We booked a one way rental. While there was a budget rental office at the Auckland airport only the downtown office did one way rentals. When we booked we were told there was a shuttle from the airport. This was definitely not true and we had to pay $180nzd and take a 30 minute drive to get to the budget rental office. That was a very unpleasant surprise after flying around the world with three young kids! I will avoid budget in the future because of that.Reviewed 2023 Dec 27
