Pros:Pilot was there at the end of a difficult, windy flight. He was able to reassure us of his experience and skill with humor and a smile.
Cons:Wind and weather but nothing you can do about that
Pros:Air service between Redding and Portland is such a delight. Both facilities are small easy to get into and out of. Flights were smooth and crew was kind and courteous. What's not to like?
Cons:Have to say, both directions, wait time at counter was long.
Cons:My flight was 4 hours late on my way to Boston, and 3 hours late on my return to Presque Isle.
Pros:Portland pen air staff were great. Pretzels and cookies and FULL bottles of water were appreciated.
Cons:Old prop plane - very noisy and turbulent. At the departure city, I had a flat package ~1/4 inch thick that easily fit flatly into the bottom of the overhead storage bin but did not fit in my carry on. The staff had me physically tie it to my backpack with string to avoid paying a $25 checked bag fee for my carry on (which would then allow me to take the flat package as my carry on). Seemed ridiculous for a flight that was only half full and for which they asked passengers to leave roller bags planeside prior to boarding anyways.
Cons:The flight was delayed two hours with no email warning and minimal updates while waiting at the airport. I take this flight solely because it is more time efficient than driving but considering from when I arrived at the airport (probably an hour early for my scheduled flight) to when I actually landed in Boston it took longer than it would have taken me to drive, it didn't really seem worth it
Pros:Flight crew was fantastic.
Cons:I arrived two hours before my flight and waited over an hour for the Ticketing agent to arrive, including calling Penn Air several times. There were no options to check in without a ticketing agent and as a result came very close to missing my flight.
Pros:No waiting, no one sitting next to me it was a great flight.
