The dates were completely wrong in my rental, but they canceled the reservation automatically. I called them to check that I wasn’t charged for I car I couldn’t use, since I was abroad those dates, and they were very nice about it. Thank you very much!

The only issue I encountered at all was the fact that the airport didn't have great signage to help guide you to the rental car area. Once I got there it was quick and painless and they gave me a free upgrade to a larger vehicle.

I was charged a drop fee (rented at ATL, dropped at STL as per the contract). The rental was not supposed to include a drop fee, but my credit card shows an almost $600 charge for what was supposed to be a $200 rental. I expect a refund of the drop fee. Thank you. -c.

It was very difficult to find the rental desk coming from outside the airport. Better signage or online instructions needed. Also, Enterprise would not honor my reservation without a major credit card on file. This should have been disclosed up front.

Personal thank you to Duitar (I am almost positive I spelled his name wrong). He was at the National counter. Anyway, he worked to ensure that I had the best deal possible and considering how busy they were, he made the process feel efficient. Once we went into the garage, I took a moment to stand in front of the fan to get some air and a guy came over to direct us to a car eliminating the need to go to the desk. So all in all, great experience. Thank you!

Pick up and drop off was really simple and quick which was great. However, after ordering an SUV and being told when I arrived: “All we got is minivans” was a bit of a disappointment. Just glad that I didn’t spend a bit of extra money and go for a more premium vehicle as I would have been extremely disappointed. Does make me think about using another car rental provider in the US in the future.

Paying for car at airport was difficult. I rented 2 cars, one for me & one for my daughter's family. Alamo said I could pay for both with no problems. That was not honored at the Atlanta airport Alamo rental center. The desk agent said I could not rent 2 cars with the same credit card. I tried using another card for the 2nd car; he would not accept that either. Luckily my daughter had a debit card they accepted. Desk agent had a horrible accent, and was extremely hard to understand. Nissan Rouge had electronic problems; backup camera would go black, & then come back on after I restarted car. Car electronics kept rebooting on its on. Very frustrating.

Had to wait 1.5 hours to get a car after checking in at the desk, after a 45 min wait to get to the desk in the first place. Nowhere to sit, nothing to eat, but had to stay there the whole time as no clarity on when a car would eventually be available. Car eventually provided was a very nice upgrade which was an unexpected surprise, but overall would have just preferred a smooth pickup experience!

Even though we had made a reservation, we had to wait an hour for the car. The price was also very high, which was blamed on high demand due to the Masters tournament. We also were not informed that we needed to bring our insurance documentation, which would have saved time during the check in process.

This is THE WORST experience I have ever had. I made a reservation and upon arrival in Atlanta, was told that there was a 2 hour wait for my car! In addition, I had pre-paid because Kayak and Budget (whoever handles pricing) jacked up the cost of the car due to the Master's Golf Tournament, so what would have been an average $100+ / day was $400! Ridiculous.

Kayak allowed me to rent a car an hour after I landed without any prior reservation. I went to the counter just before my reservation and the person at the counter said I would have to wait another 3+ hours for a car because that’s their policy for same day rentals. Kayak said NOTHING about this and I was left without a car. They need to advertise this and not allow for rentals within 3 hours.

Terrible. We showed up and it was going to be a 1-1/2 hour wait to get a car. There were people who had been waiting there for almost 2 hours. We decided to go with another carrier and abandon our reservation as we had a 3 hour drive ahead of us. If you know there is going to be an issue, a courtesy email or text should be sent.

I was not informed about all of the requirements for using a debit card to make a reservation. After 5 hrs and several phone calls to Hertz and to priceline I was unable to rent the car that I had already paid for. I had to cancel my trip which caused me to miss several appointments including my sister's graduation. It was an exhausting and terrible experience.

At pick up they just told me to go get in one of the cars on that row. We never looked at the car. When I got home my husband asked me if they noted the problems with it. I had to go back to the airport and have them note the issues. This could have been avoided had they walked the car there. It was my first time ever renting a car so I did not know. The lady was very helpful when I went back. Once I got to my destination Thayer we’re very thorough and the first thing he asked was about the missing gas cap. Had I not gone back this would have been an issue.

