Memphis hotels in Northeast Memphis

Cons: The pool was closed. Room was on the small side.

Cons: It was super hot in the business center and the printer was offline when I got there and I had to fiddle with it. Other than that it was fantastic.

Cons: The carpet is dirty. Bathtub and sink do not drain well. No free breakfast. Spring Field by Marriott gives free breakfast.

Cons: They charged to much for the breakfast.

Cons: Aging hotel, somewhat difficult to get in & out of the parking lot, small TV than expected

Cons: lot of noise. thought there was construction in hotel. Maid tried to hurry us out 2 hrs early. no free breakfast they wanted $6 for continental breakfast and $10 for a buffet!

Cons: Brown doors and dark older wood made rooms feel old. No late night room service was a bum

Cons: Bed sunk in middle and had lumpy pillow top mattress. Traffic noise was loud in room. Air conditioner was very loud. Layout of room/furniture was awkward.

Cons: Check in individual was not rude but was definitely not friendly.

Cons: Didn't live up to expectations. A Comfort Suites or Holiday Inn Express would've possibly been as nice or maybe slightly nicer.

Cons: Staff were unenthusiastic, if not actually rude. $10 for breakfast is ludicrous. Bathroom was tiny. There's a noisy road all around the hotel and minimal TV offerings.

Cons: The beautiful glass windows would pop and creak when hit by the morning sun, not so great if you are trying to sleep in after a night on Beale street.

Cons: Like Zachary, we also got the room by the pond. getting to the hotel was kind of tricky as we missed our turn in the dark. The room did smell moldy at first, especially the bathroom. Shower fan fixed that and it smelled better after we ran the fan for a while. It appeared we were just down the hall from the kitchen staff? I think the room was overpriced for its location. I would have prefered a room on a higher floor for the price I paid.

Cons: The fact that the people in the room next to me smoked weed all day and night. If I smelled it.. Someone that worked at this hotel should have smelled it. This is just not acceptable

Cons: I liked everything about this hotel except the fact that there was no continental breakfast served. I can’t think of a place I’ve stayed that didn’t have at least something like yogurt and fruit in the lobby. And there is usually a table with coffee and water but you have to buy coffee from the Starbucks in the lobby. Also, the parking lot was a bit odd. There were only a few places to park that were close to the entrance. The rest of the lot was a bit of a walk to get there.

Cons: All rooms should come with a microwave.

Cons: Dirty room, shower curtain liner missing-got water all over the place. Overpriced and overrated.

Cons: I had to wait on the room to be cleaned and hair pins lefted on the floor after being cleaned.

Cons: No refrigerator, but everything else was great!

Cons: We felt safe, but the room was old and rusty; wherever rust could show; you would see it. the toilet was tiny-- very low as if was for kids and it was leaking (for a while) because there was a dark stain surrounding it and the tub was chipped. While the room was clean, I did not expect this room condition in a Hilton property. I have stayed at other Hilton hotels and they definetely cannot be compared (it will be like comparing night and day).

Cons: When I checked in the lady at the desk was not friendly at all.

Cons: Pillows were terrible. The only bad thing about the hotel.

Cons: They gave us a basement room by a large pond. Normally this sounds like it shouldn't be an issue... It sounds like, "oh hey, I have a room with a view! Of... A pond" but I assure you... This was not the case. I'll preface this review with the fact that I pride myself on being able to sleep anywhere. So ok, I walk in the main lobby and to my left is a small bar. There are a surprising number of people there and they are all fairly drunk. I didn't think much of it. I continued on to the check in. There were about 10 kiosks but only one was open. I was stuck behind a couple that was complaining about their room. Once they finished up it was my turn with the clerk. I'm generally a pretty nice person but when I start talking to her she has nothing but attitude. So ok, fine... I'm now checked in and have my basement room. Great. I just want to get to my room and go to sleep. As I walk down to the basement level the air immediately becomes heavy, cold, wet, and saturated with the smell of mildew. I continue on and when I open the door to my room, I am immediately slapped in the face by the smell of a moldy room. All surfaces in the room were also wet. Including the bed. There were also bugs on the bed. Really, the only reason not to just sleep outside at this point, the only reason not to sleep outside is because it's still hot out there. Anyway, I set my stuff down, waited 15 minutes, and then began smelling what I thought was a skunk that may have gotten hit outside my window... There was that small pond outside the window, and then the highway directly after the pond. I was however, completely mistaken. It was simply the people in the next room getting high... Which I'm assuming they had to do to stay in their room. After all this, I decide to ask for a different room. I was very polite about the entire thing. Which was odd because I was greeted with nothing but attitude. Again... From a completely different clerk. She seemed very upset about the fact that I was complaining. Once I was finished with the clerk, I go to my new room. There are dirty dishes on the floor outside the room waiting to greet me. The room smelled less... And was less damp... So... That's a plus. I will however, never be staying it this hotel again.

Cons: The place was old and out dated it’s time for a upgrade

Cons: That they had a $25 hold on my card and it still has not posted back

Cons: food seem very process. not that good. minor things needed repair and or was old out dated. the lamps were old and not able to hold the new chargers.

Cons: Room was dirty. Ceiling around the air vent was black.

Cons: Internet/wifi down for 3 of the 5 days I was there, so had to go to a coffee shop to get work done in the evening/mornings early. Also, was a bit difficult to get in and out of - on a really busy street.

Cons: Clientele was sketchy, rooms used for parties with overflowing guests, basketball court was noisy, people loitering and smoking on stairs to unit entrances, property is dated, didn't receive housekeeping one day, they "forgot". Would not recommend this property. Management has lost control.

Cons: The beds are not comfortable, the floors look dirty.

Cons: Could have used a small breakfast

Cons: For the price, it was clean, easy to get to off the interstate, and cozy.

Cons: $100 deposit for non-smoking room, smoking room a/c sub par, sheets were old and stained.

Cons: The only problem that we had was with a few of the other guests that didn't realize that they were in public. When you come in at 3 AM, your not at home. Be considerate of others and do so quietly.
