Cons: windows are older not well insulated for sound. A bit noisy as it is downtown

Cons: 1-Valet parking turned out to be a bad experience. We gave the keys to the valet for parking Sunday PM and when they went to retrieve it the following Tuesday AM from their parking facility, someone had shattered the driver side door window in an attempt to get Break in, despite “security cameras and limited access “. Also a 2nd vehicle experienced the same issue 2 spaces over from ours, don’t know if it was a hotel guest or not and don’t know if the area is public or not. The hotel does not take responsibility for vandalism, The management did go out of their way and was gracious in assisting with the inconvenience, That said, I had to pay for the repair out of my own pocket. Be warned that this could have happened at any of the 5 star hotels in the area with a similar valet setups and outcomes . ( according to local police, vehicle breakins are not uncommon for cars with “out of province plates”). Hotels don’t take responsibility for your vehicle unless it is a direct result of the valets negligence . Seems to me, if we must pay for valet, they should be responsible/obligated to keep our cars safe while it is in their care. 2- a minor issue was the Wi-Fi connection that was not very good in our room, 2-3 bars out of 4.

Cons: Not much we didn't like. It was a bit pricey but we felt we got great value considering it is a luxury property.

Cons: The fire alarm went off and we were all evacuated. The firemen came and it was a false alarm. We went back to the rooms and it went off again. We were asked to evacuate a second time but the cleaning crew told us not to pay attention and sure enough 1 minute later it stopped. The firemen came a second time and the assessment was that the equipment is outdated and needs to be updated. Kind of a crazy morning.

Cons: That we only stayed one night :)

Cons: The wireless internet connection was AWFUL despite coming included w the room. Couldn't get online and it was really difficult to connect.

Cons: It appeared that we arrived during a meal break or such as there was only one reservationist at the front desk who became overwhelmed trying to check in three groups while answering the phone, etc.

Cons: For such a nice property, I found the noise pollution from the hallway to be very problematic. The door was not well-insulated - I could hear every word spoken in the hallway, not to mention noise from other rooms down the hall. For what I paid, this is an unforgivable oversight. Also, the housekeeping calls at 8:30 each morning were a little ridiculous.

Cons: A little on the expensive side for an older hotel with few amenities, but the location is worth it and the beds are comfortable.

Cons: Could hear everything inside the rooms. Staff kept asked four times about check out which is ridiculous service. The in room dining service was poor. Nobody answers phone call.

Cons: The staff was, at times, short and unaccommodating. Our room key had to be replaced 3 times due to it not working in the elevator.

Cons: The restaurants and bars immediately nearby, close at 10pm. So as soon as a show or game is over at BC place or Rogers theater, you better head for bed.

Cons: Was advertised as a supreme king suite. We opened the door on the 16th floor expecting a suite. A seperate seating area. Somewhere we could sit & look at the view of the harbour & Stanley park. Instead we found a king size bed, with 1 chair in the corner. A coffee maker with only plastic cups to drink our dark roast coffee,that once we added whitner it turned gray. The small tv on the wall was off to 1 side, leaving 1 person to sit on the bed ( which was quite comfortable) on an awkward angle. Overall it was a nice hotel that left a sour taste

Cons: The Lobby was designed as a contemporary open space but it felt too big and vacant. Its interior design could be freshened.

Cons: Bed a bit too soft. Elevator shaft was audible and a bit annoying.

Cons: Workout room was very limited. Only two treadmills, and one was broken.

Cons: I haven't got one, single complaint. I guess the views from some rooms aren't as great as others, but why gripe about the view when you can go out into the city and actually experience it.

Cons: Baggage taken separately instead of in same elevator, and baggage gentlemen was very pushy as well as the valet attendant. Park elsewhere nearby for much cheaper.

Cons: For the price we paid I would have expected a bigger room. Then I would have loved to have open view to the north harbour but a building was blocking partially our view, a little bummer although my wife loved it.

Cons: The water and shower were strange. Hot water ran out of the cold faucet in the sink for a full minute before it got cold, every time. Temperature of the shower and strength of the stream were from the same dial, so to get good pressure you had to sacrifice comfort. Truly bizarre. You need better signage downstairs to find the front desk. Usually they're on the ground floor. One of the down elevators was out, so we had a long wait because the first one working was full. $4.50 for bottles of water in the room? No way! There should be 2 complimentary water bottles, which you get in other fine hotels. And there is no convenience store nearby which stocks good water at a reasonable price. The (excellent) TV in the room was set at an odd angle, you have to twist your neck to view. Channel selections did not include Fox Business, which has higher ratings than CNBC; and MLB Network, which has baseball coverage other than the Toronto Blue Jays. And if you must burn half a dozen channels on French language programming, it's time to expand channel capacity. The three dinner restaurants had problems, in addition to high prices. The bar which had such good recorded music at lunch had a terrible, whiny live folksinger performing. We had to leave. The top premium restaurant was closed for a special event, and the third was expensive and you could still hear the awful folksinger because there was no wall. We wound up dining at the hotel across the street. You don't want people walking in there, do you? Finally, and most annoyingly, there was a fifteen minute waiting queue for a taxicab when we were leaving for the airport. The cab driver explained that the problem was all the cabs were handling cruise ship traffic. Well, this must happen most days, and you need to do something about it besides having an older doorman losing a battle with the hotel across the street (and customers down the street) for the attention of the taxis. You should probably warn your guests in advance of the problem, and provide a list of private local cars/limos and the URL of the Vancouver version of Uber as alternatives. And hire a sexy young woman to replace the older gent because if cabbies in Canada are anything like those in the U.S., they won't make sharp U-turns to avoid a beautiful woman making sharp whistling sounds.

Cons: Had my reservation for a king sized bed, and when I entered the room, it was 2 doubles. Went down to get it changed, and the staff member (Elena?) said the rooms were fully booked and said that "the king sized was just a request". I persisted that I reserved a king and paid the price for a king, which was clearly printed on my reservation confirmation. She went to the back room to check with her manager, and finally came back out to change my room to a king size bed. It was a little troubling to have to put up a fight to get what I had reserved.

Cons: The fact that the room felt somewhat expensive and still charged for wifi and water. No free breakfast as well

Cons: The toilet in our bathroom was located immediately in front of the sink which made access to the sink a bit awkward. New bathrooms are small.