There is very little telephone support for last minute changes , you are only referred to online changes where the interface is not straightforward for adding days, adding drivers and changing drop-off locations. Other wise I had no complaints, but because of the lack of telephone support Hertz missed out on a week of extension to the rental contract because I cannot use the web app while driving, and the scheduled drop-off was very tight so I couldn't stop driving to navigate the website. I spoke to a hertz representative on the phone and asked to change the reservation to extend it and was willing to pay the fee to facilitate the change by telephone because of the driving, but he just kept saying to use the web app and he couldn't help me. Ver disappointed in this because Hertz is usually the Gold standard of service.

The main counter in the Rental Car center is not staffed right now, but we took care of the limited paperwork at the kiosk near where you pick up your car. The staff was super friendly and the Volvo which we rented was given to us perfectly clean. The exterior was a bit banged up with more than a few door dings and one larger dent in one fender. I would rent again with Sixth.

The service was great. The car itself was not comparable to what I had reserved. I was told I'd get a Jeep Grand Cherokee or similar. The only two options were a Hyundai Santa Fe or a Toyota 4Runner. The agent put me in the 4Runner, which was dated, and was very difficult to drive. The steering and brakes were very difficult to manage, again very different from the Grand Cherokee I was expecting. For the cost, I understand that the cars are in the same classes, but a smooth riding SUV and an off-roading type SUV should not be interchangable. I very disappointed with that and would not pay that price again.

Jabari and Mgr. Porche at Atlanta airport were amazing, I was just a little too tall for my car (BMW X-2) but that was not that much of a problem. I love the affordability of Sixt and will definitely make them my go-to provider moving forward.

After I explicitly told the clerk at the counter NOT to add any additional insurance/services beyond the absolute minimum required, they tacked on an extra $31 of insurance per day as an optional service. I only noticed this when looking over the bill after the fact. Serves me right for trusting these scumbags.

It took an hour to pick up the car. My flight was only an hour. It was ridiculous and I will never use Avis again. The Hertz line was moving at a much more reasonable rate. There was no organization behind the counter and certainly no sense of urgency.

Our options were a mini or “come back tomorrow and see if we have something” They refused any refund or price adjustments because we had already paid online. This was literally the worst car rental experience that I have ever had and I travel frequently. I waited in line at the kiosk for over two hours in a line that stretched out around the corner with perhaps 100 people in line. The line got even longer while I waited. They was no clear reason for this, it was a random Friday night. People arrived and were astonished at the length of the line. The line at other car rental agencies was much more normal, 5 to 10 people. After receiving the ticket to get my car there was another half an hour wait while they try to find an appropriate vehicle for me. After leaving the parking deck it was realized that our car was not filled up with gas, nor was it cleaned. We were very concerned that we may run out of gas prior to making it to a gas station. No one seems particularly upset, bothered, or surprised by the length of the line and the very slow process. I had my wife and three young children with me. No one recognized that this was a significant burden upon us. No one apologized that our car was not filled up with gas. They did not offer a refund or reimbursement for the full tank of gas that I left them upon my return. Nor did they apologize that this happened.

It was an 8 hour wait for a car, with the line snaked around the building! We went to National/Alamo, rented a car in five minutes. And of course we were unable to get refunded from Dollar, so we were upset.

The pickup process was comically long. I waited in line for over 2 hours, and there were only 17 parties in front of me. By the time I left the line had tripled in length. The staff didn’t seem to care that so many patrons were waiting for assistance.

I made reservation at 8 am did not get a vehicle until almost noon. I have never had a reservation for a rental car and not get it in a timely manner. People who checked in a lot after me where getting vehicles before me. When I did finally get one they told me they didn’t have the vehicle I even rented so I had to go with a different one or come back later. The customer service was absolutely poor, when asking about a car, the manager said if we didn’t like it than we could cancel and go with a different company.

Ridiculous service, i rented cars many times in the US. Now at the advantex desk i was asked for a “international drivers licence” I said i never had to present that. But she couldn’t care. I stepped 5 steps to the right and found myself in front of the Alamo desk and luckily they had a car for me without an International license as do all the other rental companies. In 30 years of traveling i never ever experienced such a rude employee at the desk

They counter was closed at 1207, after I called ahead and said my flight was delayed. So I didn’t receive my rental in the next morning, had to reserve a second hotel and pay two hefty Urbers. I reserved a midsize vehicle, for one person. They gave me a mini van. But the van clean.

