The bed was very comfortable and the room was very quite considering it was just across from the entrance and elevator..
Cons: The only thing I didn’t like was having to get an appointment to use the pool, understandably so due to covid, but with the very nice beach in walking distance it didn’t really matter.
Good 7.0
Pros: Solid location with parking readily available in a parking garage
Cons: Elevator card scanner would be a hit or miss.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: All You Can Eat Breakfast buffet for $9.95 is cheaper than ordering ala carte even at any nearby eateries. i love fried rice for brekky. Way Cheaper than Alamoana Hotel that is connected to Alamoana Center, Pagoda is only three blocks to Alamoana Center, but half a block to Walmart, Sam’s Club and Don Quixote. We chose Pagoda because it is near shopping, eateries and $2.50 The Bus all across island.
Cons: For the very cheap price, you adjust your comfort for the steal of a deal. Nothing you could have done better except lower price even more.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Friendly Staff, Clean Room.
Cons: pool closed, dvd machine broken, had to wear earplugs because of noisy A/C unit. Parking is confusing and hard.
Good 6.5
Good 7.7
Pros: OK. This is for the traveler/family on a budget. We had to unexpectedly stay in Honolulu for an extra day and we were able to get a room for about $130/night. They gave out fish food to feed the Koi. The kids and adults liked that. Small store in the lobby that sold water that didn't cost an arm and a leg. They had a kiosk where you could check out movies (for free). Had to use the card key to operate the elevator. I liked that extra measure of security.
Cons: The door was incredibly heavy. If my daughter was in the room alone and a fire broke out, she would have been toast. The bathtub was in terrible shape. Not in the greatest area, but we never felt scared. Not very much on site parking for free, but a parking structure across the street. The rooms and decor are from the 70's. This is not a 5 star hotel, but very acceptable. If you want to be in downtown Honolulu and are a budget-this is a very reasonable option.
Good 6.2
Pros: great location, friendly customer service, ample parking (for $10), wifi included in room, free movie during stay, two refrigerators, great water pressure, beds were comfy- not super hard, but not stiff, there's hot water! :)
Cons: the air conditioner leaked in the room, the stove was great- 2 coil burners, but there was not that much room to put a dish dryer/strainer, the shower head is out of the wall and rusty, the drain in the shower took a long time to drain water.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: the room was ok.
Cons: difficulty checking in. Mom paid for room using her credit card, and hotel staff insisted that I give them the card, which I did not have on me. Very frustrating. We were about to leave, when the manager relented. Totally unnecessary. Ruined our evening.
Excellent 8.6
Pros: The staff were very friendly. Loved its location, everything was walking distance. And that the room had a lot of conveniences like the coffee maker, toaster, microwave and fridge.
Cons: That the Wifi wasn't free. Would have been nice if it was included with the room.
Okay 4.0
Pros: It was a cheap place to sleep for the night.
Cons: That place needs to be renovated.
Mediocre 3.0
Cons: When I arrived there, the front told me the hotel records did not show my data and kept me waiting for mre than an hour. It is badically local only hotel and tourist shall avoid it.
Good 6.0
Pros: Beautiful restaurant and Koi Pond.
Cons: The room was old looking (not modern at all).

Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The internet was pretty solid. Free parking for first vehicle, only $10 for additional.
Cons: Room was technically clean but was in such need of repairs, maintenance and paint job it was hard to tell it was clean. No walkable attractions. Bed configurations on Booking don't match what they actually have. ACs are very loud and struggle to keep up with heat. The TVs are a janky wiring mess that have to be a fire hazard. When the TV is on the. The walls and floors are so bare that the TVs sound like they ate in an echo chamber when they are on.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Shuttle service to and from the airport
Cons: Very old rooms. Outdated and completely worn out. Very loud. With 2 queen beds the room was simply too small.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Close to the airport.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: location
Cons: the sign said 24 hour shuttle service, however, was informed , late, that it did not start until 5:30 am, this resulted in change on travel plans
Poor 1.0
Pros: Its was clean
Cons: One of the staff came in at 4am knocked 4 times then open our door🤬
Good 6.0
Pros: The front desk lady was nice had alittle problem with my card so she help me with that.Had a nice cup of hot coffee free on the house.
Cons: There was no conditioner in container(empty) The controller for the TV no batteries/went down stairs the lady gave me wrong size batteries so had to walk back down. Ac unit no controller had a hard time reaching unit. TV only couple channels worked Telephone didnt work so had to walk downstairs a couple of times The snack shop closes so early why? Other then that had a very pleasant stay. :0)
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Truly nothing fancy, but the staff was so kind and accommodating. It’s right next to the airport located in an industrial area, but it beats the prices of downtown. Worth the stay if you’re on a budget.
