I booked my rental ahead of time. Only to be told at the airport that my license was no valid. Went to the next counter and rented a vehicle with National. When I returned the vehicle to the airport, I went back to Budget counter and gave the customer service rep my licence and asked to rent a car. He was happy to rent one to me. My question is what changed between Saturday 9 October and Monday 11 October. Called and left a message for Budget to call back. I am still waiting. It was terrible experience. Ended up renting a car at a higher rate. Ruined my vacation.

I did not have a good experience overall. I don't think it was a KAYAK thing necessarily..... Booked a car online with Kayak. I chose a Jeep Grand Cherokee ( Or similar ) what I got was a Hyundai Santa fe. I'm sorry but this is not even close to being similar. Above and beyond the price / class difference of the car. The Santa Fe didn't drive nice. The push button experience was inconvenient. Had trouble adjusting to this fact. For a car that has seemingly has so many electronics and technology, it was not very intuitive. I went to get in the car after parking it for the night and the next day the battery was completely drained. I double checked and the lights had not been left on...... The mechanic that was dispatched to help get the car started again told me that this is a common occurrence with this model. If you have the radio on for example and the car is off and parked it wont turn itself off. Whereas the Cherokee does turn itself off after a certain point. My biggest complaint however is service related. I had booked my pickup to correspond with my flight arrival. 2pm. My flight was early so I arrived to pick up the car 20 mins early. So I was prepared for a little bit of a wait. I ended up waiting over and hour and a half for the car to be ready.... When I complained about it the agents kept telling me that it would be ready in 10 mins and again 10 mins and again 10 mins. What's the point of booking a car in advance when you have to wait this long?! Then when I finally got the car it wasn't what I had expected. I did mention it immediately, that this isn't the type of car I was expecting and the agent said well, it's an SUV and a comparable car. A Santa Fe instead of a Grand Cherokee. I wasn't happy about it but I also wasn't going to risk waiting another hour and a half. .

The best rental car pickup and dropoff experience ever. No waiting. Friendly, patient staff. Very clean vehicle. Right at the airport - no shuttle needed. One employee quickly brought me a luggage cart when I really needed one. Best price I could find. I was very happy with all aspects of my experience.

We liked the free vehicle upgrade they provided but the pricing was a little higher than we were expecting.

My experience was actually amazing. The on line experience and both in person experiences were excellent. I do not want to take away from that. The accidental ordering of two cars, and being able to cancel with no trouble was a very great experience as well.My experience ordering an economy car and getting a V6, was a bit sad. I had a long way to travel and that was the impulse to get a eco car. The gas cost more that the rental of the car, due to the engine size. My recommendation would to ensure if a eco car was ordered do your best or at least tell the person so they may choose something more fuel efficient. All in all great experience. Thank you so much!

I booked mini van online i was there at the location on time. I called, I went to the front desk, ask everyone around. No one was there to inform me anything or reply by email or cellphone. I was at trouble finding a van for my business. Very bad experience and I will pass on to my friend also my partner.

Car was excellent.Car not inspected at pickup. At return, AFTER the attendant signed return confirmation, he identified a trivial crack in the windshield. Office did not have a clearly identified place or method for handling returns quickly. They wanted us to fill out redundant info. Another man had same issues.
