I requested the manager's special, which turned out to be a Tesla. I've never driven a Tesla so was interested, but uncertain about where to find a charger in town. Went out to the car and the door wouldn't open, so that took care of that. The trouble was walking back and forth through 6" of slush to the lot and back, then back to the car to see if they could open the door, then back to the desk, then back to another car. Not Dollar's fault, really, but pretty inconvenient. Otherwise, Sask airport rental parking is pretty simple as far as pickup and dropoff.Reviewed 2026 Apr 11

counter agent said my agreement with them not valid and required a new contract, more money, lesser car. I was most upset and eventually allowed to see another agent who did finally get me the car agreed upon at the agreed price. They have subsequently increased my fuel option charge beyond agreement. Well priced car rental. But very confusing with all the different insurances. Thought I added it in when securing the car. But that was not recognised at Dollar car rental. So the insurance purchased at the counter cost me as much as the rental itself.Reviewed 2026 Apr 08

Line was very long even thought I pre checked in for faster pick up. There were only two ladies working the counter and they were obviously overworked and were being rude and yelling at customers. I Waited about 30-40 minutes even with pre check in. When I got to the car there was trash in the back seat and someone's phone charger. Went back in and they gave me another car.Reviewed 2026 Mar 30
