Pros: We stayed here 1 night in room 121. It was a suite with easy access to the swimming pool. The back door lead right to the swimming pool. The pool looks bigger in the picture but it's still a excellent size. The staff was great and Sunday brunch was delicious. Good hotel to relax and get away from the regular 9-5.

Cons: I had called ahead to make sure I coukd check in late, but when i got there, I couldn't find the front desk person (or anyone) for 5 minutes, then when I finally found her, she found my reservation, but couldn't tell what rooms were available & so had to call her manager, and long story short, it was just over half an hour between when I walked in the front door and walked into my room. She said it was her second day, which I can only imagine is really overwhelming, so I was trying to be patient, and I've had good experiences every other time I've stayed there, but i have to say, this one left a sour taste in my mouth.

Pros: The staff was very helpful when it was found out that the website I had booked through hadn't communicated with the hotel fully and they had to go digging for my reservation. But I got a room, it was very nice, even if a bit cramped, but that didn't detract from my stay. The grounds were very nice. I enjoyed their exercise room, it was more filled out than most hotels. I just wish I had had warmer weather to enjoy the pool and more time to enjoy every other feature of Hayes Mansion.

Pros: Like most people I want a clean room, comfy bed and staff that cares about their guests. This hotel had all of that. I also travel with a roku and some hotels make that a pain that do. This hotel had solid WiFi and the tv wasn’t mounted which made for an easy install/removal.

At first, I was surprised at how highly a motel of this style and price was rated on every website we checked. Low on options, we booked it anyway, albeit skeptically. But thankfully for Flamingo, they squashed our skepticism upon check-in and we realized the reviews were exactly right, if not high enough. I've stayed at many similar motels through the years, and usually you get what you pay for, but not at Flamingo because here you get more. Great service, good location, clean rooms, incredibly polite and attentive staff made our trip to San Jose perfect! A+

Cons: True price I paid was not worth the room. It was a very crampt room with ancient furniture. The rooms were a boring shade of beige and our window view was another building being constructed. It's layout seemed more that of a comfort inn with a price tag of 90 dollars a night rather than 150. It's not worth the price, if you have a car go to a comfort inn and save some money cause got the same experience.

Cons: Breakfast was awful. Poor selection for a “buffet” they need to call it a continental breakfast which is what it is. The breakfast staff was inattentive and I had to go into the staff cubby to dig for cutlery and a napkin. Also, they wouldn’t accommodate a late checkout but did give me an extra 30 Minutes until 1230 however they clearly didn’t communicate with each other because the cleaning crew knocked aggressively twice and the front desk called twice to ask why I hadn’t left. I was only in the hotel for about 15 hours yet I was left with a pretty bad taste in my mouth and did not fee welcome there.

Convenient parking (though it costs extra even without valet) garage connected to the hotel. Only a block away from Original Joe's. Despite a few quirks, I would stay here again.

Also, the hotel smells like the air freshener they pipe in at many of the Las Vegas hotels (could be a plus if you like that). Also, the choice of "aromatherapy" soaps are awful--why not go the clean, fresh scent of soap instead of burned wood?

Pros: I really Liked its location, we were attending a event at the convention center and the hotel is actually leads into the convention center. That was great! We didn't have to walk at all. All staff members were extremely nice and willing to offer any help that they could offer. The hotel was very busy due to the event, but the staff still dealt with customers in a very polite and friendly manner. I also wanted to say thank you to this hotel for not treating us any different than there other guest, we have been to other hotels and due to our ethnic background have been treated like we were some how less. This hotel did an excellent job treating everybody well and respectively Thank you so much!

Cons: There are several drawbacks to this place: - it's right by the light rail tracks which turn a corne around 2 sides of the hotel. And there are 2 stops. So it is noisy. It stops about midnight and starts early morning so bring earplugs or expect to be woken up. Or both. - the walls are thin so even if the train doesn't wake you the neighbors will! - the hotel is quite expensive -- it's average for the area but then they slug you with a $25 per night parking fee which makes it expensive.

