The whole pickup process was a disaster. It took almost an hour to complete. We will never rent from dollar again. A total lack of organization. Where do we begin. Took us 3 hours in line to get our rental which was longer than my actual flight from Boston to Orlando. Then after waiting in their line for 3 hours the staff was rude and not very helpful. They then tried to push upcharges which I decline to only find out on my credit card bill that they charged us twice for the rental and on top of that another $150 in fees!! Drop off was fine. Getting the car took 4.5 hours. The line to car place was over 500 yards long. Then they gave us the wrong car. Should have been a SUv. They gave us a minivan. Then they gave us an 81 dollar charge on gas when the guy at counter said it was a 40 dollar charge. The whole experience was awful. Kids and Grandma had to wait 4.5 hours with me. Airport restaurants closed early we could not even eat. Ervyone staving. I will never rent a car from Dollar ever again.Fox

The front desk at pickup was terrible. Waited over an hour because their system had collapsed. They charged me over a hundred dollars over the quoted price on Kayak because the person claimed that even though I had chosen to use the insurance provided by my credit card specifically for car rentals, the “system” added the insurance coverage automatically and it was “take it or leave it” and after a 12 hour flight, customs, immigration a HOT shuttle to FOX and a a wait in line for over an hour, the choice presented by the rude customer “service” was just Insult added to Injury. Took the car for overpriced rental and an additional $200 deposit which is still to be refunded. Overall, I chose FOX over others for a supposed savings of around $80. Should have chosen another company. Just under a month before this rental, I rented from Alamo on sight at airport and they charged me what the website price was. Should have stuck with them but chose FOX for the $80 savings but at the end I paid over $200 more that I would have with other companies. Regret this experience probably like a tourist regrets picking up a girl in a shady Bangkok bar because at the end he doesn’t get what he expected and paid dearly for his mistake!!2.0 Poor

The 1st vehicle we used had electrical issues and the battery died and key fob did not work. They replaced the 1st vehicle with another with 76,000 + miles. Everything. First of all it took forever for the shuttle to come. Then when we got to ACE they claimed that all their cars were gone because no one returned them. So we needed to upgrade and that we were going to have to pay that. They said that they called and talked to me about it but no one did. It was nearly midnight and I was trying to figure out what to do because I didn’t plan for this extra expense( the upgrade was double what I budgeted) the people were less then helpful. They didn’t try helping in any way and we were pretty much stranded in the middle of Orlando. There was 2 other people who had booked and they were told the same thing. This is nothing but a Scam. We were able to finally get an Uber at midnight. Worst company EVER.3.2 Poor

Booked rental online for a one way trip from FL to NJ - tried to use my debit card to pay, but they don't accept it for one way...they do not accept cash either. I missed reading the fine print about this, so be careful or you'll get stranded at MCO if you don't have a major credit card. It took awhile to get through when we called from the airport When we were filling out the paperwork they charged an additional $121 because they said we had to pay for an additional driver. We said no we only wanted my husband to drive. They said because I was the one filling out the application we had to pay for 2 drivers. Will never use this place again!5.2 Fair

Pros:
The staff were well dressed and the facility was clean. The air conditioning was cold and the water was free. That's where the accolades stop.Cons:
My $77 weekend car rental turned into $212 because they claimed that I picked the car up later than I said I would and then dropped it off later than I said I would, neither of which were true. They also would not let me leave with the car unless I agreed to pay $15 per day for liability insurance even though I had proof of full coverage from my AMEX. DO NOT RENT YOUR CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE. Not if you value your money.2.0 Poor

Rented the car online using KAYAK. The total cost for the vehicle was 55 dollars. When I pick up the car, I always decline the insurance and gas option. When I did, they required me to show proof of insurance. I did not have any proof of insurance from my company and I do not care my personal insurance card with me. So I could not get the car unless I purchased their insurance. The car was horrible. It had a bad vibration, it made a horrible noise, the air did not work one time until I figured out the key had to be in the exact right spot for the blower/air to work. It had a hose hanging down below the vehicle. At the end of the week, my 55 dollar rental ended up costing 180 dollars. I always use KAYAK for my rentals....I wish they would pull Priceless Car Rentals off of their site. I will never use Priceless again.8.0 Very good

Cons:
Took about 30 min to check in at the counter. It was only one person in front of me. Both the customer and the clerk in the front counter were very slow at rent a car processing. The other clerk got on the phone pretending not seeing other standing clients. Office environment very boring and basic not even a tiny green plant or poster hanging. Aunts are marching on bathroom floor. beware of insurance policy add up at the counter before even they ask you what kind of policy you like to carry... they did upgrade me to another car because of my long waiting. However these people at the rent a car they don't get it! Efficiency and fast processing matters when the time is of essence. We are not there to test drive a intermediate car we need a quick ride and process to catch up with the business meeting etc,...One location in Orlando Airport

Pros:
Easy way to rent a car- no lines and no paper! All with an app. Both drivers very friendly! I typically wait in a long rental line in Orlando MCO airport, but not for SilverCar!Cons:
