Due to Covid and some unexpected medical conditions I was unable to travel yet they wouldn't allow me to cancel my rental. That was (much needed) money out the window. When I tried to connect with an agent there was no consideration of circumstance and I was highly frustrated and disappointed.

We were stranded while traveling, rented and paid the deposit on the vehicle, made other arrangements to get back home, then went to the airport to pick up the vehicle, and we were extremely rudely and inhumanely asked when did you make the reservation. When I replied when we made the reservation, and explained that we were travellers in distress, we were informed that they had no vehicles, they were overbooked, that for some reason, which was not explained, corporate had left the booking open. Over and above this, we were treated very poorly by the women in charge of the Dollar / Hertz counter at Grand Junction, CO Airport. There was not the slightest bit of regret, sorrow, not the slightest bit of apology. She appeared to be taking pleasure from the continued misfortune of our distressed travel group. We will never rent from Dollar or Hertz in our lives again, not should any traveller that has any self respect or any sense.

We had to cancel our trip due to covid and could not get a refund.It was my mistake for not reading the refund policy more carefully. Had I done so I would not have booked the rental. I will not be using this company anymore.

Great car for the price!I guess the low price was the reason the vehicle had so few features (no CarPlay or navigation) seemed to be very base model of Nissan Rogue. Rear window appeared to have been replaced (you could see the places where the window “grips” were when they installed it - and the rear window defrost/defog didn’t work either)

We got an upgraded SUVThey charge $13.50 per day for each additional driver, including a spouse. This is high!

The woman who assisted me with my car pick up was so helpful! She provided a map of the area, drew routes on the map for me, and provided tips for grocery stores, etc. She also permitted me to park in the rental lot when I returned that evening to pick up my sister at the airport.Everything was really great!

The staff was not friendly or helpful.There could've actually been a car reserved... No cars available for six hours when I arrived to pick up. This caused my trip to be cancelled. Don't confirm booking for your customers if there aren't any cars available.

I especially liked the staff person at the desk on Friday morning (5/31). He answered all my 1000 questions with a smile and real responses.This experience was just great and there isn't anything I would change.

The check-in process went quickly and they didn't pressure me to buy anything extra. It went very well. I asked for a smaller car, but got a nice truck, which was fine. The Sirius radio was another nice plus.I actually can't think of anything that would have made the car rental experience better.
