Wenn ich wochenlang Testa-Nutzungs E-Mails bekomme, erwarte ich auch einen Tesla beim Abholen. Mir wurde eine anderes E-Auto angeboten, aber der Kofferraum war nicht ausreichend. Der angebotene MB E220D war dann am anderen Endes des Angebotsspekturms. Er lies sich aber sehr gut fahren.Reviewed 2022 Nov 02

Insurance RequirementCons:The location demanded that I obtain insurance and pay USD 500 before they would give me the car since I did not have a copy of my insurance showing that rental cars were covered. Who cares a copy of their insurance disclosures? If I had known, I would have obtained a copy before I left the US. Thus, I had to call my insurance company at my expense and have them email a copy that I could then email to the renal counter. I will not use Kayak nor Hertz for a rental car again and will tell all of my friends to not use them also. Not happy.Reviewed 2017 Jul 16

They gave away my carPros:The car was fine when I finally got one.Cons:My flight was delayed departing from LAX. Instead of arriving at 10:30 in Frankfurt, I arrived at 12:00. Then the passcontrol decided that three agents were plenty to clear 1,800 passengers quickly. When I got to the Hertz office in the Frankfurt Haupbahnhof, the office was open but the garage was closed, and they hadn't given the clerk the keys for my car. I had to go back to the airport to rent a car, but Hertz didn't have one, nor did Sixt, nor did Europecar, so I got one from Enterprise at six times the price. I went to Hertz the next day and they had no cars. Finally, they had a car on Monday, after I had spent nearly three times at Enterprise for two days, than the entire price for a week from Hertz. I hope Hertz will refund the prepaid fee for the first reservation that they gave away to somebody else.Reviewed 2017 Jun 26

Had to change vehiclesPros:Had a Ford Fiesta while in Europe. The car was good.Cons:After having the car for a short time, received an email that said I needed to return the vehicle so it could be returned to Ford. They knew how long I would have it, so why give me a vehicle that I need to exchange for another one. I did not have the additional insurance and the quote they gave was ridiculous it was thousands!! Hit a pothole that destroyed a tire and rim, that cost more than $600.Reviewed 2017 May 26
