Pros: We stayed 2 night during the snow in late November. The room was wonderfully warm, cosy and welcoming. The staff were very pleasant and helpfull. The location was great, idealy situated on the beautiful St. Stephens Green and so close to shops, restuarents and public transport. The convenience of having secure parking meant no worries or messing about with meters or tickets. Breakfast was pretty good too.

Pros: Breakfast was a pantomime, maybe it was a particularly bad day but it definitely has deterred us from booking again. There was a queue to sit down for 10 mins, then we had to ask for the table to be cleared & wiped. The waitress was huffing & puffing & extremely rude. We then had to ask for knives & this in turn seemed to annoy her & she snapped at my friend. We are in our mid thirties & have travelled a lot & were very surprised & disappointed at this. Reception staff were friendly & helpful but the restaurant staff were awful. It wasn't just our table though as everyone around us was asking for something or other & everyone has either bemused or angry expressions. Very bad service.

Pros: The O'Callaghan Mont Clare is located walking distance from all the sights, but away from the noise of the city center. There is a loading zone right in front on the street so that you can unload your car before returning your rental. You would not be advised to use a car for sightseeing in Dublin. The rooms are average size for Europe, clean and quiet. Front desk staff are very helpful and friendly. A cab to the airport costs about 25 EUR from here. There is no easy bus/train access to the airport from this location. There are good restaurants and pubs as well as a Centra and a SPAR within walking distance.

Pros: 1st they are SO ACCOMODATING. Thanks to guest services, concierge DENNIS :-0 and the crew plus the front door attendants, managers, housekeeping are all amazing. Guest Service Rep came to greet us and had the goats milk avail for my daughter. In the USA we can only purchase at select store and did not realize it was more common to have in Dublin. We have made Dublin-the Shelbourne as our #1 headquarters. The quality of our stay, the fact they have vetted services for a nanny, great food, amazing polite service from all departments simply speaks volumes. Mr. Hanley and his staff at this fine establishment continue to amaze me. I really appreciate the peace of mind they bring to me and my little 1 and 2 year old children each visit. We surely feel special and love the amazing spacious rooms. THANK YOU ALL!! See you again next year.

Pros: I was a little hesitant on getting a hotel in Temple Bar - it's a noisy pub crawl neighborhood, but that all went away when I stepped inside. It's on the far end of Temple Bar, near O'Connel Street, but that means it's central to everything. I was able to drop off my luggage early so I could explore Dublin for the day. I also got upgraded from a single room to a double with no extra charge. Room was quiet - during the day you could occasionally here slot machines outside the window, but I can't complain. Never heard the bar crowd. Great facilities, never got to check out the pool or breakfast but I'm sure they're both wonderful. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Dublin, for either business or leisure.

The reception was a very professional bureau of world-class valetting standard, informative and polite, with assistance of a real nature, both escorting me to my room by hand and by transport. Pros: This hotel is in a terrific Dublin location. Everything is convenient from St Stephen's Green. The hotel is luxurious and well-appointed with many nice details. I did not eat there, so cannot speak to the restaurant side of the deal. The rooms are a little small but nicely finished and the heated bathroom floor and loaner umbrellas were fabulous touches.

Pros: Kildare street hotel was a nice find if you don't mind sharing a bathroom. (Although not all rooms have to share bathrooms). Great value for the room we were given. Booked it while riding on the shuttle bus from the airport to city center. Just a few blocks from the bus drop off.

Pros: I traveled with a group of 8 people, aged 24 to 80 and the hotel was good for all. The hotel was funky and cool, we had two rooms both nice. Lots of very pleasant travelers in the hotel. The staff were absolutely great, helpful and cheerful. The Irish Music, dancing, and food in the pub below were a great way to start our trip. Museums and resaurants were just a block a way. Area felt safe to walk around at night. I would stay here every time I visit Dublin.

Pros: Great hotel. Nice and clean but pretty pricey considering all you get is the actual room. Call ahead if you have a car to park. We parked in Fleet Street parking as they advised and it gave us a reduced(but still pricey) rate for parking our car. Easy to find, wonderful staff. The “what I didn’t like” is more for extra info. Would 100% recommend this hotel and 100% stay in again if ever back in Dublin! Perfect location!!!!
