Cons: No one cleaned our room during the stay and the gym area was small.

Cons: Room was not as clean as would like. Bathroom was not clean and the sheets were visibly soiled.

Cons: I wish the indoor pool was heated.

Cons: Roms are small but convenient.

Cons: Did like the room itself. Comfy and good for us. Did not like the fact that the pool closed so early and that it was "closed for maintenance" two of the three days we were there. It would have been nice to go swimming since it was over 100 degrees outside everyday. The beach is not my goto choice when I think of swimming. We chose this room with swimming and a bar in mind.

Cons: Requested extra blankets. Receive extra towels instead. Could not add to our Hilton Honors points by booking through Kayak. BUT only through Kayak could I book two nights. When I tried to book directly the hotel only had one night available.

Cons: The water in the shower didn't get hot, visible damage in the bathroom. Our carpet was damp when we got there. No mini fridge or safe in the room. Not one piece of artwork in the whole room, very stark and un welcoming. We needed a pet friendly room and this is the first time I've ever booked one, they don't tell you anywhere when you make the reservation that pets are not to be left unattended in the room at any time. And also didn't tell me that when I called to verify the reservation and to let them know that we were bringing two small dogs. So after driving 14 hours and booking a non refundable room for $400, they made me sign something at the front desk saying that if I did leave my dog in the room that they would call animal control to safely remove the dog. We were traveling for a wedding, what was I supposed to do? So the second day we were there, while at a wedding function, I got a call saying the dogs were barking and I needed to come back to the hotel and take them to a kennel if I was going to leave them unattended. I would have taken them to a kennel in my home town and left them while we were out of town if I would have known any of that. Absolutely ridiculous. And then the hotel manager had the nerve to tell me that he would work with me when I said we couldn't make it back to the hotel for about 30 minutes. You better work with me because last time I checked, I was the one paying you guys, not the other way around.

Cons: Room had a horrible odor. Air purifier was provided by staff, but had no lasting effect; had to be run daily for several hours.

Cons: The restaurant, food took too long.

Cons: Allergic to pets, and room was on let floor. Resulted in bad allergies during stay.

Cons: Some minor issues with plumbing.

Cons: There was no microwave or small refrigerator to cook and store food in. We only stayed 1 night so it wasnt really that big if a deal.

Cons: Dirty room , room service didnt even vacuum the room or take the trash out. When i asked for a cookie without nuts they still gave me ones with nuts on 4 different time! I ended up getting sick because of the nuts. Really wish i choose a different place to stay. Lesson learned !

Cons: Even when the restaurant and bar are not busy it takes an unacceptable amount of time to order anything. Maybe the staff has so many other task to complete along with how they put the orders in to how long it takes to make a payment, very disappointing.

Cons: this is an old hotel so if you are looking for modern don't come. the pipes are noisy. there is no safe in the room, the mattress is just passable. bathroom is small but if you live in a Tiny house this will seam large to you. one small elevator with old carpeting, so if a guess is bringing in a clothing cart to go to 5th floor you will either have to wait or take stairs, (stair cases are locked with your room key)

Cons: They need to get some new bikes. The ones they have are in minimal condition. This was also true last year. We ended up renting better ones from the hotel next door.

Cons: Check-in is at 4:00pm that's rather late!

Cons: For the $1,000 I spent for two nights I expected more. The room only had a Murphy bed, and the walls were paper thin, so I could hear my neighbors' conversations clearly. The rooftop pool was nice, but I was chased down as soon as I arrived by a staff member who forced me to empty my water bottle as no outside food or drink was allowed. Housekeeping was a bit of a problem as well. I slept in the first day and then went to the beach. When my room wasn't cleaned by 3pm I called and asked if it could be done by 5pm and they said yes. When I returned at 6;30pn to clean up for dinner reservations, housekeeping was still in the process of cleaning my room. Also, the activities desk where you get your towel and beach chair was fairly aggressive about a time share promotion they were offering.

Cons: Room was dirty,old and not well kept. Breakfast was not included. Exteremly overpriced!!

Cons: The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. I was really surprised by this. It took me until well after 2am to finally get so tired that the comfort didn't matter and I fell asleep.

Cons: The bed was a little hard for me. Didn't care that you have to wear a colllared shirt at the hotel restaurant that's on the beach. So we never ate at the hotel. We went to other hotels to eat.

Cons: Noisy outside of elevator room. coffee pot had to be replaced, didn't work. But, most of all, the staff never even apologized when I called a few days later to tell them that Priceline (Kayak, thus Travelweb) had already charged me for my room that I booked online. Oh, no. They told me that that's just the way it is...sometimes they don't get the info in time and it's my responsibility to get ahold of Priceline and make sure they call the hotel. Not even an apology. Took three calls to get them to understand what happened. Then after talking to Priceline and get a resolution started (which still has not been resolved), I called back and left the general manager a message explaining and left my number. No, not even a phone call back after two days not. Hilton sucks. I will never stay there again, or any of their hotels. I paid $216 for one night and got double billed to my card and it still is not resolved. I am going to write the corporate office. This is horrible customer service for a hotel of this supposed caliber.

Cons: no access to facilities, rooftop pool was closed for renovations, beach front under construction as well....i could chalk it up to bad timing but a heads up before purchase would have been nice....