No one at desk, we waited 15 min while a nearby rental agency came to help. No sign was put up to tell us where to go. He looked around & found one behind the counter telling us to go to the rental garage & find a neighboring company’s return desk. Car was fine, rate was decent, staff were overworked but friendly. Seems like staffing issues. Will likely rent with one of the larger companies that had staff at their desk next time.

So it would be extremely helpful if people knew exactly what kind of deposit was expected from the rental car dealership. I had to pay a 250$ deposit but I budgeted 200$. So us know before booking the rental what deposit is required for that specific merchant

The pickup process was not good was not aware that you had to provide a utility bill, provided my mortgage statement they couldn't use that. I was able to give them a water bill. It's too much to rent a car would never use them again.

When I came in they asked me for a utility bill in order to rent when that term was nowhere in the terms & conditions. I’m pretty sure they rented my reserved car at a higher price to the people in line ahead of me :(

I had a reservation for several months for this car. The line to the counter was very long, and I noticed that around 50 people were just hanging out with luggage around the counter. A lady from that group walked up to me and said "just so you know, the line you are in will take at least 1 1/2 hours long. Then you have to wait in this group for them to call you for a car. She had been there for over 2 hours. So 3.5 hours she'd been waiting, and was still waiting. There were no cars. TERRIBLE customer service. I vacated the line and walked to Enterprise, who had me book online and gave me a car. Time spent: 15 minutes. I will go to Enterprise from now on.

The representative at the front desk (inside office) was very courteous and upgraded my car because there were none available at one of the pick up areas. Other than that I can’t think of anything.My first car was barely clean on the outside, wheel was shaking at 60+ mph, returned car and was charged a full tank of gas when the I barely used 1/4 of a tank. Service was mediocre at best. Never renting from this company again! Manager did not include in the notes why I returned car.

They are dishonest and do not even tell you the whole truth when renting the car. The girl told me $20 for unlimited gas but never specify that it was $20 per day. They do not tell you how much gas cost to fill up and will send an email receipt instead of telling you the cost up front and deposits.

I made a reservation 2 months in advance, but when I arrived at my scheduled time to pick up my car, I was informed they didn't have the car and had to wait 3 hours until one was available. The car they eventually had wasn't the correct size, and I still had to pay the difference for a larger vehicle, getting charged more. Once I had the keys, when I arrived at my spot, the car was not there. So, the gentleman valeting vehicles found me another and told me I was good to go. When I got to the garage gate to leave, they said I needed my reservation number, which was not included in any of the email communications I had received about my reservation or written down on my paper by the agent, it was only a "confirmation" number that I had. So, I had to repark the car, go all the way back into the terminal on a torn ACL and knee brace, get the number from the agent and re-enter the queue to exit the garage. Not to mention, a gentleman behind me in line when they initially informed us there were no cars had said he was going to the same city and I could ride with him. While I'm sure he had good intentions, as a single woman traveling alone, I politely declined. I wouldn't have taken the offer even if it was a little old lady. After all, I should have my own reservation and vehicle, right? The agent still felt a need to comment on my decision, as well as share it with the other team members through the walkie talkie, and went so far as to tell me "he wouldn't have done anything to you." This company needs to figure out its logistics and stop overbooking when they clearly cannot deliver for travelers. I would have happily found other arrangements if I had just known in the first place.

The ladies at the Avis desk in Atlanta were excellent. The lady at the Payless desk was awful. Told us our prepaid reservation would not be honored. Avis ladies took care of us and sent us off to enjoy our vacation. Never book from Payless.

There was no attendant at the payless counter in the rental center. The gentleman in the adjacent counter said I should go to the AVIS desk. They handled my rental, but offered indifferent and somewhat lackadaisical attitude. The vehicle was of a class smaller (KIA K5 rather than a Toyota Camry or equivalent, (which would have been a KIA Optima)). I did not have the time to protest at the time. Then, I was charged over $140.00, when my quote was for $125.42. And finally, after drop-off I was charged over $8.00 additional for fuel top-off. --I returned that car with a FULL TANK. I think they probably overfilled on a top-off to charge me for the difference. VERY DISSATISFIED.

Person at the counter at Atlanta airport was extremly rude. She was not even behind the window but off between 2 businesses in a very low chair as if she was hiding from potential customers. The car I had reserved was not there and they had no car for me. Rude and ignorant.

