Book Avis car rentals in Eilat

Pros: Drop-off very easy and immediate transfer to the terminal by Avis shuttle bus. Car interior in good condition.

Cons: Staff at pick-up was not friendly. Price booked on Kayak was not correct. At the Avis station we had to pay additional 133% of the rental price (42 USD). This because of unwritten airport fees (39 USD) and because of the need of an insurance (17 USD/day). Totally paid 98 USD. Kayak didn't show the full rental price.

Price shifted

Cons: Car came up on kayak as $186 but it was $290 when we dropped it off because of insurance fee at pickup that the agent said we must pay even though we are always able to decline it in the US since our Visa card provides coverage. Also , there was an airport drop off fee added.

Cons: The kayak price included no fees, and the fees were triple the rental cost. I expected some fees, but three times the rental? Also, the car had a plastic piece under the bumper that fell down and scraped the road. It was not dangerous, but it was annoying, and I had to tape it up.

Pros: pickup and dropoff was OK

Cons: -nobody was helpful -i orderd Hyundai Accent and i became Kia Picanto -in the price wasnt assurance (so end price was 5x more)

Cheap not so cheerful

Pros: Service at pickup location was slow but very friendly. Didn't make any fuss when I dropped the car off and I explained the fuel was slightly below where I'd received it Air con worked exceptionally well

Cons: It took 15 minutes to find my car there were only 30 cars in the carpark. Other customer came after me but got served first. I've seen better looking cars on the scrap heap. Every panel was beaten and bashed. Seats had cigarette holes.
