Finally, someone at the airport helped in re-booking our flights but I have yet to have anyone give me an answer regarding compensation! In addition, we are traveling with an infant which isn't easy but we had the bassinet seat on our original flight. Now it's sold out for the flight tomorrow and no one will assist in trying to help get us better seats. I understand things are out of your companies control but being in an airport with an 18-month baby isn't easy and no one in this company has made this crazy travel schedule easier. Cons: "As our first flight got delayed, me and 28 other pallengers flying to israel told the airline agents that we would miss our connection flightfrom turkey to israel. The supervisor assured us that we have nothing to worry about, as the second plane would wait as we are many passengers.however when we landed in turkey the connection flight had already left without us. When trying to speak to turkish airline representatives about getting a new flight, they were super UNhelpful, we waited in very long lines and were required so go to a few different parts of the airport to get a new ticket, a process that was not friendly at all and very frustrating. After about 2 hours of waiting on lines, i got a flight that required me to wait 7 hours in the airport and measley voucher for a very small fast food meal. When i asked to be admitted to the lounge (as i waited 7 hours in the airport due to the airlines mistake), they did not agree to grant me access. When i asked to at least get the wifi code from the lounge so i can tell my familly that i am stuck on turkey, this was also rejected. While waiting in the airport, i spoke to many other people on other flights who had been stuck in the airport under very simillar circumstances, some even worse than mine. I also have many friends who have experiences simillar experiences with turkish airlines. If you are looking for a reliable flight, that will get you to your destination on time and will help you out when a problem occurs, Turkish airlines is deffinetelly NOT the flight for you. I personally will never fly with them again after the way i was treated."

It took 2 hours before anyone would actually help me to organize my next flight to Milan. By the time I arrived in Milan, my family had left worried sick not knowing what happened to me. I then had to find a bus to take me to Lugano, another 25 Euros, and not to mention all the stress to me and my family. I then decided not to put myself through the same situation on my way back to Tel Aviv and purchased new ticket with another Airline company. Overall, the whole experience was a nightmare."

At Heathrow it was a bit chaotic as all classes seemed to be mixed up so it was difficult for priority passengers such as disabled to get through everyone crowded up to the desks and the same applied for business class as well. The IFE wasn't too bad but it could be better. Bahrain airport is a mess and the boarding gates seem to be more like corridors with seats in them so it's difficult again when they call for business class passengers as unless you are already at the front you have to try to work your way through. I believe the airport is being rebuilt. If so then things will probably improve. I'm not sure why there needs to be 2 security checks within a few yards of each other when transiting between flights. they don't have this problem in Doha."

Cons: "We boarded around midnight and after supper, I am accustomed to a few hours of the lights turned off for rest. Even though I requested the crew said it was not policy and I should use the yellow mask (which sadly does not block out the light). I think a few hours off dimmed lights would greatly enhance comfort levels."

Cons: "I found the staff to be very slow, on all 4 flights it tool them an extensive amount of time to walk down with drinks and food service. I was also sitting under the overhead that had blankets and they kept waking me up through out the flight when trying to get a blanket. I wanted to perches a watch that no all the flights had and when they did I couldn't ad ou don't take Credit Card. Flying from Israel to South Africa all I had was Shekel and Rands. How was I to know that I needed to carry Dollars On me."

Pros: "Boarding at the gate was atrocious. Very slow and not organized and we left late because of that. The crew was very nice. Food was good. Entertainment was ok. Movies were old and could have been up to date not enough bathrooms per amount of people on board (relative to other aircrafts)."

Cons: "The food was horrible. My TV didn't work and although I asked for it to be reset several times, the crew kept forgetting. The flight was supposed to be 9 hours, but we left late and it was 11+ hours. I understand things happen, but the crew gave no explanation for the delay or elongated flight. Last, but not least, when we landed in Newark we waited 2 hours for our luggage to come out. We landed at 9:50pm and didn't receive our baggage until 11:50pm. My friend and I were not even the last to get our bags. Overall this was the worst flight experience I've ever had."
Cons: "Hi, I have asked 3 members of the crew to get me a glass of water from the time I boarded the flight. It took 45 minutes for them to hand me a glass of water. I have to wait till they all got settled. Only when them to start the service they were able to give me some water. I was really thirsty otherwise, I wouldn't have to ask for three members. I think it's important that they respond more promptly and do a quick service considering the long flight we have."