Cons: Update the rooms would be nice.
Mediocre 3.4
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The hotel was in terrible shape. Paint peeling off the walls in the room. Exterior need cleaning and painting. The iron railing on the balcony around the building was heavily rusted and need repairing and painting
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Great location near airport, nice pool and fire pit. They did ask for money at check in for amenities.
Okay 5.4
Pros: The ac unit worked :)
Cons: Parking was small n the towels were taken n not replaced
Good 6.5
Cons: Older, needs update
Good 6.0
Pros: Near the airport. We arrived at 1:00am. Got right in. Desk agent not overly friendly, but competent. I thought breakfast was included, but it wasn't.
Cons: Restaurant closed. Tiny room. Queen sized beds only. Hotel is quite old.
Good 6.5
Pros: Great location for overnight at the airport with a regular shuttle service
Cons: Very basic, limited services
Mediocre 3.1
Cons: Room was small and needs refurbishing. Parking lot was immediately outside the room door, so lots of people and car noise. A poolside room would have been better.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Close to the Airport and Clean
Cons: Look dated, everything looks really old.
Okay 4.8
Pros: Nearby Lagoon Chinese restaurant was really good. Hawaiian Coffee Co. cafe only a short walk from hotel had the best coffee around. Distance to airport was great.
Cons: While this hotel is priced less than most everything else in the area, the cost is still WAY above its actual value. Rooms were mediocre, bed not particularly comfortable, and Wifi NEVER worked.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Room too small
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Tiny room with paper thin walls. Disgusting smell, location in "condemned warehouse" section of Honolulu. Sink clogged from the start, sheets stained, hair in shower, etc...
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Great attentive staff, classic older motel with courtyard pool. Not a destination hotel; but perfect for airport layover. Free shuttle to airport on the half hour; 24 hrs a day.
Cons: Industrial neighborhood.
Good 7.4
Pros: We needed a hotel for an early morning flight. They offer free shuttle service so that's convenient. I would recommend it for your quick stays near the airport.
Cons: Dated, small rooms
Excellent 8.8
Pros: great shuttle to airport restaurant economical with large portions staff efficient and friendly economical
Good 6.5
Pros: If you get in late and are leaving early for other islands next morning this place works. Pretty bare bones in a kind of light industrial area.
Cons: Staff were great really. Bar near lobby was quite noisy, we were put in a room as far from the bar as possible. Noise was not a problem, thanks guys.
Good 7.7
Pros: We were looking for a hotel close to the airport since we arrived in at midnight. The check in office is open 24 hours, which was very nice. The hotel was basically supposed to be a crash pad for us and that's essentially what this hotel was set up to be. It had basic amenities, wasn't super spacious, but it had a mini fridge and a bed.
Cons: The walls were paper thin do you could literally hear everything in the other rooms, who in made sleeping difficult when other guests started waking up. The room was pretty small.
Okay 5.7
Pros: Airport shuttle was convenient, otherwise average and did the job for one night
Good 6.8
Pros: Close to HNL
Cons: Ok for my purposes
Okay 4.5
Pros: Closer to airport.
Cons: Pricy for a room, nothing on walking distance
Good 6.2
Pros: The location was good if you need a quick place to stay during a layover and close enough to see Pearl Harbor. Great pressure for the shower.
Cons: The wifi was terribly slow. Just an ok bed with no extra pillows and blankets. It's close to the airport, so be prepared for airport noise.
Okay 5.4
Pros: Staff were so nice and friendly
Cons: Felt unsafe
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Rooms are small but clean and staff friendly. Restaurant and bar are on property. Best feature close to airport and reliable shuttle service. I'll stay there again
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It was exactly what I needed - close to airport, 24hr front desk and an airport shuttle. It's no 5 star hotel but you don't pay for that either - it was the cheapest hotel by far and great value for money in terms of an airport hotel staying only one night. The pool was really nice and a nice area to sit and relax. Tea and coffee provided while waiting for the shuttle in the morning was great. Staff were nice
Cons: I Used their contact us form to let them know in advance of my flight details and ask about the shuttle and they never responded. So I didn't realise you need to call them (from the free airport phone) for pick up which meant I had to wait until I realised this. Not a big deal tho but
Okay 4.5
Pros: The goods: Proximity to HNL, shuttle service, price, cold AC and fans in the rooms. It's fine for what it is - a cheap airport motel (but we recommend the Airport Honolulu Hotel instead, much nicer for a few bucks more).
Cons: Didn't like: bathroom tile was gross - felt like I needed shower shoes, no elevator for second floor room, shuttle was slow, old furniture, not all outlets in the room worked.
