Cons: Room was small but the price was very good for DT Seattke in summer. No view but we only needed a place to sleep for a few nights.

Cons: Despite the high price of the room, they nickel and dime you for everything. Parking is not included in the price, even though the Hyatt owns the adajecent parking garage - hotel guests pay the same rates, if not more, than the general public who uses the same garage. Not a single movie channel (hbo, etc), so that you will have to buy their on demand movies for $20. Room service is overpriced and mediocre, with small portions.

Cons: Two of my "clean" towels had a lot of hairs that were not mine. In fact one had a big hair ball folded in it. That was kinda nasty to find after taking a bath. The bed was not very comfortable and made my back hurt. I thought since it was firm that my back would love it but I was wrong.

Cons: Bedding is not very comfortable. Feels like all you have is a sheet on your bed. Super short bath tub.

Cons: Parking. Valet $45 / Self $30. Saturday nights self parking is full.

Cons: Didn't like that I had to pay for access to the internet. $10/day for low speed, $15/day for high speed. A nice place like this shouldn't nickle-and-dime its customers, especially when even the cheapest Motel 6 usually offers free wi-fi these days.

Cons: Saturday night was a little noisy on my floor. Too much St Paddy's Day celebration I suppose.

Cons: The room was just an average, modern hotel room. Without much charm and a little less than as clean as most. Surprised to find that used products (shampoos, body lotion, etc.) were not replaced for our second night's stay.

Cons: Bed could've been more comfortable, and I was frustrated to not be able to watch my own movies via HDMI cable

Cons: The room was quite bright at night and housekeeping didn’t clean our room one of the days we were there.

Cons: Housekeeping didn't even knock and just came into my room in the morning a few hours before checkout. I was sleeping at the time but it could have been potentially very embarrassing for us both.

Cons: The room size was less than desirable...even for New York City it was small. Two medium-sized pieces of luggage could barely fit into the room. The A/C seemed to run on its own; there was a control in the room that didn't respond when humans touched it. The shower curtain in the bathroom was yellow and brown towards the bottom and the tile's grout was dirty in certain places. Not to mention that the water pressure in the shower and sink was weak at best.

Cons: Forced valet parking fee of $41 a night. Adds up pretty quickly. We stayed in a double/double room (no queens???, come on Edgewater) because the only king room available was over the bar which we were warned would have a band playing until midnight. So, my wife and I ended up sleeping in separate beds. Two adults in a double? Love her dearly but we both appreciate a little space when we are sleeping. We were unaware that the only heat source in the room was the fireplace. It was 90+ degrees so we didn't think about it during the day. Of course it kicked on in the middle when the temperature dropped. Didn't bother me much but it did bother my wife who was roasting since her bed was next to the fireplace. Don't get me wrong, the fireplace is a beautiful touch but would have appreciated a bit of warning about it automatically coming on during the night. Seemed a bit strange that the fireplaces in the common areas were lit even though it was record hot days the whole time we were there. I guess that should have been a clue. The shower head was held on with masking tape. Yes, masking tape. There were water stains on the ceilings. It would seem to me that a bit of paint and a new shower head in a room that costs $500 a night would not be an unreasonable expense for maintenance. Heck, use my parking fee for the weekend, that should cover it.

Cons: Staff wasn't super helpful, but I'm thinking that was mostly because it was the holidays and it was pretty busy The hotel cleaning staff kept on changing the shower head to the one we didn't like and we had to keep changing it back. That was just a little weird. Wish our room had a tub. Thin walls.

Cons: A bit dingy & a little shabby. Expensive waterfront room partly obscured by equipment, and staff not helpful w.r.t. finding alternative room. Bar is very loud but nice location & lively.

Cons: The lack of parking forces you to use the valet at $41/day. A hotel of this prestige should offer a continental breakfast and free coffee in the dinning area. I've stayed at many hotels in this price range that do offer it and parking for guests is free. Definitely paying for the location and name.

Cons: Our water view room had a piece of dock equipment (mobile people gangway or something) partially obstructing of our water view.

Cons: was hard to get ride to ferry using the hotel van as it was on the hour schedule.

Cons: I've stayed in better economy type inns. Cool location , but way dated and a need for up dating. The price didn't match the facilities

Cons: Unexpected fees!!! The parking lot is solely for valet ( only other parking is a parking garage across the street and down a bit, it would be a trek if you weren't parked on the bottom). Valet parking for us was an additional $ 41 per night. They messed up our reservations and put my 17 year old daughter and I in a room with one Queen bed. We had to upgrade to a king (only other room available) $ 40 per night upgrade. Restaurant had good food but we had to pay 5 star prices for 4 star (at best) food ($ 48 for a New York Steak). I had the Cedar Plank Salmon, $38 for an 8 oz. piece. It was mushy and the side was small. Breakfast was better and a little more reasonable. No pool or jaccuzzi on premises. With all the extra fees and the taxes on the fees our two night stay ended up costing close to what a three night stay would have been. I got the feeling that they were squeezing me for more money a lot.

Cons: The room and building was dirty. Very small room. A group of people were having a very loud argument in the hotels courtyard throughout the evening. It is a motel level quality.

Cons: The amenities featured laundry but their laundry facilities were under construction.

Cons: The confusing one way streets caused us some distress as we went around several blocks. But that is part of city life and we did score a good parking spot on the street..

Cons: Ask for a room that faces the alley. Otherwise you will be subject to loud buses, cars, people yelling, and a street piano. Bring earplugs and a sleeping mask (no blackout shades) if you are a light sleeper.

Cons: Small problem: a bathroom door that was hung poorly.

Cons: It is next to a dog park. One of the nights we stayed was a Saturday night and it was very loud outside with people partying and dogs barking. Woke us up a couple of times. It felt more like a college apartment complex than a restful hotel. It was a little hard controlling the temperature of the room.

Cons: Lots of outside noise the first night in a room on the exterior of the building, but was able to change rooms

Cons: Room was not air conditioned, so the window needed to be open at night to sleep, meaning city noises are easily heard. Not a big issue if you have ear plugs to sleep with though.

Cons: Should have asked for a skinny pillow or two to supplement the fat pillows. Minor.
