My luggage was damaged

Pros: "Nada"
Cons: "Charged me 30 for allegedly overweight suitcase. The they proceed to lose it."
Pros: "The crew were very helpful and the food was good."
Cons: "There was no soap in the toilets on the stretch from Sydney to Dubai. The film choice also seemed poor."
Pros: "Everything was outstanding"
Cons: "Nothinng really"
Pros: "The staff worked hard but it must have been impossible to satisfy everyone"
Cons: "Too many and too crammed seats. Too narrow aisles. You wont even allow seat allocation to loyal customers reserving months in advance. Greed must be intoxicating! Time to look for a fairer airline who appreciate and care for their customers."
Pros: "The food was great, the in flight entertainment was great, and as a tall person I appreciate that Emirates still provides a decent amount of legroom, even in Economy."
Cons: "Being sandwiched between 2 large men for a 12 hour cuddle."
Pros: "departure on time, seat comfort, service okay at time when I expect to have it."
Cons: "Departure and arrival at almost mid night which difficult for reach home at night, kids can't wait at airport."
Pros: "Comfort level was below expected for Emirates today, because the flight was very packed. I didn’t get the ability to choose or change my seat while checking in online and checking in at the counter and was not able to change out of a middle seat. We also took off 1hr + after the original departure time."
Cons: "Not sure why I wasn’t able to change my seat during check-in, this is usually standard. Other than that, the flight was fine."
Pros: "Very responsive and friendly crew"
Cons: "Would like to see more vegetarian options"
Pros: "Nothing ."
Cons: "I started my journey from JFK with Emirates and before booking ticket I checked with customer care representative regarding the baggage allowance and I was told that I am allowed to carry up to 55 inch . I just carried 43 inch tv weighing 19lbs and one check-in baggage weighing 21kgs and they made me pay 175$ saying that tv size is not in allowed limitations. I have also filed complaint but didn’t get any response so far . Last year my husband carried 55 inch with ethihad from same airport JFK and was not charged single penny. so I can say there is no airport restriction as well."
Pros: "Great video console for a short 1.5 hour flight to Yangon"
Cons: "Nothing. Everything was fantastic. Just a really nice quick flight."
Pros: "The relaxed environment and the crew are amazing"
Cons: "There is always some passengers that drink a bit more than they should but.... there is nothing we can do with it"
Pros: "Business class on Emirates is superb. Nice cozy cubicle and lots of attention. The food was remarkably good. Really enjoyed the 16.5 hour flight. Made it very enjoyable."
Pros: "Everything is really amazing about UAE, service, amenities, entertainment options, leg room."
Cons: "Before the plan even took off for our 14+ hour flight I could tell the seat was uncomfortable, and it was going to be an issue. I don't know why this would be overlooked, as everything else was best in class, but it made for a fairly uncomfortable experience."
Pros: "Good selection of movies and special menu for the festive season."
Cons: "Slight delay on the tarmac."
Pros: "Good food. Lots of movies"
Cons: "Crying baby in business. Slow meal service. Car service driver didn't want to pick me up at my address when it was snowing."
Pros: "I recently booked a flight on Qatar first, to Ko Samui, Thailand. When I got on the plane, I asked the flight attendant to please be careful when he pushed the cart down the aisle because the last time I flew, the flight attendant smashed the cart into my elbow and drew blood. The flight attendant laughed at me, so I told him, calmly, that if it happened again, I would sue the airline. He didn't like that, and so for the next ten minutes he sent three different flight attendants over to ask me crazy questions like, "Do you have anything you would like to tell us?" I have no idea what this was about. Eventually, I was told to get off the plane, which ended up costing me over $1,500 in transportation, hotel, and new flight (on Emirates) fees. It was and still is a nightmare because my vacation has been ruined due to having no money. I'm a master's-degree-holding English teacher of 11 years with no history of ever having been asked to get off of a plane for any reason, and no, I was not drunk because while waiting for my luggage to be returned, had a conversation with three Boston airport police officers who did not arrest me or even understand why I had been kicked off of my flight. Nor did I speak a single profane word to the Qatar flight attendants or security, and of course, I did not use violence or resist when I was told to get off the plane. Unlike Qatar's staff, the Boston police officers were very polite and understanding. Emirates, on the other hand, was a completely different story. They were great. The staff was friendly, and when I was sleeping, they didn't send their staff over to harass me. I have flown on Emirates, Qatar, and Ethihad many times, and I truly don't understand why Qatar's staff have been instructed by their managers that it is okay to lose long-time customers and kick professional teachers off of their planes just because they think I wasn't perfectly sweet and nice to them all the time. I am an American, and in my country we have freedom of expression and speech, as long as that speech does not indicate violent intentions or use profanity or insults. Basically, I felt as though I was in a country with no rights to free speech at all. Presently I am having my lawyer work up legal documents for Qatar to get my money back and to reimburse me for travel and hotel expenses, as well as having to take two extra days off of work to reschedule my flight. I truly believe in the transparency of the travel industry through using comments like those I am making you readers aware of right now, and I assume you will benefit from this rhetorical question/advice: Emirates and Ethihad are sometimes a little more expensive than Qatar on certain flights, but is it really worth it to risk having Qatar take your money and make you miss your flight for no reason? Is it acceptable for an airline operating in the USA to deprive Americans of their right to express concern to the flight attendants on their plane?"