Good 6.0
Pros: Closeness to the airport and staff very friendly
Cons: Small beds, rooms need updating, need bathrooms for pool users
Good 7.7
Pros: Shuttle service. Clean. Staff.
Cons: Pretty old.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Not there long enough, only there for 7 hours.

Good 7.0
Pros: I stay in Honolulu 1 week/month and have spent most of it at the Ala Moana. The location is perfect for me because it's about a mile from work. It is quiet at night, clean and staff are very helpful.
Cons: 1. Mandatory 'resort fee' for services I am unable to use. 2. Increasing room rates - inevitable, but still unpleasant, especially for Kama'aina.
Okay 5.0
Pros: It was a 5 minute walk to the beach and right next to the shopping center. Where there is restaurants and stores at easy access. Parking was $30 a night where others was $80. Overall the hotel itself was nice. If I were to stay at this hotel again, I would probably book with the hotel.
Cons: With booking with booking.com its a private managed suit, so it extra for cleaning. Luckily the staff was nice to give us extra trash bags and pick up our trash. However whoever is in charge of flipping the room after the room is used did a poor job. There was a broken lap. Some weird dark stuff in the corner and the sheets were not properly cleaned. I had to wash them just in case in the hotel washer. We also requested for a king bed and got two full beds. Which worked in our favor and out room was a t tad bigger.
Good 7.0
Pros: The hotel is in a primal area. It's in Waikiki which is the downtown area. It's right next to the mall, which is huge. The food court is amazing and so many varieties of food. The hotel has a very nice pool that you can sit and enjoy the sun in. There gym was also nice. I did have a room with an ocean view as stated when I first booked, so that was cool.
Cons: Since I booked the hotel through this app, there was no breakfast included, couldn't check in until 4 pm, and had to pay for parking as well because I booked the hotel through this site. I had requested 2 separate beds and instead it was a full size bed for 2 people. I called the hotel to request an airport shuttle and they don't have one according to the lady at the front desk I spoke too.
Good 7.0
Pros: The room was very much like a regular hotel room with two beds. The decor was dated but nice. There was a little frig and microwave, coffee maker. One plate, one bowl, two drink glasses, two coffee cups, and one wine glass. The small balcony had a glass table and two chairs and an awesome view.
Cons: The toilet stopped working on my 2nd day - the water just didn't fill up in the tank so it wouldn't flush. I called it in and within a couple hours, a very nice gentleman came to fix it - and he fixed the slow-draining sink and he put in a light bulb into one of the bathroom sconces so it wasn't so dark. It would have been nice to have dishes and flatware and matching glasses. At least 2 of everything.
Good 7.0
Pros: Convenient
Cons: Paying for parking
Okay 5.0
Pros: Good location. Staff was great. Parking was great. Good AC unit. Was good that there was a micro, TV, and fridge.
Cons: The toilet leaked all day and night. The shower backed up when water was coming out from faucet. Water pressure was good from faucet in shower but when the shower was turned on the water pressure was not good from shower head. The chairs were dirty. Pillows were small.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Bathroom was very nice, it had a big size Tub. Bed was very comfortable and nice. The balcony was worth the price, it was beautiful sit there with my girlfriend and enjoy the view.
Cons: Nothing
Good 7.0
Pros: Location. The view is great.Nice staff
Cons: The floor was dirty and dusty. The decorated dark blue pillows had white stains, which is unsanitary and scary. I paid $30 for parking fee for just a day and yet got a ticket.Imagine staying for a week for parking and plus the cost of an extended length of stay.
Excellent 9.4
Cons: Didn’t know we wouldn’t have any service unless requested during daytime hours. Not run by hotel
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Nothing - confirmation number from kayak not processes by Lsi, no reservation upon arrival . Had to book my own room with the hotel at twice the price.
Cons: Not using or recommending Lsi resorts to friends
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Daily housekeeping!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Comfortable room, good beds, nice view.
Cons: Bath sink didn't drain, called but no one showed up to fix . TV remote useless, had to "channel up/down" always. Couldn't just enter channel number. Maid service doesn't get to the room till 3:30/4:00 PM. No room service available. $4 to call from room to a cell with a different area code.

Poor 1.0
Pros: Terrible customer service I paid for 3 nights they took my money and did not check me in or answer any of my calls worst experience ive ever had!
Cons: Everything
Poor 1.0
Pros: The view and Location is awesome, 10 minutes walk to the Mall, Beach, it’s on the bus line. The Management via text is fast to assist.
Cons: The room and bathroom was dirty as hell, furniture broken and dated.TV was broken but I don’t watch tv apart from the news. Someone tried to sell me drugs when I was doing laundry and he was trying to pimp his girlfriend also. Some shady characters linger around the door and try to piggy back off your swipe but I don’t let anyone in. Only 1 elevator working for 40 floors. Best tip: Bring cleaning supplies so you can clean it yourself so you can rest assured that everything is cleaned and sanitized.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Online management team and the ocean view.
