We had a confirmed rental and they weren’t there. They hadn’t canceled our reservation. Then we couldn’t even contact them. Stay away from budget.Reviewed 2023 Feb 12

Budget at the airport was closed in January 1st but they still allowed the booking to be made. It was also more expensive than a local brand called Localisa. Would recommend Localisa instead.Reviewed 2023 Jan 05

Pros:Si la señorita del counter extremadamente atenta, el señor un venezolano que me entrego el carro muy descortés le pedi un favor y me dijo que ya se tenia que ir y no podia. Cons:Got to the airport and was told there were no cars available. Of course the fly by night local car company booth next to budget was happy to help. I think it’s a racket. budget cancelled my reservationPros:the young lady at the counter tried so hard to help us even though she obviously didn't have the resources to help us.Cons:Budget in Bogota didn't seem like a legitimate business. they canceled our reservation because we didn't arrive within the hour. mind you, we spent 30 minutes trying to find the place within the airport, there wasn't any airport signage. the young lady at the counter was very sweet but her "supervisor" arrived to fix the "situation" and reminded us that we weren't in the US. when i told him this wasn't acceptable he told me to calm down or he wouldn't fix anything. he acted like he was doing me a favor. anyway 2 hours later we got a car that they brought in from the shop. we rented for 4 days, the car had torn seats in the back and lots of dings and dents. on our way to drop off the car just stopped working and the budget people had to pick us up at a gas station. we never got an apology. in addition the "supervisor" told us that he didn't honor Kayak reservations. i will never rent from this Budget ever again.Reviewed 2019 Jan 01
