Pros: Staff were pathetic. MR PINTO AND HIS MANAGER MS KUHLMANN, were extremely rude and incompetent. They didn't even supply the car I booked, overcharged me more than double as they didn't have a car and now refuse to refund me or reply to my calls or emails. Worst car rental ever.
Cons: Sixt is useless, it's no wonder they are called Sixt and not First..... Absolutely will never do a rental with them again.

Cons: Dishonest staff at drop off! Claimed everything was fine with the car only to be sent an invoice for a supposed damage yet no picture with time stamp to as proof. Avoid!!!
Cons: They didn’t have the car we ordered so we had to get another car at another location so it was very inconvenient

Cons: I was over charged for insurance - I had the same experience in London. Will stay away from these shysters in the future.
Upselling Insurance - Other than that good experience
Pros: Vehicle was clean and easy to find. No issues with the car.
Cons: The check-in agent tried to up sell both insurance and gps. I had pre-purchased insurance but she kept telling me that I wouldn’t be covered in case of accident. Familiar with my pre-purchased policy I declined. She kept pushing twice more to no avail. The agent also tried to push a navigation unit on me. As it turned out it was already standard in the car. Sixt needs to train their staff better.
Cons: I quoted an automatic car. Received email reservation confirmation for an automatic car and when I got to the counter (after waiting almost 30 min because there was just 1 person in charge, I was told "we have no automatic vehicles in this category at the moment. For Sixt automatic is a "wish". If you want an automatic, you need to get it from a higher rate class.
Don't by misled by alleged value
Pros: The car was beautiful and fun to drive.
Cons: The quoted price was nothing near the real cost of the rental. I can also confirm that the insurance was way overpriced and more expensive than the daily rental charge. That is outrageous. Further, they don't tell you that they are also locking a security deposit for possible damages above beyond the cost of the rental even though you've already agreed to pay the full insurance coverage fee. When I picked up my car, my credit card received a hold of $900 for a car that was only expected to cost around $200. Ultimately, because of the insurance, I paid just over $500 for a 3 day premium rental. Needless to say, I will never use their service again.
