Pros: The room actually exceeded my expectations, based upon price and photos. The bed was comfortable, the room was just the right temperature, and LOVED that the shower stall was bathtub sized without a bathtub. The toiletries provided were top quality, as well. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and had me checked in and out with light speed. Definitely will come back and am already recommending the Paramount to my coworkers who travel in and out of town.
Cons: A stocked refrigerator would have been nice, but all I really missed was cold water to drink.

Pros: The lobby was beautifully renovated and the hotel is in the heart of Times Square. The bed was very comfortable
Cons: The room size was less than desirable...even for New York City it was small. Two medium-sized pieces of luggage could barely fit into the room. The A/C seemed to run on its own; there was a control in the room that didn't respond when humans touched it. The shower curtain in the bathroom was yellow and brown towards the bottom and the tile's grout was dirty in certain places. Not to mention that the water pressure in the shower and sink was weak at best.

Winter rates are very reasonable, summer not so much...Good food and shopping with in walking distance, all except for breakfast, never did find a "good" breakfast despite paying $45 for two. Pros: This was the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel recently for 4-5 days. Both stays couldn’t have been better. The room was pristine and the staff went above and beyond to be accommodating. You can text requests for things like extra hangers or anything you might need during your stay. I checked in and out on the app, and used the app as my room key. I literally never one time had to go to the front desk during my entire stay for either visit. Any requests I made for things in my room (steamer, extra pillows, etc) were brought to my room within minutes. I honestly have never stayed at a hotel that is so consistently amazing. Highly recommended!!

Cons: Despite the high price of the room, they nickel and dime you for everything. Parking is not included in the price, even though the Hyatt owns the adajecent parking garage - hotel guests pay the same rates, if not more, than the general public who uses the same garage. Not a single movie channel (hbo, etc), so that you will have to buy their on demand movies for $20. Room service is overpriced and mediocre, with small portions.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. I reserved a king suite and the bathroom and tub were amazing. I also liked the push button shades that allow you to completely darken the room. For breakfast one morning I ordered room service and it arrived on time and was delicious. The pillows were comfortable. Starbucks is located right downstairs!
Cons: Two of my "clean" towels had a lot of hairs that were not mine. In fact one had a big hair ball folded in it. That was kinda nasty to find after taking a bath. The bed was not very comfortable and made my back hurt. I thought since it was firm that my back would love it but I was wrong.

Marion Oliver McCaw Hall and Museum of Pop Culture are also within 15 minutes. Seattle Center Monorail Station is 10 minutes by foot and Westlake Thomas St Station is 19 minutes.

Pros: This hotel was so much better than I could have imagined. Extremely clean, friendly staff, amazing location. The rooms were very comfortable and the rooftop view was really nice. It is walking distance to the space needle and pike place market and there are tons of cute restaurants around. They have bikes you can rent and umbrellas that you can check out for free.
Cons: Parking was $18/night but they did let us leave it in the lot after we had checked out.

Pros: Although this hotel is just about a 5 minute drive to downtown, I really liked the location. It's on a corner and easy to find, there are a handful of restaurants and bars within walking distance, and it's just enough out of town to where the streets and traffic aren't keeping you up at night or waking you up early morning. There is a Starbucks connected to the hotel which is nice. Overall it is a very simple but clean hotel.
Cons: Only negative thing I could say is that the pillows aren't the most comfortable, but that's a small thing to complain about. Otherwise great hotel.

Pros: The location of this hotel cannot be beat. Steps away from the Seattle Center and a long walk or quick bus ride or monorail ride away from downtown and Pike Place Market. It wasn't anything fancy, but it was very clean and comfortable. I also loved that they have a little kitchenette in the room, with Safeway across the street and Metropolitan Market (best grocery store in Seattle) two blocks away.

Pros: My family has stayed here two times now. We liked it so much the first time, we intentionally booked it for our following trip. The location is great! Close to Seattle center, super convenient public transportation, good food nearby- including an adorable old school bakery.
Cons: The room we had was SMALL, despite us requesting a larger one at booking/online check in.

Pros: I am a member of the presidents club and the morning of received an email to allow me to check-in prior to leaving my home town. I clicked the link, put an arrival time and how is was arriving etc.. a few hours before my expected arrival I received an email informing me that my room was ready and to pick up my key from the doorman. Also in the email were driving directions from my location. I arrived doorman had my welcome packet and I went right to my room.........slick!

