Pros:

Overall I was very happy with this rental. The folks at Enterprise were very friendly and helpful, and they had a car ready for me when I arrived. Drop off was also very quick and easy.

Cons:

I had reserved a Compact car for a long highway drive through the hills of West Virginia and Maryland. They only had a pickup truck, which was nice, but it didn't handle as well as a Compact on the highway and was not very fuel efficient. It made the drive more stressful than it could have been.

Hertz does not give the customer an option for reaching a human being by phone. My drop off location was Saberton WV. The hours posted online were till 5pm (Wed). From noon Wednesday, I had no option to reach a person (customer service) to ask a question regarding drop off. When I called the online 800# and the number on the business card provide, the outgoing recording looped around for extending the rental and provided no option for a live human. I arrived at the drop off at 3:45. The location was locked up with no key drop box option. I left the car with the key in it. I have no way to contact this office, because of the way the phone line works.

Despite calling ahead to ensure the timing, there was no one at the facility to process my rental when I arrived, and no response on any of the numbers provided at the counter. In the end I had to abandon my plans for car rental and drive my own vehicle.
