Are we had a bad experience with Hertz Rent-A-Car in Lima Peru they did not want to refund the 2 days that we have turned the car in early. We had the car a total of 10 days . We had a family emergency so we had to leave. I will have to find a car rental company that can understand when a family emergency happens.Reviewed 2023 Jan 11

I like the fact I can pay when picking up, even at 2am. I didnt like that on return, the receiver was scrutinizing every single dent to make me pay an extra charge. A similar thing happened to me last year and I end paying 30 usd extra, because the car was not clean enough for them. With the high rental fees we are already paying this is really anoying and ridiculous. Plus, it made me lose time for checking in for my flight. ThanksReviewed 2022 Jul 08

Everything was ok until the return of the vehicle : 1/ very hard to find the return area 2/ airport employees give wrong information about where to return the car 3/ gate was closed 4/ Hertz agent tells us to wait 30 minutes for the drop off because he is alone or to leave the keys in the car and leave 5/ we were informed that the car had to be washed or it would cost $15 And we were charged $20 I will not recommend Hertz to anyone.Reviewed 2022 Apr 18