Cons: We booked a “Family Package” but were placed in non adjoining rooms. I hate this- it always happens and hotels pretend to not be in control of the reservation or room assignment. We were separated from our kids and it made the whole experience anxious. We booked 4 months in advance- they got my credit card- I should have got an adjoining room.

Breakfast was very good, only had to wait a few minutes for a made to order omelet and the rest of the spread was also very good. Room was very nice and ample seating for several visiting friends on sofa. Rooftop deck was the perfect place to enjoy a few beers right under the space needle at night.
Cons: Rooftop deck closed at 10, could be later. No other complaints, this hotel is definitely my go-to from now on when I visit Seattle.

The elevator was out of service but the staff was really helpful and I really did not mind it at all and they did not charge fthe parking fee. Pros: Room was larger than I expected and had a small kitchen area that I used to make myself tea. Free breakfast was pretty solid too. It was a little confusing at first but I love the energy efficiency that results from connecting the keycard to the power system.
Cons: The air conditioning system created a strong draft over the bed. I had to turn it off to get to sleep. Also the water tasted off in some way and the pillows weren't super comfortable.

Pros: The motif is a great place to stay. I went to Seattle with my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday. It was the perfect location as it is in the middle of downtown Seattle. We didn't have to go far to get a bite to eat or to have a few drinks. It's a nice hotel, the rooms were clean and it was very spacious. Coffee and water in room. They upgraded our room since it was a special occasion. Overall I had a great time and I will stay there again when I go back to Seattle.

Told us to wait a few minutes while they looked and had us take a seat while they checked in other customers which seemed to go slow..had to go back up after they had checked other people in and ask again about our reservation...told again it would be awhile and to come back but assured us they had a room for us. Pros: The view is nice and close to everything downtown. Not a bad walk to the stadium - we were there for an event. Easy to catch a taxi.
Cons: At busy check-in hours they did not have all the desk staff available and there were long lines for check-in. Took about 30 min to get through the line. There were many young drunk 20 year olds in the hotel that night. They stood outside our room talking at 1am until I asked them to please go in there room. They then spent the last couple hours being loud and running down the hall banging on everyone's doors until I finally called security at around 3:30am. This is not what I would expect from a high end hotel with the amount of money they charge. At check-in we wanted to self-park (not worth the $25 more per night for valet. The gate for self-park was closed with a sign to go to the main entrance location (this causes a 6 block detour with the one-way streets). When we returned the valets told us that self-parking was not being allowed due to an event (which we were there for). So they were only allowing valet (to rip us off another $25/night). We were then told we had to go another 6 blocks detour to the only self-parking option if we did not want to allow them to park our car. I would have been fine with the location we parked at if it had been clear. The process made it clear that they made it super difficult so that everyone would just do the valet parking. Once you get in line to check in you have no way out due to the valet only. The hotel also charges very high prices for wi-fi per day. I would expect for a hotel that hosts events and such would allow free internet access or at least a decent price. For a slower speed for download up/down than I get at home they wanted $29/day. I would not stay here again and would say that it is not equal to a 4 star hotel. It felt as if they were not staffed appropriately and felt ripped off at every turn.

Four of the (maybe six?) staff members were wonderful and courteous, helpful, and treated us like they genuinely cared about our stay. In regards to a problem with our check-in and with our charges at check-out the staff went above and beyond to help us and make us want to return.
Cons: The other two staff members we spoke with were unexpectedly not friendly or helpful or to the level that one would expect at the Westin. One was quite snarky about the fact that we had booked the room through a third party-site, telling me we "should have paid more to book through the Starwood site." The other made no effort to help us find a local food place open at a late hour, making us feel like he thought we were quite a bother. I certainly would still return to the Westin, as I know their service to be exceptional despite these two unfortunate interactions.

As soon as we got to the front desk, they told us that a pipe had burst and that our room was flooded. Before we could even say anything in response, the manager said he had booked us at a different hotel that was closer to where we wanted to be, had comp'ed our room and hotel parking, and gave us a letter to give to the next hotel. The next hotel had a friendly front desk, the rooms were nice and the breakfast was very good. Not just cold cereal but actual pastries and hot food. Would stay there again for sure.

It is close to Westlake Station, where you can take the metro all the way to the airport. The employees were great and very helpful. I was given a king bed room but when I told them I wanted 2 queen beds, they quickly accommodated me. My room came with a view of the space needle. The room was clean. The only downside was that the room did not come with wifi. Other than that, the room was a really good deal for its location. Will definitely stay there again if I'm going to Seattle.

