Customer service agent at the desk was great. In creating a Kayak reservation online, I selected SEATAC but was inadvertently directed to a pick up spot in bellevue. The agent helped me quickly get a car I could afford and could not have been nicer. please thank her for me.

Lady at counter was very blunt. Acted like she was too busy for us even though it wasn’t crowded at all. Car drove ok. Gas tank release stuck several time trying to open it.

Everything went well until I had to turn around and get a different car because the first car was making loud noises. The lady (in the garage office) had to check back in the 1st car and issue a new car. Never really told me what she was doing, typed information in the computer, called upstairs & then asked me to check my phone (which was in the car) for an email which I was assuming was for the new car being issued, although she never said. After I came back in, she asked for the keys (which were in the car), so once again I had to go back out and get the keys and bring them in. I then received the keys to the new rental car, Once again, my daughter had to make another trip into the office to have the agent open the trunk of the car I returned so I could transfer my luggage into the new car. This was all extremely frustrating because I was exhausted from traveling all day and still had to drive around to Bremerton Washington where I was staying. Most of the frustration I experienced could’ve been eliminated had she explained to me what she was doing and what needed to be done to get the car exchanged. The initial check in upstairs was great. The agent explained everything about the rental car contract and what I needed to sign. She was very helpful and knowledgeable and obvious to me, great in working with the public. The gentleman who checked the car out for any damage before I left the garage was great, as well as a man who checked the car in as I returned it.

I was initially VERY put off in my Fox experience. A LOT of rental car standards were present, from excess insurance, to potential fuel charges, as well as toll charges, etc... The attendant was friendly, but VERY pushy about these things, some of which I elected, and some I didn't. However, if they had clarified, what you don't use you won't be charged for, I would have opted in without feeling pressured or weighed down. The overall experience reminded me why I dislike ALL car rental, however, when I received the final bill, I was satisfied. Yet, still confusing as to why they were so pushy and intimidating. I wouldn't have cared about a charge that was more of a security (Namely the toll pre-payment) than a guaranteed charge.

They had a sign up saying their gas price was $4.97 (or thereabouts) and that local gas was $5.97. That was a lie. Regular gas in the area was approximately $4.75. But I fell for it and they charged me $150.00 to refill the tank. That’s $6/gallon if I brought the car back on empty. I asked for a compact SUV and got a huge Dodge Durango. I tried to get the gas money refunded and they said they couldn’t do anything until I returned the car. They said they’d email a receipt and didn’t. I waited on hold for over a half hour. Had to call twice to get the receipt. Dropped the car and was told I’d get an emailed receipt and didn’t. I will never use Fox again. Awful customer service. False advertising. Price gouging. Avoid.

did not have the class of car ordered...did not charge me less for smaller lower quality car...counter agent aloof...interior stained and dirty...outside dirty and dinged up...3 year old car with 55k miles and bad rumble in right rear of car at any speed...i was ripped of and will not rent from again...anyone who asks about fox will be told go elsewhere to almost any competitor.

The counter was not attended and I waited for 30min for someone to come. Once she came, she was extremely rude.
