So i arriving at the rental company before they opened that morning. 5 minutes before they opened they called me to tell me they did not have a car for me and they had over booked. I then was stuck in Grand Junction because of this rental that i had reserved did not exist. I will never use avis again and i am questioning future reservations with kayak as well. If you don't have the car don't make the reservation vs calling and canceling on the person the morning of. Thanks great service Avis it was going to be $505 for a one day rental and you still screwed me over.Reviewed 2026 Mar 19

I was charged an additional $500 for a “one way fee” however no one could explain to me why I was charged. It was not on my original receipt and the worker at the return desk could not explain it. I called customer service and was only refunded $300. No workers could explain why I was charged this fee. I would like an additional $200 refunded for this fee that could not be explained to me.Reviewed 2023 Sept 28