I had temporary license paper from NC because duplicate had not been received yet. They didn't honor my prepaid rental and priceline refused to return my money. I had to rent from another agency for 2.5 times the price. Never again will I use priceline, not worth the lower price.

The car and drop off experience were both good, no complaints. Pick up was not::: 1) I was redirected from the payless counter, (a payless contract), to the avis counter 2) The first avis clerk redirected to a different avis clerk who knew how to handle a payless transaction 3) steps 1 and 2 caused a significant delay 4) price of the printed contract was higher than the amount of the online order 5) the clerk changed the contract to the online order amount 6) my credit card was billed for the higher amount, (more than the order or contract).

Payless counter was closed when we arrived (mind you it was 1pm). Redirected to Avis, but they were confused using another company computer system. Got a car then went out to get lit and it was gone. Back to the counter for another car. New car gas was not full. No one seemed to know what to do about it. Just glad the car worked out in the end.

I’ve rented from them 3 times because you just can’t beat the price. Inconvenient location off airport but they have a free shuttle at least. Check in process always seems a little slow and the employees never very friendly. Never had any issues with their vehicles. Drop off process is quick and easy.

We thought we were getting a Honda Civic and did not read the fine print that it would be a comparable car to the Civic. They gave us a KIA. Drove well. Very clean excellent gas mileage. We had to wait a bit at the airport for the shuttle to come but the driver was very courteous and helpful. Overall, a very good experience.

The transaction went smoothly. The agent was polite and helpful. The rates were the best I could find online. The car was decent, very low mileage and ran well. I will definitely rent from them again. I hope they are in all the States in the US.

the did NOT have my car - or ANY car for that matter my reservation for for 7:00 - the sign at the counter said that no cars are available until 8:30 I asked them for a car, ANY car - nothing was available they "over" book online w cheap rates and then hope to figure it out later i ended up renting from AVIS - they had cars left

Pretty mediocrePickup and Dropoff was SUPER easy and quick. That makes a huge difference when renting. Also, it was relatively cheap.The car was pretty nasty. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks.

The person at the desk was friendly and efficient once we got there. We were quickly checked out and on our way after a long wait.The directions on obtaining the vehicle were not explained to us until after we called for directions to the off site rental. We had to wait for a van to pick us up and take us to the rental lot, which took a long time to get to us. Upon arrival the agent greeted us and was welcoming. There was an undisclosed $200 deposit that we were not expecting and was taken from our debit card the day of rental. It was advertised that the van would be exceptionally clean and sanitized. When Adrienne pulled up the van it was obvious it has sat for awhile. The outside was dirty and banged up. The inside was fair, but it was definitely not clean. The Van’s brakes were poor and the power steering was loud. Not what I expected for the price we paid.

The van operated fine. I had a bunch of warning lights. Low tire pressure and that weird balancing light thing.The pick up process. I waited over an hour for them to clean the van. And then they informed me that I didn’t qualify for unlimited miles even though it said unlimited miles on the website. 1) please clean your van prior to your customers picking them up. 2) please disclose all terms and conditions so your customers can know what they are getting themselves into.

Vehicle was cleanPickup from airport took a ridiculous amount of time. They did not disclosure the additional fee for dropping the vehicle off at an offsite “partner” location. This was the ONLY option as they were closed when we dropped the vehicle off. The fee was not disclosed.

I reserved a car online and when it was time to pick up the car, the rep at the counter told me I had reserved the car when there was a "glitch in the system" because there were no cars actually available. That's all he could tell me and "sorry about that". IT IS COMICAL that I would receive a survey link after NOT ACTUALLY DRIVING OFF WITH A CAR FROM ACE!!! No plans to try them again.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever hadIt took 4 hours to find my rental car and a trip to another hertz. They wasted the first day of my short vacation. The people who worked there were incredibly rude. And made the situation much more unbearable. Also ended up paying an extra insurance because apparently they didn’t take the insurance i paid online. It was a waste of money.

Didn't even pick up the carThey had my flight information ahead of time. I called them to let them know plane flight was delayed (by ~30-45min)- no one even picked up the phone. Went onto the flight thinking, "They wouldn't have asked for my flight number if this wasn't a problem they were used to having to deal with." Finally showed up at Atlanta Airport's Rental Car Center to a closed booth. Another rental company was open and happy to take my money. Never again Ace.