Pros: Front desk staff was very personable. I called ahead to find out about parking since I was driving a van and wasn't sure about parking clearance. He advised it was an open air parking lot. When I got to the front desk to check in, he remembered my name. Gave us free waters, asked me about my day, why I was there. Said I went hiking that day and gave recommendations for other hiking spots. Was very pleasant. Was refreshing actually such nice people and great service. Maids in the hall were very nice with smiles. Coffee downstairs was great. I will definitely be back if I am in San jose.

Pros: The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The location was ideal. There are lots of restaurants and activity in the neighborhood, which was fun. The staff was very accommodating, which was appreciated.
Cons: We added another day and the hotel took it as an opportunity to bill us almost double for it, using "the price depends of availability", although it was clear that the hotel was far from full. That was not a good feeling. Also, the restaurant had really inconvenient hours, closing the bar at 11:00 and closing at 10:00 for breakfast. I get that the expense may be too hight to be full service 24/7, but keeping a light bar menu and the bar open for people to come in any time and get something to eat and a drink would be a big plus.

Cons: (1) The materials for bathroom and bathtub look very cheap...like Motel 6 (2) Soap scum were very where inside the bathroom, around the walls, in between the tiles, on the floor...yuck..yuck...yuck. (3) Dust was very where inside the bathroom, on top of base board, surrounding water faucet... (4) Faucet inside the bathtub was rusty and dirty. This should be easily to take care of with $10 spray paint for home depot. (5) Rest room located on the first floor was not clean or not being cleaned regularly. Trash was overflown and just can't believe this happened at the Hyatt hotel. I would never come back here again.

Pros: The staff was amazing at accommodating our requests. I got the exact room I had hoped for. Convenient mini fridge, microwave, and disposable plates, silverware and paper towels were stocked in the room. There was a TV and a wall mounted radio, although it would have been better if the radio had a USB connection so we could play clearer music through our phones. Never got a chance to use the spa tub feature, but it looked like it would have been nice. We were literally right next door to CVS Pharmacy for any last minute necessities. I was also excited that Whole Foods was a 5 minute walk away at most. We had an easy walk to the SAP Arena where we watched the concert with the convenience of leaving our vehicle in the parking lot provided by the hotel. That saved about $25 in itself, and saved us from the concert traffic afterward. We were pleasantly surprised by the hot, cooked breakfast they provided from 6:30 to 9:30 am. Bacon, eggs, fruits, pancakes and french toast, plus other items we were too full to try. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are seeing a show at the SAP Arena.

You could hear people running around and cleaning going on during certain hours, but it didn't disturb my sleep. Overall, I had a very positive experience at this hotel.

Pros: This is the best place to stay if you don't want to drive when attending an event at the SAP Center, which is less than a 10-minute walk. I also like that the place is very clean, the hotel and our room. My friend was in town to attend a concert with me and we were both very happy with the accommodations, especially since we just wanted a clean, safe place to stay and this was the place. The complimentary breakfast was pretty decent too. They had hot and cold options.

Pros: The front desk worker was very nice. She asked why we were there and was able to carry on a conversation with a smile. There were a few workers on the grounds who also were plesant and said good morning to us.

This place needs to be demolished and rebuilt and taken off the hotel search engines. If you want to check off surviving the night in a rough looking area? this your place and an added bonus of roaches, bed bugs, high probability is where the prostitutes check in because they got to go somewhere. It were people " living" in the hotel who would stare at you as you walk in and out of your room and to your vehicle. We first arrive at the hotel there were four police officers looking for certain person was living in the hotel. There was a security guy that was very useless after hours who would always questioning you and give you a dirty look when you wanted into the hotel. I would never stay here again know what I recommend this motel anybody pay a couple more dollars and stay at any other hotel if you know what's good for you.

Cons: Roaches,drug activity,I woke up to a fight outside my room door. Two females,this was at 2 am. No security I went to the front and nobody at the front desk 10 minutes I waited. The next morning at 10a the cable went out.I called front desk he said it happens alot. Couldn't tell me wen it would be fixed.I left for the whole day back that night alot of activity in the parking lot,people hanging outside rooms and on stairs.I would not stay here again and do not recommend this place to anyone.
