I think I was wrong when choosing budget. I had a very old car and due to poor service it broke down and I had to drive 3 hours there and 3 hours back so they could give me another car with the same conditions. I don't think I will rent from budget again.Reviewed 2023 Nov 28

The car itself was comfortable, clean and suited our travel plans. Our flight came in early (nothing we can do about that), and we had to wait 3 hours to pick up the car or pay another days rental fee! Finally get out to the car after being told it's full of petrol and needs to be returned full, and it is already below full. Within 20km the gauge dropped another click! After driving it for almost 2 weeks e figured out that it was almost "200km" short of full! The windscreen wipers were terrible, and there was no washer fluid in the reservoir! Anas was very assistive. But I was told last minute that a Tacoma wouldn’t be rented to me because I’m under 25, this wasn’t mentioned to me beforehand. There were all hidden fees that I didn’t see when booking, so that was disappointing. Overall, wouldn’t book with budget again.Reviewed 2023 Nov 28

Budget only had 1 Representative servicing customers. Customer lined up past outside door and waiting time was 3+ hours. Worse thing is that the rep said that he has been the only one working for several months and Budget Rental has not hired any other Reps to help perform customer servicingReviewed 2023 Nov 27

I specifically sought out to rent a RAV4 because I am thinking about buying one in the future. I got a confirmation that a Rav would be available when I went to pick up my rental. I was told they only had a few cars left at Budget. I told then confirmation number and basically got a shrug from the desk clerk. I got a a different vehicle instead. The back seat wasn’t clean and front area wasn’t wiped down very well either. Why if they know people have reservations, wasn’t there enough cars in the lot to accommodate? I doubt I’ll rent from Budget again. Kayak also let me down.Reviewed 2023 Nov 27

There was delay to pick up. Not clear with actual time of pickup. There was no one ask me if I returned the key. I have to FedEx the key to avoid being charged. And the person who looked at the gas was not correct.Reviewed 2023 Nov 27
