Be prepared to wait in line for Budget in ABQ -- there's usually a single staffer working the counter for three rental companies. We were 5th in line when we got there on this past trip and it took about an hour to get our car. they changed the car make at the pick up-theone I got was a trimmed version and the 4motion was missing the rotary dial to engage in snow mode-and the manual in the glove compartment was for a different model wurth such a dial, so no use of it-without snow mode we had to cancel some plansReviewed 2025 Jan 25

The Chrysler Pacifica had lots of pet hair (cat or dog), dirt, debri, & etc. It would have been better for me as a customer, to have been clean. At least vacuumed to get the pet hair up/out/gone.Reviewed 2024 May 21

First off my flight landed at 11:20 AM on Saturday. I called the location that was my reservation. I told him I would be six minutes away. They said they would wait for me but keep in mind they close at 12 I took a Uber to get there I go to location come to find out 1145 they completely locked their doors. I tried calling them six times and they completely ignore me Crying and very upset since I needed this truck to move my family member I called the reservation hotline and they transfer me to another location. That’s an hour away damaged. My reservation and plans reserve resort to me to pay extra day rental. I will not be using budget anymore. Budget was closed at ABQ - directed to AVIS counter. They did NOT have the RAV4 AWD that I had reserved (with nav) ; nor did they have any AWD vehicle for me. The agent said thy don't have AWd vehicles because ABQ only gets snow one month out of the year - I didn't know people who rented in ABQ never strayed out of that city!) After searching, the agent found a FORD Edge with AWD - for an ADDITIONAL $25 per day above the cost of the AWD quote. The right rear tire sensor kept going off during the trip, but the tire itself was not deflated. It is a noisy ride and the seats are not comfortable for a long trip, You have to look at the digital controls on the center console- That is not a safe practice going 75 mph on the I-40. After driving this vehicle for over 2k miles, I can say I would never buy a FORD Edge.Reviewed 2024 Jan 03
