Zurich hotels near Kunsthaus Zürich

Cons: You better know the person you are staying since there is a glass wall that divides you from the bathroom. There is a curtain that one can draw from the outside. I saw this in Dubai one time and it is interesting. Usually if you are staying in the same room with someone you know them. This was my sister which I could handle. The curtain was drawn. Nice place over all. They don't have the convenience of you printing out a boarding pass. You have to email it to the front desk. A bit weird for an " AIRPORT HOTEL" Not to have an easy convenience like this printing option.

Cons: the room was set up for a romantic couple with a window between the bed and bathroom shower area. not particularly sexy to me to watch someone on the toilet but the glass was not transparent towards the bottom. nonetheless the hotel put up a curtain for me and my son. I had requested twin beds but got a king that we needed to separate. The restaurant was grossly overpriced but I am still experiencing sticker shock over food in Zurich - pack a lunch

Cons: The trim on the door was broken, whenever we opened the door, we had to push the trim into place to close the door. The room also appeared to be poorly vacuumed, there was (what I hopefully believe) was a piece of chocolate sitting under the bed post and other trash. I also thought the window between the shower and bathroom floor was unusual.

Cons: Coffee in the morning is a drama....

Cons: A bit dirty carpets and tile in shower.

Cons: For the price, I would have expected just a couple of conveniences added such as free bottled water int he rooms and 24 hour access to coffee in the lobby.

Cons: Room was dirty. Floor was covered in hair and toilet had not been bleached properly. We complained and were moved to a new room. Even the new room was not adequately clean. The front of house staff did their best to handle this well, but the cleaning just isn't up to standard.

Cons: I booked this online thinking it was a budget hotel, considering the price. Receptionist didn't greet us with a smile nor he was being rude or anything but room is already booked and we're checking in at 6pm so I guess he thought no need to be nice. Surprise came next morning. While we were checking out he asked 49chf and I was shocked as for why. It was for the breakfast we ate. Now, nobody told us anything about breakfast not being included and its hotels around this price range you would assume it is. I was really furious about it coz only salami yogurt and coffee at 22chf per person breakfast wow l. What a rip off! What annoyed us the most is that receptionist guy didn't give any info about absolutely anything but when it comes to collect money.... I even had to ask about the Internet connection, he said 'written on the paper', the stuff that he gave us with the room key.

Cons: Dirty coffee cups not changed out. Face towels removed from bathroom but not replaced. Used tumblers left as is.

Cons: The staff are rude, unapologetic, and unsympathetic. The beds are none standard so a queen bed is two smaller ones next to each other. They must have used some cardboard to connect two smaller mattresses because the bed was so uncomfortable I slept 0 hours the first night. They will tell you they are out of mattress toppers. If you keep asking they will bring you a tinny one that doesn’t fit the mattress but it’s the best they can do... They give you two single bnlankets for your queen bed. These things are so small that I couldn’t sleep with them. Nothing more romantic than sharing a queen bed but your partner is shivering under her own tinny blanket. When we asked for a queen blanket, we were told the hotel is fully booked and they don’t have any more... so they don’t stock enough bedding for all their beds... Anyways I could tell you how my complaints lead to a duvet less blanket from the storage room that was so yellow and dirty and still not queen sized but I will skip that story... DONT pay for the breakfast. Just ask to take a look before you commit. Mush of eggs were watery and the cheese and meat looked like they had been sitting out for days (8am). I have no idea how they get away with this overpriced breakfast. So atmosphere sucks, food is bad, comfort is horrid, and the staff never asked if I needed anything or apologized for selling a queen room with amenities of a single room.

Cons: Location is good for business locations but exoensive to get to the old town. A bus would be good for airport transfers and in and out of town

Cons: Bedding not comfortable for a supposed 5 star hotel. Shower and bathroom small and mediocre.

Cons: Not that clean... hairs in the room fridge ! Otherwise some dust in the room Chewing gum sticking in the elevator ! Only an expensive and too small car parking, that was always full so we had to use an even more expensive parking ~10 walking minutes away.

Cons: When we arrived to the hotel The receptionist told us that she was going to give us an upgrade (we were happy becuase we weren’t asking for it) so she send us tomroom 3707 ( the smallest room at the hotel, specially for singles). My wife and I were upset about the size, so next morning we went to the front desk and met Joao Reies, great professional who inmediatly changed our room to the one we were expecting it. Thanks to him we had a great night. We want to thank Joao for his actitud and friendly listening to us..

Cons: Poor parking facilities. Expensive and difficult to park a "normal" sized car. A 10-15 minute walk to eating areas. Thai restaurant was expensive and so-so.
