Cons:Car was not very clean mostly the seats. Also smelled I’m sure someone had smoked in it at some point. Even the clock was at the wrong time

Pros:The staff was friendly and helpful at both pickup and drop off.
Cons:One of my tires was leaking air. Felt dangerous and could have been avoided. I would have also appreciated a later drop-off time option.
Pros:Getting in & out with the rental was easy
Cons:The car smelled terribly of smoke. We stopped at a store for a deodorizer and it still didn’t help. For the amount of money we paid for this rental we expected a cleaner car.
Cons:I wanted to throw away trash when I left the car on the lot after hours, but there was no trash bin. I left the trash in the car.
Pros:We had a nightmare of a day and the clerk at enterprise was so polite and nice. Kayak made my reservation for the next day and I didn't catch that but she helped us and made our day a little better.

Cons:Van was barely cleaned. Old food and debris from previous renter under seats and in back. Trash from previous renter in glove box. My rental was a Ford Trasit or similar. I ended up with a Chevy express. There were no Ford Transits. Not one anywhere and I don’t believe there ever was. I called for weeks before my rental pickup to have one allocated and was called the day before to tell me. I don’t believe that if your customer service associates took the time to actually look at a schedule, I could’ve been notified and I would’ve made other plans. I was transporting elderly people, the Transit’s configuration made it a lot easier for us and comfortable for them.
Pros:The employees were nice
Cons:They could have had the car I reserved instead of only having SUVs which I didn’t want but was forced to take. They could have cleaned the vehicle which they clearly hadn’t as it was covered in bird poop on the outside and had trash on the inside. It also had a big dent in the hood.

Cons:Went through three cars on pickup. First shelled of cigarette smoke and had 3/4 tank of gas. Second had 7/8. This was full. 30k miles on odo, loose steering, and an intermittent tire pressure light. Very clean, however.
Cons:Someone treated the dash board with a high gloss coating, like Armorall. As a result there was dangerous glare in the windshield. Full coverage insurance was a rip off, over $9000 per year. I will not rent from Avis again.
Pros:The staff at pickup was horrible. I had To wait over 20 minutes at an empty desk. Nobody answered when we called / when someone finally showed up, I waited Another 20 minutes.

Cons:When we dropped off our rental yesterday, there was a new Hertz employee (Mateo) standing at the counter who was very polite, but he said he was new to Hertz and didn’t know how to check in vehicles for returns and all he does is clean the vehicles so we would need to wait for the other woman working to return from Wawa in order to check in our rental car to get a receipt. We sat and waited 30 minutes for the other Hertz employee to return to the Hertz desk at ACY from Wawa. When she finally returned from Wawa, she was rude and unapologetic that no one was at the Hertz desk who could check in or out cars. Mateo was at the Hertz desk but said he was a new Hertz employee and all he was allowed to do was to clean the cars once they were checked in. When the other woman finally returned from Wawa after leaving us and others standing at the Hertz counter in ACY for 30 minutes she finally checked in our vehicle and ended up charging us for an extra hour for the rental which is ridiculous, since the late check in was caused by her leaving her post to go to Wawa for 30 minutes. If she was there at the Hertz counter to check in our vehicle when we arrived then our vehicle would not have been late. When i told her it was ridiculous to leave her post for 30 minutes at Hertz with no backup to check in or out vehicles, she was rude and said it wasn’t her fault. She proceeded to charge us for an extra hour for our rental and told us to take it up with corporate if we didn’t like it. We almost missed our flight because of this woman leaving her post at Hertz in ACY and Hertz not having any other backup person on duty who could check in or out cars. Horrible customer service! This woman was rude and unhelpful! Not the level of politeness, attention to detail, appropriate staffing levels and customer service i would expect from Hertz.

Cons:Booked through Carrentals.com and didn't read the fine print. Let the buyer beware. I will never book through them again.
