Cons:Stuck driving a cargo van with "Hertz" plastered on the side through the Rocky Mountains. Not the easiest of drives in a vehicle I was not comfortable driving.

Cons:Car was much smaller than expected. Said Nissan Pathfinder or similar (and I know it says not guaranteed) but we got a Kia Sorento which was a lot tighter than we were planning for. Had to have bags in laps/etc. Why not just tell us exactly the car we were reserving? Doesn't seem that hard
Pros:The staff in Montrose provided excellent & friendly customer service. The nice lady was also very helpful in providing directions to the Black Canyon.

Cons:I got a free upgrade and was told when handed the keys. It would be better to ask if the customer wants an upgrade and what type of car rather than the brand. I had a gas guzzler SUV. I could have changed it but found out when I saw the car in the lot, and didn't want to spend more time... I would have preferred an economical one.

Cons:Phone was off the hook and rang busy all day when trying to inform rental counter that our flight was severely delayed. Arrived to find nobody at rental counter. Called after hours person and they would not come in to give us our car. Only after 10 mins did the agent call back because she felt bad and said that she would come in to get us a car. However the airport would be close by the time she came in. Addressed these issues on the return trip at the rental counter and they denied saying their phone was busy and made nothing but excuses...
Cons:Not billing me $400 to keep the rental car for an additional 15 hours of use due to a flight cancellation would've been nice.

Cons:Car had quite a few scrapes & alot of rock chips - as long as I'm not charged, I don't care, but there were alot. I had never driven a push-button start vehicle - it should have been obvious, but without instruction, the car pic of the parking brake and the start/stop button made me think I had to make sure the parking brake wasn't on and I was in Park and then press Start. I had to acknowledge my ignorance and ask someone, in order to learn you had to press and hold the brake while you press the start/stop button; otherwise nothing. It would be great if agents asked about familiarity with this option, to avoid delay/embarrassment.

Pros:Staff was mildly friendly at best. we waited in line for over an hour to get our rental. The first rental we received had not been cleaned and smelled terribly of smoke. After returning to the counter we were offered another vehicle without question which was appreciated. Upon further driving of the Toyota we were provided, the breaks were absolute terrible and would cause major vibration when attempting to stop. With driving to Telluride through the mountains, the breaking situation is not ideal by any means.
Cons:Vehicles need to be updated and be properly maintained. Also, in that size airport, there needs to be more staff, there is no reason to be forced to wait an hour for a rental at any airport.

Cons:The car was extremely dirty but inside and outside, and the associate at the desk said that it was because my flight was late by 4 hours and they were not aware of it. Their reason was that their detailing staff went home (it was still 4pm) because they thought there were no more customers coming!

Cons:No one at desk. Not the economy car I asked for. Don't charge me for a full tank of gas for a 60 mile drive. Had two bookings for me though first was not confirmed, just an exploration via Kayak.
Pros:The check on agent and lot tech in Montrose were very nice and tried their best to help us.
Cons:Car was rated for 5 passengers but only had 4 seat belts. The back middle seat attachment was nowhere to be found by us or the Budget staff. We also had to wait over 30 mins for our car. Both facts are tough to swallow when they are charging $180/day for their car.
