We have booked electric car. Car was Jaguar I-Pace, excellent car. All other staff from Sixt were terrible. - the documents and receipt has not been provided and even sent by email as has been promised. - car was completely dirty - there has NON instructions or Manuals for Electric car been provided at all. - at Netherlands there are a thousands of charging stations, but almost ALL of them require Personal Charging Card. It is not possible to buy it or order. Because SIXT did not provide it to us - we could not charge the car and must drive it not to where we need, but where was some charging station accepted APP with Credit card... When we put car on charger, we hired taxi to go to out stay place... and next day taxi to go to charge back... Overall, it was absolutely terrible experience with absolutely NO help from SIXT> They said - we were UNLUCKY !!!!.Reviewed 2022 Aug 02

The price for different drop off location was way too steep. I wanted to return the car to Amstedam Rai instead of Schiphol, they asked for extra 20€. Other than that all is good.Reviewed 2022 Aug 01

Good: The pickup and return process were fast. Car was pretty new and clean. Bad: i ordered BMW, and they gave me Huynday. Also, there were very small letters in my reservation that it includes only 3rd party insurance, but I, my family and the car are not covered. It could have been much better if someone had remembered to give me a card to charge the car. I was left totally stranded in the province Groningen, not able to use the charging stations. My two credit cards (MC and Visa) were not recognized here in NL. I had to depend on total strangers to charge the car. Friends had to step up to to connect me to their bank account for a card. The lady at the Appingedam Hyundai Garage helped to apply for a card. Something to be learned Sixt! On a lighter note, I loved the car.Reviewed 2022 Jul 23

I enjoyed driving an EV. I did not believe explaining the charging system was sufficient. The plugsurfing site, app, general accessibility and price was neither clear nor transparent. That’s not SIXT’s fault but they can do a better job explaining. Will rent an EV again though.Reviewed 2022 Jul 18

Poor service, No recognition of corporate discounts or other discounts. Cancelled confirmed type of vehicle and had to accept upgrade of not rent. Took advantage of lack of rental cars to jack up pricing. Will never be renting from them again.Reviewed 2022 Jul 17

Electric car charging capability for American traveler was an issue. I tried three different networks without any success. This is still a new technology needing further development to be fully functional. I tried to replace the car with gas vehicle, however Sixt representative was rude and not helpful.