Cons: The beach itself was extremely crowded, which we were expecting with visiting a tourist location. If you don't like crowds, do not visit Virginia Beach in the summer.

Cons: When we first walked in we were relieved, the place looked decent. halfway up the stairs all you could smell was pot. Our room was across the hall from the laundry room. Our bed shook everytime someone started their laundry, our room wasnt cleaned, old used soap bar left in the bathroom, our bed was not made with clean sheets. Yellow stains and small holes on the ceiling tiles and a moldy smell filled the room. The maids bickered outside our room and left a huge bin full of garbage right outside our door for most of the day, it reaked. Horrible experience.

Cons: The breakers went out. And caused the heat to go out. It was in the 30's outside. Our room was interior so it wasn't too bad, but not comfy.

Cons: The hotel has a very, very small parking lot in site which was always full. So we had to park two blocks away every time and walk back and forth. The worst part for me was that our room had no windows! On our first night we discovered a huge section of black mold growing on the ceiling tiles. Thankfully the hotel fixed the tile the next day.

Cons: There was no window in the room; I'm pretty sure that's illegal.

Cons: The staff was discourteous and rude upon arrival. After finding our way through the maze of hallways that led to our room we were greeted by a rotten smell and a horrible feeling of claustrophobia. It's an old building with a poorly done new but chipped paint job and with all the rooms crammed together so tightly I could hear my neighbors snores. We were on the third story and our window had no screen. The bed felt like a slab of rock. I would have rather slept outside, on the ground, at least the dirt has a little more give to it. After all the horrible things this hotel was so gracious enough to share with us, the worst part was the other guests. Music, screaming, yeehaws, and many other drunken debaucheries echoed off of the walls and reverbed through our room all throughout the night and into the early hours of the morning. I've never stayed anywhere that had made me so infuriated that I had to write a review. This hotel is awful and I would highly recommend against staying here unless of course you want a cheap place to crash after drinking all night on the ocean front.

Cons: The room was small. There was only 11 inches between the bed and dresser to get to the bathroom. No window in the room so the ac was the only way to cool the room and it wasn't strong at all. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Guess I am just used to staying in a larger room that I can walk regularly that has at least a window. Also additional parking was two blocks away, not bad if you don't mind walking but having older members of our party we had to drop them off before parking.

Cons: No WiFi, no pool, very small rooms with dirty windows. Very tiny bathroom with no where to put toiletries.

Cons: First of all I paid for a queen bed instead of a double bed. But when I got to the room it was a double. I told the front desk and they said it was indeed a queen. I assured them that it was definitely a double. My feet were hanging off the edge and I'm 6'2". They said it was "their" queen size. So... I guess they just made their own bed standards which are different from everyone else's so they can sell you a double bed room at a queen bed price. Glad I didn't get the double bed! Also, the heat in the room didn't work at all. The front desk said they called someone to fix it but that never happened.

Cons: Honestly there were no dislikes. We are actually planning a trip to come back and stay there again for a longer time.

Cons: Be advised, not all the rooms have windows. When I got there it seemed alright but as I looked around I found lots of garbage left over from the previous guest in the room tucked away into drawers and on top of the wardrobe. There was a solid amount of sand in the shower as well as some hair that also did not belong to me. The people next to me were incredibly loud and clearly intoxicated for it being a Monday night at midnight. I had booked the hotel for two nights but ended up only staying one. To their credit, the night concierge did take care of it quickly when I went downstairs to let them know everything. However when I got back upstairs to my room my keycard didn't work in the door anymore.

Cons: Pillows. Air conditioner makes noise even if not in use. Although that kind of served as white noise.

Cons: If I had to use the room for an extended period, I would have wanted more space. Small room with a large bathroom. But hey, you don't go on trips to stay in the room!

Cons: The lady at the front desk wasn't very friendly and I had to ask tons of questions. She seemed annoyed.

Cons: It was filthy it smelled awful. You could spell the cigarettes from the room downstairs. We felt it necessary to check for bed bugs twice over. The box spring were horribly stained. You could tell things had been patched up to save money as opposed to being fixed professionally. hald the outlets didn't work. They never gave us enough towels and wash clothes. When we decided we would call to get more the phone didn't work. The lock on our door didn't work. We propped up a chair under the handle and I slept with my gun in hand. The air barely worked. The water pressure in the shower gave only a trickle making it hard to rinse off. Some of the people at this hotel were completely sketchy and made us feel uncomfortable. Lots of stares and watching our every move. I'm pretty sure there were drugs being sold out of one of the rooms. The continental breakfast was a joke. And their laundry facilities weren't working either. As I went down to scope out the breakfast situation I saw another guest talking with a front desk employee/manager about a complaint and he was painfully rude to her. She wasn't being belligerent or anything. Watching that happen let me know I shouldn't even bother with my list of complaints so we just did the best we could to enjoy our trip. Thankfully we spent most of our time out at the beach and only slept and showered there so that helped. I never expected anything spectacular but this place is unacceptable. I would've forked out more money to stay somewhere else had I know. It was a learning experience that's for sure.

Cons: There are roaches! Our microwave is old with no buttons and one broken knob. The fridge didn't have shelves.
