I would hardly call the car we rented an SUV…. And they charged us an extra $24.99/day for the “SUV” upgrade. Total cost for four days was iced $600 to rent a car that barely went over 55 mph. Such a racket.

The wait at pickup was much longer than it had to be - there was only 1 person at the counter and one or two people directing people to cars, and the inventory/lot management was inadequate. Alamo didn't have the reserved vehicle (minivan) and had to substitute a full-size SUV, which took 20+ minutes to find - there was a wait at the counter (despite a light crowd) and at the lot (where one poor guy was running all over the lot trying to find cars to match with customers).

Friendly service at the ick-up location; VERY pleased that when I called the 1-800 number to modify my reservation, I actually talked to a real person in under 5 minutes. Overall, Alamo has provided the best rental service that I have experienced in a long time. Will definitely use them again.The Kansas City location required additional photo IDs (fraud prevention). This didn't affect me, but others may need to be aware of the requirement (which was not advertised in advance).

Alamo was closed when we arrived in Kansas City. The rental car company to the right next counter over had to handle the paperwork. I had already booked and paid online for an easy pick up. They made us jump through hoops while my 90 year old parents had to wait for us.

Everything!! The car was clean, customer service was very clear and nice to work with during the process.Me having a mobile app to track my reservation better. I had to search through emails and track down information. This is a problem for me not with the service. Alamo was amazing and I will definitely rent from them again. Thank you

The staff was nice, but there were not enough so wait times were longI got a car that was dirty (inside and out) and that WAS NOT FULL OF GAS, but was down almost a quarter tank. When I pointed this out, I just got a shrug. Bet if I returned it down a quarter tank the reaction would be different

They let me close any vehicle in the line so i chose a mini van. It was perfect for my needs, clean and new. Return was super quick at the MCI Airport. Never had to wait at all for the shuttle bus. Shuttle was about 5 min from the airport.
