In addition, the new planes for shorter legs, like Lisboa to Rome, they remove the reclining feature of the seats after the first emergency exits all the way to the end of the plane. The headrest is flat and un-adjustable. Uncomfortable. TAP ordered these new planes with these features and they are making the flights really unpleasant. This strategy is not working. I would think again before booking with TAP. The crew was efficient and boarding was good despite of all requirements by the countries. The food was ok."

Cons: "This was my first and last time flying with Royal Air Maroc. The plane was cramped and filthy with the most uncomfortable seats I've ever encountered on a plane. The plane was kept at a very warm temperature, so I was sweaty for most of the flight (I'm usually very cold; it's rare that I find a space too warm). The crew gave me a hard time when I requested the vegetarian meal, claiming that they didn't have one (except they did, which they produced minutes later). I've never been on an international flight that didn't have a vegetarian option. THEN, we left JFK late, and I missed my connection to another Air Maroc flight by TWO minutes. They shut the gate and wouldn't reopen it. Multiple people needed to make this connection; any other airline would have held the plane for the entire five minutes necessary. In conclusion: terrible service and filthy, uncomfortable planes."

Cons: "trip of 26 February was cancelled and no one informed me.I was in the airport with my luggage waiting for another trip. customer service was not existent and inefficient .from 26 February until the 2 of march ,hotels and taxi took all my money. Friday the 2 march I took the fly from Tunis to Casablanca: boarding was with delay more than 60 minutes .food was mediocre and fade and comfort is a matter of chance."

Cons: "I disliked the trip from Morocco to Banjul. Very cramped and the bathroom was filthy. Also there was no one at the gate to inform us of anything cocerning the connection. Just began boarding at shortly before departure time. There was also no room for my carry-on bag and so it had to go in the hull of the plane."
Cons: "Boarding in Casa Blanca was incredibly disorganized and lengthy, with no communication from airline staff to help alleviate the chaos. We left one hour late. When we arrived at JFK we spent 1.5 hours on the tarmac waiting for a gate. There was no communication from airline staff explaining the delay or any attempt to minimize our discomfort- (provide water for example). Once we disembarked, we waited more than 2 hours for our luggage. After an hour, an airline staff explained the delay and then disappeared. She was remarkably defensive and unsympathetic. I understand that weather conditions u in NY contributed to some of this, but the lack of communication by airline staff was unconscionable. Also the food was terrible."

They oversold the flight and when you are 1 min late, they give away your seat ,even though they is a 2 hr delay. There was a cockroach on the plane, and the sad thing is that they had cockroach spay on the plane. This should not be. New tickets had to be bought my my other family, although their flight was delayed. I am definitely reporting them to the better business bureau. They should not be in business at all. Never again"

Cons: "Flight was delayed nearly 2-3 hours, for no apparent reason other than the flight crew showing up late. People were asked to queue up and then, after an hour, told that we wouldn't be boarding soon, with no estimated boarding time. On the flight I was next to a talk man who had paid extra for a bulkhead seat, but once his ticket was issued he was in a regular seat. The flight crew absolutely did not care. A number of people missed connecting flights due to the long delay. English announcements were incomprehensible."

Not only was that false information (it didn't wait), but I was put on a flight hours later and got no compensation or even an apology. It should also be stated that Casablanca airport was in a state of chaos when I transited, with no one in charge of directing people towards connections, passengers fighting, screaming and forcing their way through security. If Royal Air Maroc wants to continue expanding and attracting passengers, Casablanca airport needs to be able to handle large numbers of transiting passengers both in terms of infrastructure and ground personnel handling traffic and rebookings."

Apparently, they had given my bag to someone else! By the time I located my possessions this debacle had caused a number of other problems. Would never use this airline again."

Cons: "The attitude of the flight staff toward the passengers could be best described as somewhere between prison warden transporting felons and grade school teacher who hates children leading a field trip. To begin with, our flight closed down boarding over an hour before the take off time. When I asked why the flight boarded so early, a flight attendant snapped at me that it was not early. Okay then. Our flight was two hours delayed (so we sat there for three hours) and during that time I asked for a glass of water and was yelled at to sit back down. I attempted to use the bathroom and was yelled at to sit back down. Other passengers became desperately thirsty and antsy, and they were also yelled at by the staff. I was anticipating another full day of traveling after my flight so I attempted to sleep as soon as the lights went off. I was woken up at midnight because the woman, who I assume had never flown on an airplane before, sitting behind me wanted me to lift my seat up while she ate her dinner. Everyone else on the flight was eating with the seat in front of them reclined, but of course I was woken up, yelled at by the staff, and had my seat forcibly returned to the upright position. When breakfast came around, I was deep in sleep, and the flight attendant snapped my seat up (waking me up) without even asking. I was the only person on the flight who had their seat snapped to the upright position for breakfast this way. They also demanded the pillows and blankets be returned over an hour before landing time. It was service so outrageously bad that the entire experience felt surreal, and I had to keep checking with my friend that the events I was experiencing were actually happening."

Cons: "Being re-booked on a flight that left 32 hours later; because my first RAM flight from Madrid was 4 hrs late departing causing me to miss my flight to JFK. RAM re-scheduled us on an RAM flight that left 32 hrs later necessitating a stay at an airport hotel that we received vouchers. When the first flight was late leaving in Madrid, I requested that they re-book us on a Flight from Madrid to JFK via TAP thru Lisbon, British Airways thru London or Aur France thru Paris. They said they could instead book us on an RAM flight that night from Casablanca to JFK. It turned out that that flight was full and the next flight on 8/17 was also full therefore we were booked on a flight that departed Casablanca at 20:30 and arrived at JFK at 1:05 early morning. They said they could not give us a voucher for a hotel near JFK and we would have to take it up with their agent at JFK. We should also be re-imbursed for our transportation from JFK because we lost our ride home from JFK because of their change of schedule."

Luckily this time I was not traveling completely alone and coworkers were able to assist. Crew would not let me sleep on the plane, kept waking me to eat. I was not permitted to bring all my luggage and no alternatives were offered. My carry on was taken from me because the wheel chair person did not want to deal with me and it. I wish there was an option, but I will have to fly air Marco again."
