Flight originally delayed because for weather. But then the plane was weight restricted and they were overweight, so we had to burn off fuel. Got to DFW 2 hours later and missed connection. Therefore, not happy
Missed our connection due to delayed. Ended up with a replacement flight with connections getting us in really late and annoying..
Pleasant flight. Everyone was on the same page. Efficient boarding and nice checkin experience. Bags were delivered to baggage claim quickly in Las Vegas.

Cons: "When I arrived to check in at 5:48am for my 6:20am flight, I was treated very poorly. The lady at the counter asked me what time my flight was and I said 6:20 and right off the bat she was extremely rude and said that I missed the flight. I panicked internally and asked her how that was possible?! She said the cutoff was at 5:45am and I missed it. I asked if there were other flights available today or tomorrow and she said there was nothing she could do and that I had to call the booking company to see if they could book me. I wanted to cry because my friend had just dropped me off and I called to see if she was close enough to turn back. Luckily she hadn’t left yet. I called the booking company and they were able to book me a trip for the following day but they charged me an additional $100. I wish they had disclosed that we need to be there 45 minutes to an hour early otherwise you miss your flight. And it’s ridiculous that I had to pay an extra $100... financially it was stressful due to the covid 19 situation. I was extremely disappointed in how the lady at the check in counter at American Airlines treated me. She www extremely rude and I have never been spoken to in a way that made me feel attacked."

Pros: "The crew was amazing but I was on a United flight since American was late leaving Athens. AA booked me on a later flight from Chicago to San Francisco on United. They issued separate inside seats for my wife and I. United showed me their kindness by putting us together in economy Plus."
Cons: "I don't blame American for being late but putting me on a United flight and splitting up my wife and I seperate seats was a little under the bar."

Cons: "1) American's boarding process seems to be driven by ticket price and nothing else. Every other airline I've been with boards families with small children first. It lets those families and get on board and get setup so that they don't block aisle access for everyone else. American seems to board based on how expensive your ticket was. So, the aisles get blocked and boarding takes forever. 2) The cabin crew gave pretty apathetic service. When our baby threw up on us, they just told us to go clean ourselves up in the bathrooms. They gave us a can of soda water to help clean up, but that was about it. 3) When my wife asked if the bread was dairy free (for our baby with a dairy allergy), the staff's response was to turn to another staff member and ask them, "Do you want to go back and research that?" In the end they just told us they didn't have time to look it up."

Cons: "We were asked to board then had to sit for an hour while they did system checks in the heat. The air conditioning was not working, they didn't offer us anything to drink.... it could have been handled differently. Why didn't they just leave us in the terminal until everything was ready for us?"

Cons: "American airlines mishandled my luggage. Extremely poor communication about status. (I don't know how much all my phone calls to them will end up costing!) Two and a half days later, I have to return to the airport to pick it up. If you travel with AA, pack MORE than essentials in your carry-on! Also it is criminal that they charge extra for aisle seats!"
Pros: "I am traveling with a friend and our request to seat together was hornored. The crew was fantastic but the seats were cramped. The entertainment was mediocre. I was happy to hear of charging stations, alas, i wasn’t sitting in one of those seats with that option."

Cons: "Our flight was 'delayed' and as a result had to be put on another connecting flight. Many people on the same flight missed their connecting flights because of it. Because of all the re-booking they had to do, we nearly missed our flight as well. AA is also horrible at boarding."
Cons: "We purchased seats and they changed them without telling us so we picked new ones. Well guess what, we get to the airport and the same thing. I was seated at the front of the plane and my fiancé was at the back. Luckily a nice gentleman switched seats with me and we were able to sit together but it was the last seats that did not recline on an 8 hour flight. We will never fly American again. Their customer service offered no help and was extremely rude to us."

Cons: "AA wants to charge $75 to change tickets to take an earlier flight. Plenty of seats available on the earlier flight, while standby passengers not able to get onto the later flight. I lost 4 hours, AA lost revenue, standby passengers stuck in Philly. Also, no air conditioning on this flight."
Cons: "my first flight was delayed by 4 hours so I automatically missed my connection. i called american to reschedule my flight for the next day in order to spend the night at my house and not have ro ask for hotel, they said no problem. when I go to she counter to explain they said that they would put me on a later flight and that they where sure I would make it. when I arrived miami I had missed my connection and they did NOT cover the hotel expenses they rebooked me for the next day at 5pm. no food no hotel no nothing. the next day I arrived at the airport counter the people at the american airline's counter did not want to let me thorugh because I had a one way ticket... after explaining for over 25 minutes they let me go.... the miami gloght to Bermuda then was also delayed for a total of 2 hours and they changed gates 8 times from one end to thw other and so on.... the worst service ever........"

Cons: "Boarded us late. Got us to the runway, realized they didn't have the paperwork they needed and returned to gate. Swapped out a crew member whilst they were there. Lost place in the queue and so we ended up about an hour and a half late. Lots of excuses but don't recall hearing an "I'm sorry for the delay"."
