"Easirent isn't too easy" (direct quote from the guy at the HERTZ counter in the Dublin airport as I was asking for help finding them) The first problem was there was no notice that the easirent IS NOT AT THE DUBLIN AIRPORT. You have to call them and they will come pick you up. Landing from the US with no cell phone service in Ireland there is not an easy way to contact them. Everyone at Easirent was friendly; the guy at the counter, the shuttle driver etc. I would not rent from them again unless the price difference was substantial or you're prepared to call and wait for a shuttle to and from the airport.

The car was perfect! They give us the car with half tank, which is very difficult to calculate later to bring it back with half tank...

The directions in the confirmation were wrong, we had to find the rental location. They did not allow me to use the insurance included with my credit card for the car insurance, I was forced to pay the insurance coverage.

Nothing stated in original booking that we needed to bring a letter from our insurance or credit card company (who covers all liability while abroad) to not have to pay for the rental companies coverage. Wouldn’t let us take the car without it. Same thing happened to the people in front of us and the were from the UK. This is a scam to get you to pay for their insurance coverage. This also is complicated because they are located off-site in a run down business/industrial park so you have no option but to go with their insurance. Highly recommend that Kayak and Priceline evaluate working with this group and implement some warning to customers before they rent a car from Easirent!

First of all: The staff from Easirent was very kind and I had no problems with them. But... 1. we booked through Kayak with Priceline a car from Easirent. At the pickup we were charged around 40% more due to an insurrance that wasn't included in the Priceline price but what is mandatory in Ireland. The offer from Priceline is misleading and a lot of customers where angry about that. Some others booked there also. Obviously because without an insurance it was the best offer in the comparison. 2. The car was damaged! There was a damage at the right front light and the light wasn't fixed anymore in the car. I have blinded other cars with it! This is an absolutely no-go! This car has to be repaired before rented out to other customers. 3. They blocked a deposit of 2.100 EUR! Come on, this is more than the price of the whole car :D This leads all in all just to a worse review which actually would not have been necessary.

They called me less than 24 hours before my reservation and told me they didn’t have the car I reserved. They were incredibly unhelpful in finding me a new car and referred me to another car rental company. 0 out of 10

I was weary at first based on some reviews, but it was an excellent experience. Was a bit tricky finding pick up/drop off spot, but it’s more of an airport feature than the rental company. We rented an automatic, electric (!) car as it had way cheaper rate. We got brand new Peugeot 2008e SUV - awesome car. It did require a bit of planning with charging, but we drove 1,5 hours into countryside, charged at out hosts overnight, went another 1,5 hrs to Hook lighthouse, then Waterford, charged there while having lunch, etc. very doable. Car came with ESB charging card, so I didn’t have to pay for charging. Also I used my master card rental insurance - as was instructed by company I brought a letter of coverage from my credit card company that had my name, my card number, and Ireland as a country of coverage. Smooth process, no problems.

Rental office: far from airport, old, unusual building in a truck depot, not 100% fit for purpose. Customer service: poor attitude, except for drivers to & from airport who were very good. Car: normal, fine. Price: charged extra for insurance, no apology, very poor customer service. Note: 1 requested passport first time this happened. 2 they charge for tolls after, and said it was cheaper BUT it's not, they charge an "administration fee" of €10 which is triple the price of one toll. 3 on their terms, if you're 15mins late dropping off the car, they charge you a full day rental.

Unfortunately I had to cancel my booking because of COVID. No problems. No cost no deposit held. Will use them next time.
