I ended up double insured because ENTERPRISE was unaware that I had bought the additional insurance through kayak so I am a little frustrated with that but that is not ENTERPRISE ‘s fault. That is kayaks issue. Everything was ENTERPRISE was great

Staff on both ends extremely friendly and helpful. On drop-off they even drove us to the train station.

Cons:

Car interior was a bit worn, but overall fine. Pickup process was long and seemed overly complex.

No one inspected the car with me when I picked up the car, the existing damages were written in text and not shown in picture so obviously it was not clear and there was existing damages missing from the file. Luckily I had taken videos to make sure I don’t get screwed at drop off. The car was dirty from inside and outside. There was Tobacco everywhere in the car. At drop off I got accused of a damage that was there before me and I had to show my videos so I sent multiple emails and waiting for response

We had to wait in a huge line that took 3.5 hours to pick up our rental car that we reserved and paid a deposit for online. We were exhausted from our long flight and jetlag. There was nowhere to sit. It was very poor service from Sixt. This is the last time I will be renting with them.

Waited in line for 2 hours to pick up car, then was told that they gave away all of the cars in our preferred body type because "we were late"! We ended up with a full-sized gas guzzling car that wound up costing us MUCH more money. Dropped the car off 2 days earlier than expected and somehow still got charged the full amount for the rental?? Never again.

Had to wait in line a solid hour to get to a counter agent at Frankfurt airport to p/u my car. Way under staffed. Staff were decent but obviously stressed. No fun for anyone! When returning, I walked past the rental counters again, and saw that this time the line up for Sixt was at least 3 times as long, so likely a 3 hour wait in line to p/u a car. What a mess. Both times, Sixt had by far the longest line up of all the car rental companies. Given that most customers book their rental car in advance, this is a problem with an obvious solution -- pay enough to attract/train/retain sufficient employees to meet known customer demand! Very frustrating to see only half the rental counter spots staffed during peak times. Or get with the times and set up a proper express p/u system whereby customers fully registered with Sixt can by-pass the counter and head straight out to pick a car, as is typically/smoothly done in North America.

Wenn ich wochenlang Testa-Nutzungs E-Mails bekomme, erwarte ich auch einen Tesla beim Abholen. Mir wurde eine anderes E-Auto angeboten, aber der Kofferraum war nicht ausreichend. Der angebotene MB E220D war dann am anderen Endes des Angebotsspekturms. Er lies sich aber sehr gut fahren.

Customer service counter person was annoyed I spent 80 euro extra on mileage and I ask her for additional miles, she said .20 euro was not much. Was annoyed the reservation was at terminal 1 not 2, I just selected euro car

SCAM ALERT. We prepaid for our car. Our pick-up was delayed and we picked up our car 3 hours late. The manager told us the requested car was not available because we did not pick up the car within 1 hour of our scheduled pick up time per some obscure policy (despite having prepaid for the car) and that our only option was a downgrade, or we could pay an extra €200 fee for a larger car. The downgrade was too small so we paid the extra fee after 45 minutes of arguing with the staff. I’m very disappointed in the way the situation was handled. I’ve lodged a complaint with my credit card company.

The woman helping us at drop off was sooooo slow. And she didn’tfocus. There was a huge line and she got distracted with conversations. She tried to talk us into insurance which was annoying. Also tried to get us to upgrade. It took 1 hour total and that’s not acceptable. Other than that, all goes well.

Cons:

The original Avis representative at check-in had asked me if I wanted GPS. I said no, and although I can speak some German I was tired after a long flight and signed the contract without noting that I was paying for additional GPS that I did not ask for. Upon returning the vehicle I spoke once again to a different person at the counter telling her the situation and was given a credit for the GPS

Turned to be a scam, supposed to be a VW Sharan van or similar, but they said there was a mistake in CarRentals.com reservation with Avis and they will give me a station wagon instead, and if I wanted a van I had to pay $1780 instead of $630. Both are unprofessional, CarRentals.com and Avis.

The rep told me about the charges and advised to bring back the car with full tank to get 120$ credit but upon returning my car, not only did I not get the credit, I was over charged an additional 500$.. dishonest staff attempting to over charge you so they can get a commission..stay away!!

Cons:

Waited in line 30 mins. One person on duty handling many customers. Nothing on the agreement said pick up the vehicle in Term 2. Turns out, was only in Terminal 1. Would have been nice to know. Didn't have what I reserved/tried to up sell me for $400 more. I refused..finally got the price I reserved

Cons:

Very difficult to find the shuttle. Took a long time to get the shuttle back. It is hard to find the location when returning the car as they don't have any maps and there are no signs indicating how to get there from anywhere on the road. It is not at parkplatz Hirsch as advertised (though they share a shuttle) it is on an isolated road. The shuttle is at parking lot 29 and there is no map to that in the airport. It took a lot of question asking and about 45 minutes to find the shuttle location. Not at all obvious. Would not rent again from here.

It was a well maintained vehicle and priced just right. Affordable alternative to the train or a long distance shuttle to my destination with the freedom to be mobile when I arrived at my final destination.
