I called multiple times including the day of pick up to ensure van that was needed to transport dog for surgery 5hrs away could use suv (I have Durango) too high . We needed space and lower entry of a van he’s 170lbs. I called 8am morning of pickup was told the van would be available at pick up at 3pm then they called at noon and no van offered me a Jeep Waggoner and when I went to look at it to see if I Caryl make it work they couldn’t open the doors..two key fobes and neither would open the door they said they would take to the dealer..I told them not taking it wouldn’t work anyway but even if it could work I wasn’t comfortable taking it no way two key fobs on brand new car needs a battery ..I would have ended up stranded sureReviewed 2024 Jul 14

They canceled the reservation the day of the rental because there were no cars available. More advance notice should have been given. Fortunately the Avis down the street was able to accommodate us as well as several others who experienced the same thing.Reviewed 2023 Oct 17
