Pros:It was a new vehicle in good condition and it was clean but a major downgrade from what Kayak advertised and what I expected based on how much I paid.Cons:The staff was friendly but it was super frustrating how much time they made me waste while coercing me to buy extra insurance that I didn't want or need. I didn't appreciate all their intimidation techniques as well as with the prepayment of the fuel tank as if that was the only option. Also Kayak advertised a Chevrolet Tahoe or equivalent for the full size SUV category and when I got there they said the Chevrolet Equinox was their full size version and had nothing bigger available without a major increase in price. I feel ripped off on every front and will never again rent through Kayak or from Alamo.Reviewed 2020 Feb 20

Cons:We reserved a vehicle from this company when we were at home, but when we arrived at the airport we were told the car we had reserved was already rented out to somebody, and instead were offered a more expensive alternative option that we had to turn down.Reviewed 2019 Aug 07

Cons:Everything went wrong. The vehicle that I reserved wasn’t the one they wanted to give me. When I showed them a picture of vehicle or similar they blamed kayak for error. They wanted to give me a smaller vehicle for same price. I ended up using another rental company.Reviewed 2019 Jun 27

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE OUTSIDE THE USPros:NothingCons:Pick up took almost 2 hours. They forced me to get coverage that I didn't need seeing as though I purchased additional coverage that covered me in Dominican Republic AND my credit card covered me too. They said they didn't have my reservation, then said they don't have my car, then mysteriously the car I reserved and needed showed up. When it did she told me I HAD to take all coverage from them to get into the vehicle and that my card doesn't cover it and neither does the additional insurance I purchased. No I did not rent an exotic car, it was just a Tahoe. This was the WORST rental experience I've ever had and was definitely taken advantage of.Reviewed 2016 Aug 17
