There was no one waiting for us at the counter when we arrived, and we had to wait 30-40 for them to come. It took us a long time coming through customs and immigration so the agent just left. We wanted a 4WD and I checked the model we reserved online prior to booking but that was not a reliable way to ensure we had a 4WD, which Dollar did not provide in Salalah. On our last day, the Dollar agent called us asking when we were returning the vehicle, though we still had hours until the scheduled return time. This would not have been a concern except that the call incurred international charges.

Cons:

Its horrable after reserving and detucting the fees the company informed me that no such car available!! I want my money back!

Pros:

pickup/drop off was easy. they replaced the car when their rental broke down (bad battery).

Cons:

They overcharged me for booking a 'standard' size car, which I understood to be a full size car. It turns out they gave me a midsize car only. Be careful not to be tricked by their shady tactics and false car categorization.
