Pros: "I have flown Turkish Air many times since 2010, and used to like the airline. Not so much anymore. I would say their entertainment center and food are pretty good."
Cons: "They used to have an affordable Economy Premium option, now all they have are seats made for someone 5’5” 150 pounds. Anyone over 6’ can and will suffer greatly. I’m 6’4” and fly many of their 12 hour flights from LAX to Istanbul and have to sit sideways, until my back aches so bad I have to turn. They also keep their planes unbearably hot, which I have no idea why, making the trip in that cramped seat horrible. Their in between meals snacks consist of cheese sandwiches, and the attendants never come around with drinks or snacks. I also fly Singapore Air and Emirates and their service is subperb!"

Cons: "The seats were incredibly Uncomfortable, and I was in Business Class. It seemed to be a newer plane. The seat was like sitting on a bench, not in a seat, and the distance between rows was almost non-existant; it was very distressing and disappointing...."

Cons: "The crew on board was aloof, and somewhat rude. I was traveling with my 87 yr old mother and they did little to help, especially when we needed the restroom but they had the aisle blocked for most of the time, serving food. There was no way to get around to access the bathroom and the crew turned us away from the only available bathroom in the front. Really?! Not impressed at all. Also the flt was 30 minutes late making our connection tight. One of the young, gorgeous stewardesses was rude and dismissive of me when I asked about it."

Cons: "Computers were down for more than 2 hours. I have a disability and I was told to seat and someone would come with a wheelchair when the problem would be solved. They completely forgot about me. When I saw that the people had boarded, I went to the counter asking for the wheelchair. They sent me to Egypt Air to request it. Of course Egypt Air said I was not their passenger, so I should request the chair to my airline. I tell the man from Egypt air to talk directly to his colleagues in Turkish Airways. He is angry and tells me he's doing me the favor of getting the chair even if it's not his job, so i should be very thankful. He requested the chair and sat me on it. Kept telling me I should be thankful to him, even if it wasn't his job. Turkish Airways never got the wheelchair for me and I have mobility problem but they tell me to get to another airline to get it! No entertainment originally in Spanish in any flights for Spanish speaking passengers."

Cons: "Service was terrible, crew was rude. Flight was delayed 2 hours leaving Tel Aviv and my luggage was not here when we arrived. They let us wait two hours for luggage before telling us it wasn't going to make it in. Frustrated and disappointed! Ground security in Turkey was rude and took my sons skate board which we had flown to Israel with and back to turkey, then they told us it couldn't come with us to miami although we flew Turkish both directions with no problem. In the end gate staff went and rescued his skate board from security as he got to the flight crying his little eyes out. Communication was terrible and staff was rude!"

Cons: "Having to pay for internet if you want to use it. The way Israelis queue at the airport, leaving no room between you and them...too much pressure. Strange 'breakfast"."

Cons: "Boarding in Istanbul and Tel Aviv was chaotic, no business class boarding. Checking laptop in Istanbul was inconvenient. Lounge Istanbul was awesome however way too crowded to fully take advantage of it. Also should control people and what they takfor food. The lines were long and people would literally pile their plates with massive amounts of food, take it to their seat then leave it. Fix the lockers and add more, they are a wonderful asset but I was not able to take advantage of. Consider limiting access to manage crowds."

Pros: "I liked the fact that I was not bothered by any background sounds while listening to a movie on the Turkish Airlines headphones. The crew was very nice, and the food was fantastic."

Cons: "I'm 2.05m tall, and had no leg room or an exit seat. These seats should be saved for these specific occassions, which made the flight uncomfortable."

Cons: "I was shocked when we landed in Ataturk and the sleeve was attached to the plane we had to get down to the ground from the middle of the sleeve. We were taken to the terminal by bus!! After the sleeve was already attached! I can understand when you are in some small airport or flying with low cost airline. But it's Turkish airlines in their home airport! Really disappointed."

Cons: "My husband is 5'11' tall and was extremely uncomfortable because his knees were right up against the seat in front of him. The man on the other side of me was also very uncomfortable because of the same reason. I am only 4'11" and so I didn't have a problem. I would have rated this trip excellent except for the uncomfortable seating. I know this is done to cram in as many seats as possible into the plane, and thus sell more tickets, but from a passenger's perspective, this is a terrible practice."

Pros: "The meals were superb as was the selection of Turkish wine and spirits, Flight crew was warm and very attentive and the in-flight movie selection was stellar. Can't find a single negative thing to say. I love Turkish Air."