Pros: "The seats were OK but not as good as in the larger airplanes. Vegetarian option for food was good. Airplane was half empty which made moving around quite easy and nice. Flight attendents were willing to help!"

Cons: "Ethiopia Airport is ruff. Needs bathrooms renovated and more places for waiting for flights the smoking lounge can be smelled through the hole airport"
Pros: "The crew was very nice, beer on the flight is always a nice touch , plenty of food and beverages. Nice collection of movies and music. Food is OK. We had a 10 Hour connection at Addis Ababba, and we were provided with a city tour at the first time, and hotel at the second. I liked the Injira :)"
Cons: "Overall, it's kinda depressing to fly with Ethiopian, the whole experience, from the colors of the uniforms, to the big African people, there was not enough room to seat next to other person, we and some people we met on the flight experienced the same thing. Addis Ababba was very not welcoming, we had a small tour at the city, the people are aggressive, we heard a lot of "farengie" all the time - "foreigners", everything was very expensive, because tourist have a lot of money... they are not afraid to touch you, even at the face. if somebody offers you guiding, they will ask for money later on and will take you to expensive places."
Pros: "Plane from AA to tA seats very cramped and seats do not recline."
Cons: "I ordered a vegan food. The crew had difficulties in delivering this simple thing"
Cons: "Entertainment system was limited with poor sound quality even in Business. Monitor is too distant in business. Food was mediocre. No announcement was made 45 minutes before landing in Tel Aviv, just an announcement at 30 minutes forbidding movement to the restroom. Tea and coffee were not offered frequently in Business even though several seats were empty and attendants were not overwhelmed. Announcements in English were confused and confusing. NO SIGNS at gate explaining 26 A was for business and 26 B was for economy and these gates were a 3 minute walk from each other. No staff to advise until finally an announcement. Lounge is ‘tired’ with limited food selections. Disappointing all around."
Cons: "Since it is our Airlines priority should have been given to its passengers. Flight was awfully delayed thereby wasting more than half a day. Return flight was worse. We landed at 1.30 pm and luggage was not in the belt it was supposed to be as announced . It’s a shame that we had to endure sleepless nights and miserable time in the airport. Swore never to travel by AirIndia again."

Cons: "The service is very very poor compared with any other competitor in each and every aspect including fare and service. They should be ashamed to charge/ sell the seats which have problems. The entertainment system wasn’t working for me for a paid seat and unfortunately they also couldn’t turn it off completely until half of my journey and finally they covered the monitors with blankets to stop the light so that we were able to sleep just for 3 hours out of 15 hour journey. Again this is for a paid seat and they proudly say it’s the same issue for atleast 40% of the seats"

After 90 minutes of fuming they rebooked us for the following day and put us up in the crappiest, dirtiest, noisiest budget hotel we've stayed in over 6 months in India, Myanmar and Thailand."

Pros: "Around 10:30 am passengers on my flight who did not have any checkin luggage were offered an earlier flight, which was excellent and quick thinking."
Cons: "It was Boghi in Chennai on the day of my travel unfortunately and smog filled the air reducing visibility for all. The flight was originally scheduled for 9:30 AM and was, understandably, severely delayed even by the time I arrived at the airport. It would be ignorant of me to fault the airlines for abiding by safety regulations enforced by ATC. The execution of the plane transfer could have been far better. I strongly suggest that a procedure is written to reduce stress for all parties involved in such situations. It seemed quite unprofessional as there were passengers waiting, confused about what to do next as we weren't given clear instructions on how to transfer terminals, go through security checks, and acquire the appropriate boarding passes. While the air india employees were agile in their actions, they were visibly uncertain, which did not inspire confidence in us passengers. Once I had boarded the alternate flight, I was appreciative, but I strongly suggest that for everyone's sake a precedent is set."

Pros: "We liked the courtesy of the staff (ground and air) loved the checkin luggage allowance of 25 kgs instead of 15 kgs in all other Indian airlines except jet air and free food"