Pros: "The entertainment system was really good..."
Cons: "The food was poor compared to other airlines...IE British airlines void us great"
Cons: "The crew was welcoming and helpful. The plane was clean.... the food was pretty good."
Pros: "Nice airport"
Cons: "It took Emirates a while to let passengers out. 1 hr layover is just barely in enough, expect to run or fast walk to connecting flights. Not organize when boarding aircraft."
Pros: "Polite staff and professional."
Cons: "I was asleep so I did not get my arrival card from the crew when landing in transit in Yangon"
Pros: "The crew was great and helped make it easier with young children - the entertainment for children was also very diverse - despite it being a 14 hour flight!!"
Cons: "The children meal was not wonderful. But as I only had one and two children - they shared an adult and child meal - which was okay."
Pros: "Business class product is phenomenal."
Pros: "Fast checkin with Online Checkin. Only had to go to baggage dropoff. Nice onboard service. Like the choice of good entertainment for such short flight. Several options to watch."
Cons: "Flight had some delay. One person on-ground very rude and totally out of line in the way to treat customers. Under no circumstance any airline employee should lecture a passenger about time schedules and such. I had read the rules online and was aware of the timings required if checking in online. I was surprised being accustomed to good service from this airline."
Cons: "It was delayed for 50 mins"
Pros: "Food, comfort, service all excellent! Hands down best 8+ hour flight experience vis-a-vis other airlines."
Cons: "While there was much in the way of options for entertainment, navigating the system & touch screen was a pain. Often the mouse doesn't follow your touch and you end up clicking things you didn't mean to click + having to press multiple times."
Pros: "Boarding"
Cons: "Late take off"
Pros: "Everything was on point."
Cons: "After 20 flights booking with emirates in last seven months and nice experience, seems its right time to switch airlines. Was not allowed to board when I reached 8 min late due to heavy traffic on accident on highway. I had 50+ mins before flight departure but they didn't allow me to board. Paid extra money and reschedule for same day flight at 4:30pm and they delayed this flight departure by an hour without no problem. Too much biased."
Pros: "Every thing was good."
Cons: "There was nothing which I disliked."
Pros: "Every thing was ok.but not excellent"
Cons: "Specially for getting down from the plane we had to use stairs that is not good specially for senior citizens."
Pros: "Good"
Cons: "NA."
Pros: "The most important thing about Emirates for me was that they had truly vegan meals and snacks for me that were actually quite good."
Cons: "Food while trip to India was good But food while trip back to sfo was very bad"
Pros: "Everything was on time. Very comfortable. Nice service."
Pros: "Lots of leg room. Excellent entertainment system."
Cons: "Not every seat had a power outlet. They took the headphones back a little too soon."
Pros: "Overall Emirates airlines is the best"
Pros: "Very professional and very good in customer care"
Pros: "Check-in was efficient and staff were extremely helpful. Flight itself was comfortable, food was actually tasty, and in-flight entertainment was great. Overall an amazing experience compared to US carriers."
Cons: "Boarding was a bit disorganized."
Cons: "For three hours since takeoff we were not served any food or drinks. I was dehydrated and my sugar level had gone low. When they finally served us, they said they did not have a vegetarian meal inspite of my having ordered a hindu vegetarian meal. on creating a ruckus they managed to arrange a vegetarian meal"
Pros: "I like Big TV"
Cons: "After shown the back door of the plane, 7 others were stuck in a lift for an hour, it was too hot. help didn't come soon enough. Ignored by airport staff and cabin crew"
Pros: "A380 is great, roomy even for coach. Food is great as always."
Cons: "While most flight attendants are decent, a few are just not that great...making loud noises at the attendants compartments and chatting around while flyers are all sleeping, kick around garbages which makes loud noises too. Also the TV screen is a little hard to pull up at the front role."
Cons: "Great movie selection and food."
Pros: "I got left alone! I watched movies, and slept most the flight!"
Cons: "Nothing in particular. I just wanted to be out of the plane asap since my "fun" incident in Maldives. Safe to say that emirates has ruined my vision of the maldives for a while."
Pros: "Airplane was amazing and the aurlines crew awesome"
Cons: "Nothing"
Pros: "I never took this fligh . I also hope I wasnt charged"
Cons: "Nithing"
Cons: "Food wasn't that great. They ran out of choices"
Cons: "Crew was like they have come from heaven and they are doing favors for people like us"
