Pros:
The price booked is very different to what they end up charging you. Buying insurance on your own is another waste of time. At least renting a car in Mazatlán expect to pay minimum $40-$60 a day for a basic car.Dollar

Pros:
I liked the prices quoted on the intenet when reserving the car.Cons:
They tried to force me into insurance at 5 times the rental car rate eventhough I explained my credit card covers the insurance. Then they didn't have the car I reserved, so instead of upgrading me for free, they downgraded it and would not lower the price. When they realized I was not going to take the outrageous insurance, they tried to get me to cancel. When I returned the car, they tried again to get more money saying I didn't return it with enough gas. More issues but.... Avoid if you do not want to begin and end vacation with hassles. ..Europcar

Not National's fault, but the insurance cost more than the car so the overall cost was much more than same deal in the US. I knew this going in, but if I hadn't done the research, I would have been outraged.Avis
