Cons:
The representative left 5 min before we arrived (5 min after our reservation time) and made so effort to contact us. We were stranded without a car. you’d think they would give us at least a 30 minute grace period or try to contact us to confirm the reservation.10.0 Wonderful

Cons:
No sign in the airport indicating where to drop of Avis car. Drove around twice. Went in and asked and the rep behind the desk said something to the effect of "Yes, it's so crazy but we don't have a sign up there, park in the lot nearest the airport" i.e. the one labeled for enterprise. What in the world - get a sign!!!9.2 Wonderful

Pros:
The rental desk at Latrobe called at noon advising us of a delay to our flight putting us in after hours at Latrobe. The agent suggested I join the Prefered program, so all the rental paperwork was pre signed and they would leave the keys with security at the airport. We didn't even know we were delayed. His actions and thoughtfulness Saved our trip.10.0 Wonderful

very friendly staff at Latrobe PA airport (LBE). Its a small airport, and that meant it was a short walk to my car and I was in and out in no time, both when I picked the car up and when I dropped it off. I will rent from them again6.0 Okay

Nothing. I had no interaction with the Avis staff. They were closed.Cons:
The rental counter could have been open. My flight arrived just after 2PM on a Monday. The other car rental counters were manned and open, but Avis had apparently closed promptly at 2PM. Since the airport is a relatively small one, I initially had few options for a ride. There are no taxis and the other rental agencies had no available cars. I called my brother-in-law, who lives an hour away, to come get me. I was fortunate that it was a holiday. He was available to come get me immediately. Another rental agency (Enterprise) fortunately had an unexpected vehicle available which I was able to subsequently rent, but it was expensive. I paid more for one day of car rental than for my flight thanks to not being able to keep my advance rental arrangement with Avis.Enterprise Rent-A-Car
