Cons:They called me the next morning and told me they did not have a rental for me. So maybe check your inventory before letting someone book a vehicle.
Cons:Reserved a premium sUV (Suburban) as traveling with 4 adults and 3 children in car seats. Was given a full size suv (Tahoe) even though the same agent called 3 days to confirm asking if I needed a suburban premium suv. At gate when I tried to add my dad as a driver agent said he’d waive charge. Then handed me keys and said the Tahoe was all ready. When I said I didn’t want a Tahoe as my strolled doesn’t fit in back with our 7 passengers and luggage he said that was all available at site. Offered a second vehicle to rent which we didn’t want as I already paid for and reserved a suburban. I had to call national customer service who’s only solution was for ME to drive 1hr+ away to exchange car! Then offered to refund only $50 for mishap. I had paid $66 more for premium rental so demanded at least that back. I won’t be renting from Budget again if they cannot provide rentals they advertise as available.
Cons:I made reservations weeks in advance. Was called an hour before I was to pick up the car and was told there wasn't one available.
Pros:new car and nice bluish color; easy to pick up car and drop off car (except NO drop off sign that says Budget-I had to park and walk in to ask where to park the car). I'm not happy to spend $100 a day to rent car but it was the cheapest price available so happy about that.
Cons:ALL DIRTY WINDOWS, inside perfume smell was annoying, drop off guy had lack of communication and charged wrong credit card becuz he didn't ask me-he assumed I wanted same card charged. I expected he would ask for my charge card and my signature. He credited my account and took a different card but I did not want a charge and a credit on that card. Then the words he used seemed he was blaming ME. He was Not very apologetic at all. Plus he was RUDE to the people behind us when we left the counter.
Pros:The dropoff was quick.
Cons:The rep in Rockford Il tried to hardsell double coverage collision coverage and even though we had purchased collision coverage/travel insurance through Allianz on the online aggregator we used. He had to redo the contract 2 times because of the excessive add ons that Budget attempted to add. Rep was very slow and tried to distract me with chatter. Car was late and rep said that he tried to call us while we were en route to pick up to tell us the car was late. Although we were picking up the car in Rockford he called NJ.
Pros:Staff was friendly until we had a problem.
Cons:Unfortunately, had to use a car reaking of smoke. Agent said if we wanted to wait an hour, they could probably get a car cleaned up for us. Agent had to turn away other customers because no clean cars were available. Not acceptable for a company the size of Hertz. Disappointing.
Pros:Staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved the Nissan Versa. Drop off was quick.

Cons:Waited 40 minutes for a person to come to the counter to get my key. Was told to put the key in the drop box after hours when returning the car, the slot in the box was too narrow to fit the key. Had to make a second trip back to drop key off the next day. I'll be trying another provider.

Cons:Because we prepayed with our credit card we had to pay a $225 deposit for some unknown reason. They claimed this is their policy for anyone who prepays. There was no mention of this when I made the reservation. They refused to let me use a different card for this. Then there was 3 separate charges totaling an extra $23 that I had to pay. Even though my confirmation specifically said $0 due at pickup. The guy at the counter could not tell me what the fees were for. He said "probably some airport fees or something". Hertz customer service people extremely rude and absolutely no help! I rent cars very often and have never had a problem. This was my first and last time going through hertz.

Cons:Drop off parking lot was not well marked for specific rental company. The lot was exposed to bad weather and was icy when I arrived. The walk to the main entrance was challenging.

Cons:You need to accept Debit Cards for payment. Being financially responsible and not putting things on Credit should not hinder a person from renting a car. They wouldn’t allow me to use a family members card either because it wasn’t mine or my husbands. I won’t be using Alamo until this is resolved.

Pros:They overbooked and instead of the car I reserved, I had to drive three kids and all our luggage out of state in a truck. They did comp our gas and give us a discount which was nice of them and I was thankful for the 4 wheel drive once it snowed. I think better inventory checking is needed though.
Cons:Counter closes at 2pm on Weekends. There is no way for after hours pick up to happen.
Pros:I had to wait in line for awhile to get my rental car. I really did not think my wait was unacceptable as I could see the service rep was just very busy helping others ahead of me in line. Anyway, she gave me an upgrade in my vehicle due to the time I had to wait. Very considerate, will make me choose Alamo again in the future.

Pros:Rockford airport Avis personnel don’t care about customers. Allegiant airlines moved my flight to come in at 8pm. Avis employees would not stay or come in so I could pick up a rental car. Unacceptable and unprofessional. Avis doesn’t care !!!!!