Cons: There’s no front desk here. The place was not clean to my standards but I was gonna clean and sanitize everything again anyway. When I left the room it’s actually cleaner than when I found it. The best part of the room was the view. The AC in the room is new but you didn’t need it at night because you can sleep via ocean breeze.Nice little kitchenette, however the furniture is so dated, whoever painted the room is sloppy and didn’t use any masking tape-brush strokes are on the edges of cabinets, the ironing board is stained, broken lamps, they never vacuumed under the bed, Windows wasn’t wiped down, the previous tenants had kids cause you can see kids hand marks all over the window. The TV worked but the brilliance didn’t work so you couldn’t see the screen, I only used it to listen to the news. As for security, some guys always tried to enter the building behind me and said they forgot their room keys and I would say too bad and lock them out. I told them to call management. All the shady characters around here always have a excuse to get in the building, my girlfriend is in there,my key is broken etc etc. Not on my watch you got to call management which was another highlight of my stay, they’re always quick to answer because I did get locked out of the room and I texted them and I was in the room in seconds. Online management and the view was what made this trip great. Make sure you get a OCEAN VIEW, you go to sleep happy and you wake up happy when you look outside to the Ocean. I was on the 35th floor.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Overall it helped me with the situation I was in.
Cons: I didn’t like a lot .... our room didn’t even have toilet paper... I had to buy my own at the ABC store, our microwave had no glass to balance our food.. sink water didn’t go down.. so we couldn’t even use the kitchen. Needed towels but no one was there to service on weekends because of COVID I understand that but if that’s the case why don’t they give enough so we are set for the weekend? I never had service like this .... ever...
Okay 4.0
Pros: Didn’t like much about this place.
Cons: I didn’t like that we had to kill two huge roaches once entering the room and that there was no extra towels, toilet paper, or sheets to use, which caused us to buy our own. The pillows were stained and bed was super uncomfortable. It was also hard to watch tv bc it kept cutting in and out. Would’ve been great to come back to clean sheets, towels, and toilet paper, but nothing. Probably won’t be coming back.

Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Close to where I had to be
Cons: The elevators broke down twice, two days in a row. Had to walk down stairs. They charge 25$ for their parking services even if your car is there for 2 hours. No discount or any type of remorse with the elevator breaking down.
Okay 4.0
Pros: The view was absolutely gorgeous and the AC worked great.
Cons: Mattress wasnt very comfortable, construction bring done on elevator which is very small. Get crammed with people and takes forever to come up and down. Parking is an extra $25 unless you want to find parking on the street.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: We liked the View from the room and location. Furniture was falling apart.
Cons: Both elevators were broken and we were on 38th floor. No one there for check-in. Charge 50 for towel.
Okay 4.8
Pros: I loved how close it was too the mall and other attractions of Waikiki. The large windows allowed a beautiful view.
Cons: When we first got into our room it was supposed to be a queen bed but we got to very hard twin beds, the floors were still covered in sand, and one of the elevators was broken so it took a very long time for us to get to and from our room.
Mediocre 3.7
Pros: Was close to shopping food and beach. Full kitchenette with stove fridge sink dishes coffee maker and microwave
Cons: Parking A rough driving valet only parking $25 a day Room Very morbid room that looks like you're in the early stages of the sims. Stove dials didn't have markings so you have to guess whether or not you turned it to hot or low. 2 twin beds, thin mattress hard springs, no comforter. Paint peeling from walls. If you are on a floor under floor 30 you have no view. Staff seems clueless. Cupboard door hinges aren't fitted correctly so some doors are stuck open. Very slow elevators. Pros: Room had a great ocean view and very clean.
Cons: Workers could be more friendly and new beds!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were ultimate professionals, the view was amazing, and you couldn't ask for a better location at the price.
Good 7.3
Pros: The room had a good view of the ocean, and the sunrise was very pleasant. There was a small kitchenette, and although we didn't avail ourselves of it, I can see that it would come in handy for a longer stay. The location was great, right on the main artery of Waikiki. Shopping, dining, and beaches are all easily accessible by foot, or if you get tired, there are frequent busses along the route. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.
Cons: Fixtures and appliances were very old and worn, laminate was peeling off of the cabinetry. The shower was tiny. I wanted to make our first night in Hawaii a special one, which Is why I got the 'deluxe' room. Perhaps naively, I was expecting the room to be in better condition for the price. But to be honest, waking up to the ocean at sunrise on your first night in the tropics makes small annoyance about the room seem pretty insignificant
