Cons: "Poorly organized boarding at Miami. Agent did NOT speak clearly. Uncomfortable long walk outside uphill ramps and steps to board on the a tarmac. Purser’s PA system only worked occasionally. Most communications relayed from rear. My first class seat in row 3 was broken partially reclined."

Pros: "Frequent updates on lightning in the area ( causing delays). Full service on board while we were wIting for weather to clear. Very good i flight service."

Pros: "Fine for a domestic flight. Normally, American Airlines offer a small snack to go with the drinks. But on this particular flight, they went the United way and offered nothing but drinks. Crew was pleasant enough during the flight, although they didn't greet half of the passengers entering or exiting the plane."
Cons: "Flight was a little late taking off and therefore getting to Denver. But there was no announcement about it. There was one announcement from the captain, but it was so soft that I couldn't hear anything. Upon landing and arriving at the gate, we stood there for a while with no lights on and seatbelt sign on, but no explanation of what was going on. There was no welcome to Denver message either. Maybe their announcement system was down."

Pros: "Stairs cause me tremendous pain due to a 4 year misdiagnosed ruptured SI joint. Usually, we have no way of knowing that our flight will end with a downstairs walk rather than a ramp. I emailed American Airlines last week but hadn’t gotten a response yet so when they announced that we would exit by stairs, I was almost in tears as I gathered my belongings. To my surprise, American Airlines had a ramp for us to use. I don’t know it it was a coincidence or if they responded that quickly knowing I was on the plane through todays’s technology. I will be a fan and a customer forever."

Cons: "We booked our airline tickets at the same time and our seats were separate. This was the first time flying for my wife so she was very upset when we found out our seats were not together. We had to pay an extra $60 to have the seats moved to an exit seat."

Pros: "Nothing!"
Cons: "Flight was delayed due to poor maintenance that caused issues before take off. Of course safety is important but that is why maintenance should be done routinely and prioritised accordingly. The pilot on the first delayed flight (new airplane) was clueless, his exact words "... our analysis team from midwest needs an hour to figure out whether we can fly or not" This is after we have boarded the flight. Then after about an hour of sitting in the plane, he says "rumor has it that a new plane will be towed in..." What? Why didn't they stop boarding and just get the new plane in. And I don't appreciate the emails saying flight is delayed without giving any reason for it. AA could have certainly done a better job of communicating the issue. Further the flight crew including the pilot were acting like victims. If it were an Asian carrier like Singapore Airlines, the crew would be smiling and providing assitance courteously since they represent the airlines. Not flying them again."

Pros: "Efficient and on time! Courteous and professional travel assistants. Nice job. Nice new planes too!"
Cons: "Traveling as family of 5 - booked tickets two months ahead and we did not sit together despite me selecting seats when I booked. They were cheap seats so I can’t complain too much but felt that could have been accomplished given the advance booking."

Pros: "Loved the ease at check-in, self check-in."
Cons: "My entertainment unit didn't work, the sound was muffled and the image quality and touch screen very poor. I sat in the last row and couldn't recline my seat. The dinner was okay, with a red wine that was very sour. Breakfast was a joke and so sweet I couldn't eat it."

Cons: "Every leg of my journey was frought with issues. From weather delays to maintenance issues. The biggest issue I have is that invariably when I fly American, if I go through Charlotte, is on the whole inconvenient. It takes way to Long to get to a gate when you land. And while everyone is apologetic, I would prefer they didn't have to be."

Pros: "Started when 7 am flight from Knoxville was delayed - multiple times until finally at 4 PM there were no options. Nobody with AA saying a single word all this time even when asked. Finally called their customer service line only to learn that I could get on another flight that left in a few minutes. Door was still open but gate agent argued with the lady on 800 line about who could ticket faster. By time they finished arguing the door closed. That began a 14 hour nightmare of bumping between flights and delays and the inevitable lost luggage. Paid for $300 hotel room at Vancouver that I will get to stay in for 4 hours. Will NEVER fly American again"