Said they"would send someone up to investigate" I was so peeved about this I went down stairs to complain directly and they informed me that they are indeed doing construction and they're supposed to start at 9am. While I was down there I complained that when I took a shower regardless of the length of time I was in the shower. The water flowed freely into the bathroom and filled it up with water and I had to use 3 out of the 4 towels given to me to soak up the water. Pros: We loved the breakfast, l think it was very complete: waffles, eggs, sausage, cereals, breads, fruit, juices, cheese, yogurt, pastries, etc. They also have complementary coffee and tea 24hr at reception, the rooms are clean, they have a keurig with k cups which is great, small fridge. Location is great.
Cons: It was a bit outdated, needs renovations, the ceiling noises were horrible, l could hear people walking, not so much for the walls, the windows are also thin, the bathroom has a shower not a tub, wall paper is old and gross, But it was the cheapest and l think it was worth it.

Cons: I went for a basketball tournament at Key Arena and my team lost after the 1st day. As a result, my brother (who was with me) wanted to leave early, so we only stayed one of our originally planned three nights. What I didn't like, is that I couldn't get my money back because I had gone through a 3rd party (Kayak) to reserve the room.... something I will never do again if there is any chance I will cut my visit short.

Pros: The staff was welcoming, informative and just friendly! I enjoyed the free breakfast and thought the rooms were clean and comfortable. Quiet at night and in the heart of everything Seattle. They greeted me and politely verified my status as having a room each time I entered - I felt very safe and confident that anyone I encountered in the hall was another paying guest. (Seattle is known for its homeless population.) The fitness facility also had nice equipment.
Cons: The TV picture went out regularly, the fixture in the sink was slightly damaged, and the hot water in the shower went ice cold if a neighbor showered or used their bathroom. The room had a refrigerator, but no microwave. I assure you, however, the attentiveness of the staff more than made up for any deficiencies in the facilities!

Pros: It was a very quick walk to the Space Needle and Seattle Center. Our bed was comfortable and had nice linens. Things were clean. The front desk people were very nice and helpful.
Cons: It's clearly an older hotel that hasn't been updated much. The outside is ratty and the upper floors are dark and didn't smell great (luckily we were on the first floor but I went up there to get a drink out of the vending machine). It was way overpriced the weekend we went because of a holiday and a festival going on nearby. This is not normally a $200/night hotel even in this location.

Pros: Friendly staff. I was able to check in early to get out and explore the city. Clean room & comfy bed. Breakfast area was pleasant and there were plenty of food options. Great location to get out and see some main attractions and to walk to the Victoria Clipper ferry terminal (about 15 min.)
Cons: Hallways (carpeting) need a bit of an upgrade. Only had a stand up shower, so if you were looking for a nice hot bath (I wasn't), you'd be out of luck.

Pros: Staff was fantastic, they went out of their way to be helpful. They even allowed us to check in a few hours early. Location was perfect. Parking was cheap. Breakfast far exceeded expectations.

Pros: The place was cleaner than I had expected. Carpets were clean and farly new. Sheets and towels clean and white. Noise was very low on our floor. We were lucky to have an end room. Staff friendly and professional. Breakfast was better than most hotels, with omlettes and sausages in addition to fruit and toast and cereals with yoghurt or oatmeal. Got great nights sleep every night. Perhaps I had been expecting a dirty place and prepared for demanding clean sheets etc, but I was surprised at the level of cleanliness and comfort. True it is an older building, but they've invested in lighting and security and staff. It feels a star higher than 2.

Cons: They gave us a view without the space needle even though we asked for a good view. Our windows were facing the opposite way. The power went off sat night and our room was without light for about 10 min.

Cons: They staff failed to give me a wake up call, even after i went downstairs and requested in person for them to do so, and i ended up missing my flight. The room was tiny and the entire hotel reeked of cigarettes. Horrible customer service - when i asked about a close by and good place to eat they recommended McDonalds. Utterly horrible.

Pros: The staff was very accommodating to my situation, I had got into town early and they allowed me to check in early to my hotel room. They were also friendly and when my key card didn't work, they fixed it immediately with no problem.
Cons: Not a huge issue, but the motel looked like it was last renovated in the late '90s. I wish that it was more up to date and that the place didn't look so old.
